Had to cancel trip due to corona. Even though I was wishing the “refund policy time” I didn’t receive a refund. So Snap Travel said they would credit me because of this so I didn’t file a dispute. After months I hadn’t heard anything. They then informed me I cannot receive a credit. This should be illegal, it’s not my fault that there’s a pandemic.

I have been using Snaptravel for 6+ months and I love it. Best deals 100% of the time.

I travel for about 10 months out of the year for work. I always use Snaptravel when searching for a room. I’ve never been let down.

Easy! Best deal I could find! And the text reminders were the perfect touch!!!

Fast, easy, great rate, would definitely use this again when booking a room.

I am a first time customer of Snaptravel. I will admit I was a bit skeptical because it seemed to good to be true. $50 below competitors prices?? Not only did we save $50 on our room but we got the VIP Package upgrade and we were upgraded to a nicer room on a higher floor with a nice view, early check in and a late check out. Snaptravel saved us $200 overall!! I will be booking all future trips thru snaptravel.

Snaptravel made it quick and easy to find the best rate for the hotel I wanted to stay in.

Very pleased weekend gateway trip with the girls. Shopping everywhere all around and great pool area, as well as the overall decor and cleanliness of the hotel.

This is a scam. Plain and simple. Do not trust this service with your plans and especially not your money. They will give you the exact same reply every time “ we need more time” then when the refund window passes, no more communication.

I was happy to find a great deal at the hotel I needed through snaptravel! The deal was extremely competitive with all of the other travel options available. It was a great experience.

Simple and easy to use! Worked great. I had zero issues! I booked my stay the night before and my reservation was cleared by 10am the next morning. Check in was a breeze!

Great prices and service they stick to cancellation policy and allow changes

I booked a hotel stay through this website SnapTravel.com. The website, as well as all of the confirmations say I booked *** in Bend. When I called the hotel in Bend, it is not a ***. It was taken over by *** on the 1st of the month. There is no *** in Bend, Oregon anymore. If I would have known this was a ***, I would have not booked. This is false advertising among other things. I have been completely misled. I spoke with the desk at the ***, they confirmed that there is no *** in bend. They said I should definitely call the 3rd party website and get a refund ASAP. The problem is there is no phone number to reach this 3rd party website. There is only an email. They have not responded to the email I sent them. I finally found a phone number to contact them. I waited on hold for 20 minutes, and some lady rushed me off the phone saying that someone would call me in 10 minutes. That was an hour ago. all of my confirmation emails and voucher says I am booked at *** in bend. There is no *** in bend. This is false advertising among other things.

I am rejecting this response because:they called the *** where they made the reservation and confirmed that I had a reservation. My complaint is that they use false advertising because my voucher says they booked with ***. once again I will say, there is no *** in bend. We did not want to stay at ***. They would not give us a refund. and they said that they resolved it by confirming we had a reservation with the hotel that I said I did not want. This business is a scam.

The *** informed us that they used to be *** but changed their name. It looks like you initiated the chargeback process, we cannot access your account and any resolution must continue through your financial institution. Your bank has already withdrawn the funds from our account so we are not able to take any further action. My wife and I were given a credit due to our stay at *** being cancelled by COVID-19. Originally we received an email stating we were being refunded our amount and then several minutes later we received a follow up emailing stating to disregard the previous email as it was a mistake. We reached out and were told we couldn't be given a refund (even though we selected the refund option when the booking was cancelled) and were instead offered a credit for the price of our cancelled booking. We accepted it with the intent of rebooking and using that credit. We tried to use our credit to book a stay at *** in Sanibel, FL for July 13-15, 2020. The booking system accepted our credit and we put in our payment information and submitted it. The page reloaded and were given the notice that "The referral discount of USD156.80 will be sent to you via Snaptravel credits after you complete your stay," and we were being asked to pay the full amount for the booking now. After calling customer service we were told that Snaptravel credits can only be used for certain bookings and our booking was not eligible to use it. I asked the customer service rep to direct me to the policy and documents that contain that language and information and she stated "we don't have a policy stating that information." On top of that the customer service rep's suggestion was to go through each hotel/resort until we find one that qualifies to use the credit as Snaptravel has no list of which hotels are eligible for using credits. Shortly after calling customer service we received a Facebook message from Snaptravel (***) stating "Our policy is to issue credits for the booking value, which you can use towards any booking made in the next 12 months." We are receiving conflicting information and the booking system will not allow us to use our credit. At this point we would like to be refunded so we can take our business elsewhere.

After looking into your reservation, it appears it was processed directly through one of our travel partners. To be transparent, we work with many travel partners to get you the best deals. For this particular travel partner, credits cannot be applied directly to the booking, but will instead be added back to your account upon checkout for a future stay. We appreciate your understanding.

I am rejecting this response because we attempted to book directly through Snaptravel and not through any travel partners they may have. We were told we'd be given a refund upon our original cancellation in March 2020 due to COVID-19 and instead offered credits. The original payment we made can't be used towards the bookings we've attempted to make through Snaptravel. You haven't addressed the issue at hand - being told you have policies through the phone restricting the use of credits (money we put towards a trip that was cancelled due to a pandemic) and being told we can use it on any booking through Facebook messenger. You have employees stating conflicting information and this is the primary issue. Information that is misleading through your employees and causing us to not be able to use money we've already spent for a booking.

If they can't be applied then the credits will immediately be applied back to the your account to be used for a future booking. In order to use your credits on a booking, we suggest making a different booking, one that is not through our travel partner. Apologies for the inconvenience caused.
