I absolutely love the entire staff at Sono Bello! They were extremely helpful from the beginning of my consultation to the end of my procedureDr.S*** was awesome, he personally called me the day after my procedure to check on me! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!

Prior to undergoing any procedures with Sono Bello they are required to review and sign numerous forms and consents that describe in detail what to expectTwo of those forms are title the recovery and comfort disclosure and a consent formThe recovery and comfort disclosure shows the data from
thousands of our patient that shows that they returned to work within days on average after having a procedureThe form states that the average will vary based upon the individualAll our patients also sign a consent, as was done in this case, that state the full results are not apparent until 3-months post procedure
Our operating room and professional nursing staff costs are very highWe do charge a fee for last minute cancellations which is acknowledged and signed before accepting any money from our patientsWe would never proceed with any treatment unless it is safe to do soIf a patient provided a doctor's note, or our doctors determine that proceeding with a procedure is no longer safe for the patient we will cancel that appointment and refund all fees. In this case the customer cancelled numerous appointments last minute and never provided any doctors note substantiating the claims
This complaint should be closed in favor of Sono BelloShould the patient have medical documentation now substantiating some of the claims in this concern we would graciously request they contact the Portland office directly to provide it for evaluation

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because I already provided a letter from my primary care physician dated Feb 4th, to Nicole B*** at SonoBello Portland Please see the email below to Nicole and the attached letter from my doctor at Kaiser
So, as you can see, SonoBello Portland was made aware of my skin condition and received the letter from my primary care physician to cancel the procedure I also phone Nicole B*** on Feb 4th to give her this information verbally and to reschedule the procedure but the harsh feedback she gave me regarding trying to reschedule (ie - that I would be charged an extra 10% above the $I already paid if I cancelled, and that DrS*** was the only one who could see me to determine if I should cancel and reschedule) made me decide to cancel the procedure all together I would think that a letter from my primary would trump anything that DrS*** could see/find, besides, I had already shown him the candida on my skin during our Feb2nd pre-surgery meeting
I do understand that there is a cost to SonoBello to set up the Feb4th surgery and cancelling that costs them money But, I did not expect my candida to flare up worse between the time I saw DrS*** on Feb2nd and Feb4th when I went to my primary care doctor to have a look Also, DrS*** encouraged me to see my primary and let SonoBello know the outcome, which I did
I strongly believe Sonobello should reimburse me the money I paid, since there is no service rendered

Attached please find the letter that my doctor from Kaiser Permanente wrote regarding my skin condition that DrKeith S*** was aware of and witnessed on Tuesday, February 2nd. This condition interferes with the Liposuction procedure I was planning on pursuing at your clinic and my Kaiser Drrecommends that I not proceed at this time.
Because of the lack of understanding about how this condition could impact the surgical procedure and the mistreatment I received from the Sono Bello staff when I called to cancel or reschedule my procedure, I have decided to completely cancel the liposuction procedure at Sono Bello
I expect to receive a full refund

The Dr was awesome!!! the staff was great and my results was more than what I expectedAt first I was a little spectacle, but after seeing my before and after photos I was amazedI'm can't wait for this summer to wear a 2piece bathing suit

Well first thing is when I had my surgery, I stayed with my daughter, she was so impressed that the Dr called and checked on me, it was multiple times normally it is the staff that does thatShe told me that when she would have work done to herself that she was going thereI was impressed on how they made me feel comfortableIt was not like you were in a Assembly lineOr that they had to do itThey made you feel important to themAnd I am very happy with my results I just had another surgery and I can already see how good it looksAll I can say is thank you guys for being so good at your job in every way

It was a very pleasant experience from start to finishThe consultation answered all questions I had about the procedureEveryone was so nice every time I went inThe procedure itself was greatWith the pills they gave me before and the numbing agent they gave me during the procedure I was completely relaxedEnough so that I actually feel asleep for about an hour or soAlthough the swelling takes time to go away I'm really happy with how I look nowI'm sure once all the swelling goes down I'll be even more impressedOver all I'm glad I went through with the procedure

To whom it may concern,
This patient signed many contracts and consents prior to being treated. Those consents clearly line out the possibilities and limitations of this procedure including but not limited the fact that results are not guaranteed and we do not offer post-procedure refunds under...

any circumstance. Furthermore, this patient also signed a HIGH BMI contract that states if the patient wants additional fat removed after the first surgery we will do so at an agreed upon discounted rate. Further that form states based upon the patients BMI that cosmetic results would not be as dramatic as that of a lower BMI person. We have copies of all signed forms available for inspection if needed.
The patients' procedures were performed without incident and were successful with a high volume of fat being removed and a cosmetic improvement. Subsequently this patient has gained additional weight post procedure which was noted at his 3 and 6 month post-op which negated the results.
The patients concerns regarding his skin contour that he refers to as lumps and bumps is a normal part of the healing process and most likely will improve over time.
This complaint should be closed in favor of Sono Bello as all services were rendered, positive results were delivered.

This type of procedure calls for a lot of contemplation before entrusting ones "face" to the hands of a surgeon! Dr. Westfield, the staff and the follow up care and support is one that I would highly recommend. I always felt that the staff was available and ready to address any concerns. Even the follow up email support of explaining how they would expect the recovery was a welcome reassurance. I am ever so pleased with the evolving "lift" that I am seeing. Thank you Dr. Westfield,. Thanks to all the staff!

Here are the facts and they are not disputable:
Fact - There is 1 contract (not many) with a small paragraph outlining several possibilities of this treatment.
Fact - This paragraph and the liabilities contained within it were never discussed with me prior to my procedure.
Fact - BMI is generic and not useful for someone like me. I lift weights regularly and have a larger amount of muscle. Body Fat percentage should be used; particularly by a profession that claims to remove unwanted fat.
Fact - There was not an agreed upon discounted rate for any follow up procedures. These were not discussed prior to my initial procedure.
Fact - I have lost a substantial amount of weight in the last 6 months and am now below the weight I was on the day after the procedure.
Fact - The weight I was at or am currently at (although lower as noted) has no bearing on the deformities and internal scarring mentioned in the complaint.
Fact - It has been 14 months since the procedure. I was repeatedly told that all internal scarring would be gone by the 1 year mark. Also, the term "will improve over time" is an arbitrary statement with no real meaning.
Fact - The internal scarring is still highly visible in the form of a large bulge on both sides of my stomach.
Fact - I did not refer to them as "lumps and bumps" as stated in the businesses rebuttal. That is strictly being stated by the business and is factual evidence that they are aware of the issue and have it noted somewhere within my file.
Those are the facts of this case. The complaint was based upon misleading advertising in their TV commercials. Nowhere in the businesses rebuttal did they address this issue. There are no warnings on the commercials stating potential liabilities of the procedure. This leads you to believe that there are none.
Minnesota Statue 325D.44 outlines "Deceptive Trade Practices". Subsection 4 deems "dececptive representations" as an act of deceptive trade. That appears to be the case with these commercials. Also, Subsection 7 deems an advertisement to be deceptive if it "represents that goods or services are of a particular standard, quality, or grade, or that goods are of a particular style or model". There is no representation of anyone with disfigurement in these ads leading one to believe that that outcome is not possible.
This case should absolutely not be closed in favor of Sono Bello. The business states that "positive results were delivered", however, the business itself notes that "lumps and bumps" are present. This cannot be deemed positive results.
Consumers beware; the before and after results that are shown on their advertising are misleading. You will not get the look you are expecting if you go to Sono Bello.

Went to my 3 month checkup this week and not only did I lose 32 pounds, but was amazed at my before and after pictures. The inches melted away and love my new figure. I'm very happy with my results so far, and only half way there, since it takes 6 months to see the final results. So far I went from a size 22 to a size 16. I want to thank the Sonobello staff for encouraging me to eat and drink healthy. Out of all people I thought I couldn't do it but, I surprised myself. I have come along way and will continue to work on myself everyday. Thank you Sonobello.

Staff very helpful and friendly. They are there throughout the process to ensure you and comfortable and relaxed.

The customer and Sono Bello have agreed to an amicable solution.

I am rejecting this response because: I understand that results are not typical.  I also reviewed the before and after pictures online as well as the pictures that are displayed in your office.  I also asked the sales model to show me additional pictures and she did.  She brought out pics that she said resemble my body and showed me the women's before and after.  I appreciate your discount of 1450$ However, I am not able to afford the additional amount of money especially if the results are the same as now.  Again, the sales model told me I would see a 75% reduction in my abdomen area, and again what I have is  a 1 inch loss in my waist.  My friends and family but most importantly I am not satisfied with my results and cant imagine paying another thousand or so dollars. I would like a refund or partial or refund or a redo to this procedure at no or very little cost to me.

Daisy is awesome she takes care of her clients. she is always so friendly. Vanessa at the front desk is also very friendly to everyone that comes in. These two ladies had made my experience with sonobello better than my procedures I have had
