I'm glad I got my money back on my card. But I still think it's a shame that I had to wait 4 months for this matter to be resolved. Sony makes really great products but they lack In customer service,they really need to address this issue.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: they refunded the money to their own internal account.  What makes them think that I ever want to spend another damn dime with them?  I want them to return the funds to the credit card that they stole the funds from.  I had never authorized any payments to Sony on that credit card, when I was signing up with them, they stated that they needed the credit card only to verify my identity.  This is pure BS.Sincerely,[redacted]

Most PlayStation 4s...

are repaired not exchanged. However, our service center reserves the right to exchange Mr. [redacted]'s PlayStation with a recertified replacement. Also, PlayStations are serviced and shipped to the consumer within three to five days from the delivery to the service center, not a month as stated in his complaint.

I want to know why a brand new item needs to be repaired? If I purchase any other consumer good that is defective the item would be replaced. If my item will be repaired in 3-5 days why are Sony Tech Support staff telling customers the turn around time is 3-4 weeks? I am currently out $350 on the system, $50 for their online service, $100+ on perennials for the system. I feel Sony shoukd refund my $350 purchase price and my $50 online service, so I can return the junk I purchased an buy another manufacturer's system, I feel Sony does not value it's customers with its unfair repair and return policy.

October 13, 2016 :  SNEA has helped the consumer.  They simply need to check their PlayStation® Network Account.
