Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: They didn't offer anything different than what I was told by the customer representative whom I contacted before filing a Revdex.com complaint. They insisted I should go buy another controller and try to get the system to work. Otherwise, I have to pay the 99 dollar service fee to have it fixed by Sony. Sincerely,[redacted]

Sony Interactive Entertainment of America, LLCTell us why here...
Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: The respondent stated, "[redacted] attachment is unrelated to the complaint we discussed. His request for a refund for digital content purchased in 2014 is denied as stated in our PlayStation Network Terms of Service; all sales are final." If the respondent carefully reviewed my response, he will see that I mentioned that the material that I included in my response was titled, "For historical purposes." I was using this as a reference, so his response is unrelated. It is clear that the respondent doesn't understand this type of text. The purpose of my response was to point out that the respondent's statement, "Please note that this response is not an admission," is clearly an example of how Sony is not taking ownership of their problems. Also, the respondent stated, "[redacted] attachment is unrelated to the complaint we discussed." In the respondent's initial response to this complaint, he never mentioned what we discussed. There isn't any proof of what we discussed, so his statement can not be substantiated. The respondent also needs to realize that he is communicating with a seasoned legal professional that wouldn't hesitate to file a small claims case in my state's magistrate court system because Sony is registered with my state's Secretary of State's Office as being a corporation in this state. My main concern with this complaint is Sony's customer service when dealing with this issues. A CEO that will not respond or delegate his email complaints, customer service reps that hang up on customers and other issues such as data breaches that compromised customers personal information. Sincerely,[redacted]

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/05/29) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I asked for a simple phone call and instead, I received an email that seemed like a rude, brushing off of the situation. I am not an unreasonable man, but I expect customer service when I deserve it. I work hard for my money and I expect people to whom I give money to do the same. If I treated a customer like I was treated, I would be fired. What it all boils down to is that I would like my complaint heard, then resolved. I don't wish to spend any more time emailing back and forth. It takes entirely too much time to email what could be conveyed in a 5 minute conversation.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Thank you for investigating and working to resolve my issue, deactivating consoles on my account. However, I am frustrated that my account is suspended for seven days due to accusations of sharing. What has been called sharing I have complained about as unauthorized access; I have not willingly shared my account with anyone. As stated in my original note, a party unknown to me accessed my PSN account, deactivated my PS4, activated their own console as primary and, it appears, downloaded and used my software licences without my consent. I assume this is what is viewed as 'sharing'. It is illogical that I reach out to Customer Service to have a console deactivated if I was sharing my account; I would have simply deactivated the PS4 on the 'shared' account. Since I do not know who improperly accessed my account, I had no option other than to reach out to Customer Support for assistance.I am being punished for someone else illegally accessing my PSN account. Since Sony has evidence of sharing, or as I have stated, illegally accessing my account, I would greatly appreciate that information to help determine who has accessed my account with the aim to prevent it from happening again. What worries me greatly is that by the time the suspension has ended, whoever accessed my account would do so again. For all my frustration, I do thank you for deactivating the console on my account.
Sincerely, [redacted]

SIEA actually provided [redacted] a refund shortly after speaking with him. After reviewing the Chat conversation we found that the agents were polite and professional with him. However, [redacted] was not professional and used excessive profanity during the conversation.
May 31, [redacted]: [redacted] was treated with respect by the agents even though they were not treated in the same manner. They attempted to explain the different indicators on the store showing the difference between a $[redacted] add-on content and the full game for $[redacted].

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
All I want is an apology for being mislead by your company. Since I first contacted your representatives all they've done is attempted to shift the blame to me. Then I received a call from a representative who spoke to me and insisted the whole situation was my fault. Every single representative I spoke to was communicating in a belittling manner. Is that your customer service model? Push people to a breaking point and then say the consumer isn't complying to our harassment so we're clearly the good guys. Your doing it still. You refuse to apologize, you refuse to acknowledge that something on your online store could be construed as misleading. Thousands of dollars spent on your company over the years and this is how they treat you.
Sincerely,[redacted]
