Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
My son and I tried to get these automatic drafts to stop a long time ago. We called and were assured that the auto renewal would be stopped. This company continued to draft $17.99, three more times after we were told it would not happen again. I want the $71.96 refunded as I never agreed to pay for a year's worth of their services. Especially since I made measures to cancel the services.
Sincerely,[redacted]

Thank you for contacting Sony Interactive Entertainment of America, LLC (SIEA) regarding the above-reference Revdex.com case# [redacted].

SIEA contacted the consumer and further explained why the decision was made as it was.

May 3, 2017: [redacted] has contradicting stories about the PlayStation® Plus voucher.  Initially he stated that he had purchased a 1 year PS+ membership. He mentioned that he did try to sell it on ebay but then the seller canceled the transaction and wanted to know if he can file a fraud report.  Later he Chatted that the code was a gift and that he did not need the code because he no longer had a console.  In regards to a fraud case he would need to consult with ebay.  The confusing part is the fact that he fist said he had purchased the voucher and then tried to sell it on ebay. But then he came back on another Chat conversation and said it was a gift and did not have a console.  So why is there such a contradiction and why would he purchase the voucher when he didn't have a console?  Based on this data we will not be able to provide him a replacement code especially since it was already redeemed on his PSN Account.

SIEA appreciates the opportunity to address this matter.

They called me and said they would refund one of the warranties since I double purchased (Again, because I didn't know that the accidental damage warranty would cover manufacturer defects as well). They also said that they received the receipt from Walmart and see that I bought the system on December 11th 2013, so they went ahead and processed the service claim under the extended accidental damage warranty.
Thank you so much for helping me on this issue!

[redacted] accepted an accommodation voucher to purchase Minecraft on the PlayStation Network.  As services were rendered (and she authorized payment for service) her request for a service refund is denied.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: In my complaint I already addressed when they were offering refunds to, and that was unacceptable to me. Rather than actually reading and responding to my complaint they issue a blanket carbon response as though they didn't even read the complaint or my desired solution. As far as consumer support and protection goes that's ridiculous to me. It pretty much guarantees I lose all faith in [redacted] ever protecting their consumers, and in the future I will actively discourage everyone I meet from supporting [redacted] products of this type and I will encourage them to choose another console that WILL protect their consumers from scams like this rather than hiding behind a half measure and "its not our fault" logic. As far as I'm concerned [redacted] profited immensely from this scam of a game and rather than owning up to it being a scam and making restitutions for all the victims they're doing a half measure to keep a massive portion of those profits. Whereas [redacted] and certain countries of [redacted] are saying hey, this isn't right and fixing it SCEA is just pulling this crap. I used to be an ardent believer in [redacted] being a much better company than [redacted] that cared about the gamers and this incident has proven me wrong.Sincerely,[redacted]

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I still cannot access any of the $1000+ worth of games that I lost when they shut down my PlayStation Network account, and Sony will not give me a reason. I did not break any of their rules or terms of services. They will not tell me anything clearly, or explained what happened. They took away years worth of digital content for no reason, and refuse to tell me why.
