consumer several times by phone and one time by email to discuss her tire concerns and to explain our warranty (All Michelin tires have a Standard Manufacturer's Limited Warranty, which covers defects in workmanship and materials for the life of the original usable tread, or for 6 years from date of purchase, whichever occurs first). The Michelin [redacted] comes with a limited tread warranty for 60,000 miles, provided the tires are rotated every 6-8,000 miles. Also, under the limited mileage warranty, if the consumer does not reach the mileage, the tires are pro rated into Michelin, [redacted] or [redacted] Based on the case notes on file, [redacted] with [redacted] Auto Center contacted us and provided a complete inspection on the consumer's tires. This inspection results revealed that Mrs. [redacted] tires had irregular wear which voids the 6 year warranty ( Feathering or cupped wear is a condition where the edge of each tread rib develops a slightly rounded edge on one side and a sharp edge on the other. The most common causes of feathering are incorrect alignment settings or mechanical issues with the vehicle). On February 2, 2016, the consumer advised our representative the she replaced her tires with competitor's tires, non Michelin products. We received your second email regarding Mr. [redacted] and
appreciate the opportunity to respond. 
 
We would like to reiterate that a 33% credit towards
Michelin replacement tires has been authorized by Michelin for Mr. [redacted].
This offer was originally made on 8/22/17 and to be held open for 14 days
after. We will extend this an additional 14 days (expires 9/19/17) in light of
any confusions. We spoke to Holly at [redacted] Toyota and she is aware of the
offer made and willing to process the warranty claim accordingly for Mr.
[redacted].
 
If confusions, concerns or frustrations persist we would like to
extend a second option for Mr. [redacted]. We are willing to reimburse Mr.
[redacted]
the offered 33% credit if he simply purchases the replacement Michelin tires up
front. This would be a direct reimbursement to Mr. [redacted] and the credit would
be on the tire cost alone. Mr. [redacted] can fax a copy of his invoice to
1-864-[redacted] in order for us to review, document, calculate the appropriate
reimbursement amount and request a check to be sent.

[redacted]                               Revdex.com ID# [redacted] Michelin File # [redacted] Dear Cindy, We received your email regarding Ms. [redacted]’s complaint and appreciate the opportunity to respond.  The BFGoodrich mileage warranty for the rear tires on a split fitment (different size tires on front and rear) is 50% of the standard mileage warranty.  The BFG g-Force Comp-2 A/S is covered by a 45,000 mileage warranty.  Therefore, the mileage warranty on the rear tires is 22,500 miles.
