Review: I received an item per Order#[redacted]-XXXXXXX on 10/**/14. The item was returned in the original packaging confirmed date 10/**/14 as it was not as seemed when viewed/purchased online. I have not been refunded for this returned item to date. I cannot get a customer service response upon dialing their [redacted] number 9:00am - 5:00pm EST M-F. This is my first bad experience with Spiegel, since they fully overtook [redacted](fashion for women).Desired Settlement: I expect a full refund as initially called out on the invoice and product Return Authorization Slip, in the amount of $60.77. This amount of $60.77 was credited and payable through my bank account as of October *, 2014.

Review: I made a $34.50 purchase on 4-[redacted]14. I returned the item on 5-*-14 for a refund, because it did not fit. I have not received a refund as of yet. I have e mailed twice and received responses that it is being looked into and will be resolved shortly. I have called several phone numbers and been on hold 40 minutes or more, with no answer.Desired Settlement: I would like $24.00 refunded to my credit card.

Review: A refund for items returned.

I placed order # [redacted] on 6/**/11 retrieved the item which did not fit properly. I returned the item with-in 24 hours of receipt and have not received a refund to date. I have contacted the company 4 times with no resolution. I have tried calling the company and have not been able to speak with anyone regarding the expected refund.Desired Settlement: $20.59 should be refunded

Review: Credit was promised but not issued for returned merchandise.

Order #[redacted] was placed on 3/**/14. The order consisted of 6 items. 5 of the items were returned and received at the return facility in [redacted] on 3/**/14. Case #[redacted] was assigned and a refund promised on 4/**/14 by Spiegel Customer Service. I have made several attempts to contact the company via phone and email. All attempts have been unsuccessful. The credit due is approximately $100.00.Desired Settlement: I am due approximately $100.00 for the items returned; I am therefore requesting a check be mailed to the same address the merchandise was shipped to: [redacted]

Review: On February **, 2014 I placed an order for items sold at Spiegel online. I received the items on March *, and was very displeased with the quality of all three items. I returned the items via US Postal Service on March [redacted], making sure that the address on the label was correct as well as including the required return label. I allowed ten days for receipt of the items, although I paid for two day shipping. I saw no refund credited back to my account. I then emailed customer service inquiring if the items were received, and if so, when I could expect my refund. I did not receive a response. It took a total of three emails to finally get the automated response that stated that someone would be looking into this matter and get back to me. This response was provided on March *. I then received no email or refund on the returned items. I again sent a series of emails to Spiegel requesting my refund or status update. Again I received an email on March ** stating that again they were looking into the matter and a resolution would be forthcoming.

This issue has taken almost 25 days to be resolved and my refund issued. I am in need of my refund as soon as possible, as I have many unexpected bills that have come in. I have another item that I will be sending back and hope that it will not take as long to have my account credited.

I have now learned my lesson and will no longer to business with Spiegel. How you maintain a business and not provide customer service to consumers baffles me to no end. I wish I would have contacted the Revdex.com first before ordering, but I did not realize that Spiegel handled their business this way. Spiegel has always had an impeccable reputation. I see now that this is no longer the case.

I hope that you will assist me in receiving my refund as soon as possible. I am also requesting what I paid to send these items back, as they charged me shipping and handling to deliver it to me. I have ordered from numerous mail order companies and have never had any problems with refunds. As soon as the items are delivered back your account is refunded, in addition to your shipping and handling cost.

Revdex.com, you really should cite this company for these types of practices, as one should not have to go through this to receive what is owed to them.

Again, I appreciate your assistance in this matter.Desired Settlement: I would like my total refund amount of $73.99 (shipping and handling included) to be credited back to my account as soon as possible.

Spiegel contacted me via email with what appeared to be their general email indicating they were looking into the matter and it would be resolved. This was dated on April *. At this time I have not received any correspondences back or resolution. I have two refunds which I have not received. This whole ordeal has taken over two months to have my refund forwarded back to my account.

This company should not be allowed to operate this way. Not only do they not have a contact number where customers can contact them but they do not readily refund customers what is rightfully due to them. Even with your involvement in this matter they still continue to be non compliant in resolving issues pertaining to refund. I have sent the numerous complaints on individuals with matters similar to mine. I just wished I was aware when placing these orders about how Spiegel did business.

I am requesting my total refund in addition to my shipping and handling costs I incurred when sending the items back. They should not be allowed to charge customers twice for these costs. I paid to have both items shipped and paid to ship them back.

I have never had to fight to have money refunded back to me, as most online companies refund with no hesitation, and also provide a telephone number in the event of questions needing a quick reply.

I hope that you will please act on my behalf, as I am now unemployed and in real need of my refund.

Review: In December I ordered merchandise from Spiegel and I was told it was stolen in a robbery of the FedEx delivery person. A police report was filed by FedEx and I have been e-mailing both parties since December and it hasn't been resolved.Desired Settlement: I would rather have had the merchandise but was told by Spiegel that FedEx was responsible for refunding me.

Review: I have emailed several times requesting information regarding a return made in 12/**/2013. I receive an email back requesting an invoice number and sent it in. I did not hear anything for two more weeks and sent another email. Each of these emails resulted in a case number. Review: I placed an internet order with Spiegel 7/*/14 for the amount of $58.72. I returned my order on 7/**/14 via USPS. To date, I have not received my refund. I sent 2 emails to Spiegel customer service on 8/**/14 and 8/**/14. In their reply email, it stated that my case was open and that someone would contact me with a resolution. I have NOT been called. Review: Hello. This is regarding an unresolved Spiegel LLC return/refund, Spiegel Case #[redacted] for Order [redacted].

I purchased 2 pieces of clothing from [redacted] on 4/*/14. I subsequently returned the clothes (size too big) using UPS ground for arrival on approximately 4/**/14.

I checked with Spiegel Customer Service via email (they have no contact phone number) on 5/**/14 to confirm they received the return and to ask when I would receive my refund. The Customer Service email said "the refund request would be completed in the next few business weeks". I have never received the refund.

I sent another email to the last response mentioned above July * but received no response.

I opened a new case via their website instructions on July **, also with no response.

I know it's not very much money but I've never had this happen with a retailer who used to be very reputable. I've since read many instances online with the same complaint. I don't know how it's legal for them to hold money for returned merchandise for months at a time?!Desired Settlement: Refund of money for purchased & returned merchandise. (Too bad I can't get any shipping costs back too....)

Review: The following message was emailed several times to Spiegal, LLC. customer service. Email was returned "UNDELIVERABLE": I returned a DEFECTIVE item back to your "questionable" company and although I was surprised that I even received credit for the return, I was only credited $9.00 for the item. The purchased price was $25.00, again it was a damaged item, a complete, what I would describe as, a rag and not would consider a piece of clothing. There was a large stripe of dye done the back of the cardigan and was the cheepest material I ever saw in a piece of clothing. I expect the additional money charged for this item refunded back to my credit card. Also, I would like to inquire about the method of contacting your customer service. I do not understand why there is no contact via phone and why, when emailing in the past, every email was returned in error. I find this to be very unethical. In any event, I would like this issue resolved quickly and would hope I receive a response.Desired Settlement: $16.00

Review: I purchased an item on 12/**/13 for 78.14, received it on 12/**/13 and returned within a week. Spiegel return policy states to wait two (2) billing cycles to see a credit on the account. I waited and no amount was credited, and after an strenuous search for a customer service number (none was listed on the website or anywhere), I called to check on the status of my refund. I found several numbers and I called them all. With some numbers I got a busy signal at all times and some were disconnected. I also sent an e-mail to customer service and received one back stating "case opened". The worse is that I am paying my credit card for something that I don't have. I called the CC company to ask if I can stop paying since the item was returned and I was told to keep paying otherwise they will report a negative rating to my credit report.Desired Settlement: I'd like a refund as soon as possible

Review: I placed an order on ** March, 2015 for clothing items from Spiegel.com. The order was for $63.82 and charged to my Visa credit card on ** April, 2015.I had not received the product so on ** April, 2015, I followed up with an email asking when my products would be delivered. I received an email stating they would arrive between * April - * April, 2015. They finally arrived the last week of April.When I received the clothing items they did not fit, so I returned the items on * May 2015 per the return instructions provided with the product. Return shipping cost me $14.70 and they received the items on * May, 2015.With no refund received, I followed up with an email ** May, 2015 with a status on my refund. A customer representative responded on ** May, 2015 asking which items were returned. I responded back with a description that every item ordered was returned. Review: I bought two items online and returned them. I have been waiting two months for the refund. On * May 2014 I returned 3 items to Speigel because they were to big. I received acknowledgement that they had received the items and would issue a credit within a few business weeks from June **, 2014. Review: I purchased items from Spiegel.com In # [redacted] and [redacted]. I made returns to Spiegel via US Postal Service which was delivered back to Spiegel on December **,2013 . I have contacted customer service via email adress as there is no other way to contact them on four different occassions to verify if my return had been received . Review: I placed an online order in late Feb, it did not show up when the tracking said it was delivered so I emailed customer service (no phone number available). Charlotte responded "We are sorry for this inconvenience. Please call your local Post Office and see if they have your package." This is a red flag, poor customer service/follow up on their part. The package was delivered to me on March [redacted], it was being held at my apt manager's office. I contacted customer service on March [redacted] to let them know I would be returning two items and requested a refund. The return was received the following week and I waited for my refund... I emailed customer service to inquire about the refund on April [redacted] and was told by an anonymous rep that "The requested refund will be completed within the next business week." Still no refund. I emailed yet again on April [redacted] and received no response. I emailed a third time to inquire about the refund on May [redacted] and again received no response. Review: I'm really disappointed with the customer service - and really lack there of - that Spiegel's is offering as of late. I have no issue with a company operating mainly online. However, all businesses should and need a customer service PHONE NUMBER when issues arise. A business cannot communicate with customers solely via email, as my experience with their company thus far has made that very clear. I have yet to receive a response to my emails regarding the issue with my order.

The background of my complaint is as followed: The two dresses in this ordered I sent back to receive a refund, as they did not fit my mother. When I reviewed my credit card statement to see if the refund had been processed, I noticed I only received a credit for $24.65 (on 9/**/13) when it should have been twice the amount. Then a few days later, I received another shipment of the same dresses.Desired Settlement: I do not not wish to keep the most recent shipment of dresses. So I am sending them back, without even opening the package. However I want to receive an additional credit for/ about $25 for the second dress I original sent back. And at this point, I believe I should receive a credit for shipping as well being I had to pay the expense for the original order to be shipped to me, as well as when I returned the order the first time.

Review: I bought a pair a pants and top from this company online and at no time when buying the items online does it tell you that you can't exchange or refund.
