CUSTOMER BEWARE!!!!!!!! I RETURNED ITEMS VALUED OVER $100 AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED EITHER A REFUND NOR ANY NEWS ABOUT IT. THIS HAPPENED IN ABOUT JUNE OF 2014 AND I HAVE WRITTEN ALMOST 20 EMAILS TO THESE PEOPLE WITH NO SUCCESS. Review: On 10/**/2013 I placed an online order to Spiegel for four (4) sleeveless sweaters. I received the sweaters sometime later via Fedex but after viewing the sweaters I chose to return them via USPS (insured and tracked). The package was mailed and was received by a Spiegel location in [redacted] on Nov. **, 2013. I was credited with a total of 19.00 only and after calling to inquire as to why I had never recieved a bill it was discovered that my mailing address had been changed back to m OLD Texas address from 2.5 years prior. (?) I received my credit card at my current location so how my address reverted back to my old Texas address remains a mystery; meanwhile the CSR put in a request for inquiry as to where my missing package was. (?) This is suppose to suspend and further charges from accumulating while Spiegel finds my missing sweaters. I have contacted customer service three different times via email and provided them with all of the order numbers etc and they have completely stopped responding all together now. Still no correct missing package nor has my account balance been corrected. Still shows I owe $ 74.00 not $ 19.00 like it should be.Desired Settlement: Refund the remaining difference of $ 55.00 plus any outstanding interest and late fees that have accured since 10/**/2013 which was the initial order date for the sweaters. Then close my account per the consumers request and immediately report to all three credit agencies that this account has been paid in full and closed at the consumers request.

On 12/*/2013 I recieved a letter from Spiegel notifying me that the case was under investigation and that a provisional credit of $61.39 could be issued back to my credit card once the investigation has been completed which could take 60 days.

I have not heard anything from them since.

Review: Spiegel shipped me a dress on 1/**/14 & I returned it on 2/*/14 due to size for a refund. Refund never received. All credit card info still correct.

Speigel shipped me a "Pamella dress" style X2332 on 1/**/14 Ord#[redacted]. I sent back on 2/*/14 for a refund on my credit card used to purchase. Never received. Contacted Speigel 4/**/14, 6/*/14 & 7/*/14 via email & phone regarding refund. Still not received.Desired Settlement: Refund the credit card I used to purchase the dress the $29.18 I am owed.

Review: Spiegel order # [redacted] was delivered as requested by 3/**/14.

I returned the following items based on the instructions shown in their return policy on their website: [redacted].

The returned items were delivered to Spiegel Returns Department West Logistics [redacted], the address provided on the company's website, by 3/**/14 at 10:38am which I have proof of when/if needed. Per the company's return policy a refund should have been processed, at the latest, by 5/**/14. The items were returned within a couple days of receipt and well within the 45 day period stated that a full refund would be given. When a refund was not processed I contacted the customer service email address ([redacted]: as the only means of contact listed on the website) on 5/**/14. I received a form email back stating a case was opened. When nothing happened by 6/*/14 I emailed again but received no answer. I submitted my request for the status of the refund again on 7/**/14 and received the same form email I received previously that a case has been opened. At this point I have no other alternative but to begin the process to legally collect the refund owed for the returned items.Desired Settlement: Please provide the full refund for the items returned.

Review: I placed an order online in February 2014. I returned 3 of the 4 items. The order # is [redacted]. The return should total $74. I returned the items by USPS with a Signature Confirmation. They received my return on 3/**/14 at 2:09 PM. Their return policy is to wait 3 billing cycles on your credit card for the refund. I waited 3 weeks after the 3 billing cycles but received no refund. I emailed them on 6/*/14, they responded on 6/* 14 stating I would receive my refund "in the next few business weeks". A few is 3, that would be 6/**/14. I went to the email and clicked on update. The case is closed, it doesn't say when they closed it, but I still have no refund. They assigned case # [redacted]. I believe 3 1/2 months is ridiculous to wait for a refund and I would never buy from them again.Desired Settlement: An immediate refund in the form of a check sent to my home.

I ordered clothing and was charged on my credit card Feb **, 2014. I did not like the way it fit so I returned the items on March *, 2014. I tracked the items and it was received in Goldsboro, NC on March, *, 2014. Review: I made two purchases with Spiegel. I returned a portion of both. Dates of purchase: 3/**/14 & 3/**/14. I followed their return policy and have never received a refund. Phone calls are not answered. Finally an email was received from the company in July indicating a refund would be made within 2 weeks.

Review: I ordered several products from Spiegel in April for a total of $148.49. All of the items I purchased were horrible quality and needed to be returned. On 04/**/14, I emailed Spiegel to request a return authorization # to return the order. On 04/**/14, I received their response with instructions for returning the order. Their email stated the following: "Please allow up to 2 weeks. It takes up to 2 weeks for us to receive and process your return." The items were shipped that week; however, I have still not received the refund from Spiegel. There is no phone number to contact them; there is simply an email address which auto- returns a generic response, stating: "Your request for assistance has been received and we will contact you shortly with a resolution. Your request has been assigned. Thank you for choosing Spiegel. Sincerely, Customer Service Department Spiegel, LLC Monday- Friday 9am-5pm EST." I emailed them on 06/**/14, 06/**/14 and 07/**/14 requesting an update to the status of my refund. On 07/**/14, I received an email back asking for my order number for a refund. I replied back with the information 10 minutes later. I then received an email the next day, 07/**/14, stating that "The requested refund will be completed within the next couple of business weeks. Thank you for your patience." This is completely unacceptable. Their policy is to refund within 2 weeks. The items were returned the beginning of May. It is now over two months and after all of my communications with them, they respond that it will be completed within "the next couple of business weeks"???? I would appreciate the Revdex.com's intervention re: this issue. Thank you!Desired Settlement: My desired outcome is a full refund of $148.49, within 7 days, on the credit card used to purchase the items.

Review: I purchased a $200 gift card and was not able to use it. I ordered several things that were "in stock," but I was later notified that they were no longer available. I was just informed recently that Spiegel filed bankruptcy. I should have been listed as a creditor and receive notification, which I did NOT.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund. Even though Spiegel is still doing business and has some inventory, I have been told that my gift card would not be honored.

Review: Returned items per their instructions over 60 days ago and have not received a refund or response to my inquiries to customer service about the status of my return. The customer service number listed on the general web does not work and the company website does not provide any contact information besides a physical address and email addresses. Review: Date February *, 2015Price 30.20I placed an order online from Spiegel on February * and received an confirmation email stating that the order would be shipped received in three days.When I did not receive my order I tried emailing Spiegel and attempted to call them, but was not able to find a phone number on their website.After a few weeks, I contact a TV trouble shooter and he emailed them and asked why there phone was saying this number is no longer in service. They reply that there number is in service and I should be able to call them. Needless to say I was not. So then, the trouble shooter contacted their public relation dept and the next day I received a call from someone named Susan at this number ###-###-####. who told me she was sorry for my trouble and that I would receive my refund and that the order had been cancelled due to the item out out stock. I have not heard from them order received a refund. If you go online to their website the same item is still on their website and they have now added Spring and Summer clothes to their web.I have had this happen to me before with another company that ended in a chapter 7 bankrupt. If this is the case with Spiegel, why are they still taking orders and not sending the items out. Good customer service seems to become worst than ever.Desired Settlement: I would like my refund to be issued right away and for Spiegel to stop accepting orders if they are involved in a restructure or chapter 7.

Review: I ordered 2 bathing suits at the beginning of June and I returned them a short time later requesting a refund. They have no phone number to contact them and only gives you an email address to send any complaints or questions to which they DO NOT respond. I finally contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges and they have been great! I would NOT purchase anything from Spiegel again. I feel they are a company that is rapidly declining and wouldn't refund a penny if they could get away with it.Desired Settlement: My credit card company is now dealing with this so my desired outcome would have to be to have them pay back Citi Bank and do the right thing.

Review: On 07-**-2014, I purchased 3 dresses from the Spiegel website (Order #[redacted]) , and due to poor quality and fit of the items. I contacted Customer Service via email on 07-**-2014 to confirm return details and get a RMA number. "[redacted]" responded via email on 07-**-2014 stating that I did not need an RMA number and to return all items via the Return instructions on the website. I returned all items via USPS with tracking on 07-**-2014, and the items were delivered on 07-**-2014 to Spiegel Returns Department West Logistics [redacted] per the website instructions.

The website claims that "credit card adjustments should appear within 30 days of processing your return." I have not received a return credit as of 08-**-2014 after contacting Customer Service via email three times with no response. I found a phone number (###-###-####) for Spiegel; however, that number is always busy after calling several times each day for three days.Desired Settlement: I expect the entire refund to be credited to my Visa immediately, including shipping, for a grand total of $68.71 ($58 for items plus 10.71 for S&H). I spent $8 on return shipping that should be refunded due to the significant delay on my refund; however, I will not fight over this. Spiegel should be shut down due to the numerous complaints I see on the Revdex.com site.

Review: I made an on-line purchase from Spiegel in February. In early March, I contacted their Customer Service department to inquire about making a return of both items. After following up, they indicated that the main Spiegel site provides adequate instruction, but I pressed further asking for an RMA process or something with teeth, since the web site detail was rather loose. No further info was offered, so I packaged my items and sent them USPS with a tracking number. It is now July and any attempts to reach Customer Service on line or via phone have been unsuccessful. Talk about throwing good money after bad. Spiegel's shipping fees are outlandish to begin with, then I had to pay to send back the merchandise which appears to be unaccounted for. So now I am without the items and a good $15 plus in shipping fees. I see that many complaints against Spiegel have to do with returned items not credited. Someone needs to get underneath this... this practice is unconscionable.

Review: I ordered a coat from Spiegel on December **, 2013. I returned this coat on December **,2013 and it was received in their warehouse on January *, 2014. I have not received a credit on my credit card or a refund check. I have tried numerous time to contact them through email to no avail. This item was ordered online and they do not have a phone number listed on their website.Desired Settlement: I would like to get my deserved refund of $20.00 for the item purchased.

Review: I have been a regular customer of [redacted], associated with [redacted]. They have frequent problems with their website. Sometimes the screen is blank and won't show products when using [redacted], sometimes the site does not discount according to the email ads, and from time to time the site will not show normal behavior when you make a purchase, thus making you think the sale did not go through.On two of these latter instances, I submitted what turned out to be duplicate orders--the most recent was this week. Once I realized it, I contacted them via email asking them to delete one of the orders before processing. Even though the site says the order is "processing", when I finally get a response, they tell me that it is too late and send me information to return the duplicate product.As it turns out, these returns are never refunded. They do not provide customers with a phone number: the phone number I finally found (###-###-####) cuts off after telling you to contact their customer service ([redacted]). Again, delayed or rare responses to that email address, but a response basically thanks you for contacting them.Besides these two duplicate orders, one order I received had one item missing. I sent email to ask for a refund. They responded (eventually) telling me that they had been very busy and would process my refund shortly.I am due approximately $60 in refunds at this point. I plan to remove myself from their email list, but in searching for a way to get in touch with them, I came upon a site called [redacted] which is a site designed to help you get in touch with customer service organizations. This site had a long list of customer complaints about [redacted] that said the same thing I am saying.[redacted] has been around for years and used to have a very good reputation.I'd like to ensure that others don't experience the frustration and disappointment that I have suffered.
