SPRINT is the worst customer service provider of any type that I have ever worked with. They will charge fees that are not valid and absolutely refuse to help you resolve them. When you call to work it out they hang up on you, transfer you to a number that doesn't answer, give you a non-working number to call, and put you on hold for an hour and never come back. They effectively HIJACK their customers and hold them to a one sided contract, knowing that if you cancel a payment they will stop your service and damage your credit rating. Pay a little extra for Verizon or any other honest company and save yourself hours of frustration. Honestly, SPRINT is where the consumer has no rights!

Sprint is a waste of time. After spending much time on the phone narrowing down a plan, driving across town to the store, spending an hour in the store, ordering a new iphone, coming back days later to set up my new plan and get my new phone, they denied me due to security questions. Yes, I know the questions are public record, I get it. They denied me twice in a row. The first time they denied me is because I thought my ex wifes car was a 2004 when it is a 2006. I tried to correct it but too late. The 2nd set of questions was 100% correct. I know the city I have lived in. I know the address I live at. I know my ex wifes age- which they only needed a 3 year range, I know what color the only ford ranger I owned was, I know I never live at an out of state address. I called equifax while in the store to discuss this matter and I answered them ALL correctly to access my account. I told the Equifax agent what has happened and he asked me the same bulk of questions before accessing my account so I can see if I get access. I did and was told I had them correct. I am a human being!! I am standing in the store! I have birth certificate, DL, SS Card, Government ID, Military ID and Passport but because I screwed up on a year of some car my ex wife bought while I was serving overseas...which I corrected, I get screwed and hours of driving back and forth, ordering a phone, trying to get this fixed was a complete waste! I know the 2nd batch of questions were correct and proved it. Then customer service was nearly impossible to reach. Then while speaking to the agent I hear 2Pac "Dear Mama" blasting in the backgroun! I thought I dialed a scam number in accident so while talking to agent I google the number I dialed, yep it was indeed sprint, classy. Sprint told me I can try again in 60 days. I need a phone now and have been patiently waiting for the phone I ordered and my current phone is damaged. I can own multiple companies, hire a 100 employees, play the lottery, buy alcohol, buy firearms, buy 2 homes, buy new cars, apply for credit cards, apply for cash loans, run for president and answer all security questions with the credit company directly..,.I just cant get a phone with Sprint. What a complete waste of time this company is. Even if somehow the records didnt match, there needs to be another way to verify identity of a person and I can think of multiple ways.
Oh, how could I forget. They are so worried about verifying credit information in an attempt to avoid fraud, but they asked me my SSN outloud in front a store full of people waiting behind me. Once I got on their sprint store phone to answer the security wuestions they once again asked me to tell them my SS Number, full name, address and date of birth, right in front of a bunch of Random strangers. It appears they worry about what looks good on papers for insurance purposes but not actually security. So the iphone I had ti order has now been given away to the next person asking for an iphone8 and I now may have had my information stolen from me by a random person standing there while I had to give out all my private information, twice!

I currently have an account with your company and am contacting you in reference to an unfortunate incident with your company that I experienced last weekend. Last September (September 19, 2016 to be exact) I updated by phone through a partner program that your company has with Best Buy Mobile. While updating my phone I was very clear that I had the iPhone Forever incentive with Sprint (the 18 month lease with the option to upgrade after 12 months) and wanted to keep the same program moving forward. I made sure I clarified whit several times, and the associate assured me that I would maintain that program and be able to upgrade in 12 months.
On last Friday (September 22, 2017) I went into the Spring Store in Dobbin Center (Columbia, MD) and was informed that I was not eligible for an upgrade due to the fact that I have a 24 month installment plan instead of the 18 month lease. I was also informed that if I wanted to terminate the lease I would have to pay the $349 balance left on the installment plan. I then called Sprint and spoke with a representative who informed me that I would need to go back to the store I purchased the phone from to switch to the 18 month lease retroactively. After speaking with management at the Best Buy that I purchased the phone from, they informed me that they cannot access contracts past 14 days after the upgrade is processed and to contact Sprint. I spoke with Sprint again via phone call, and after being transferred to 4 different people I was informed by Steven in Retention that I should still be able to return the phone and terminate the installment plans with no balance and start a new lease program.
Again, I went to the store in Dobbin Center on Sunday and explained to them the conversation that transpired between the Retention Department and myself. Again, I was informed that there was nothing that could be done on the store's end because the balance could not be cleared. I called retention again and was informed by another representative that there was nothing that can be done.
I have been a loyal customer for over 5 years, and am extremely confused as to why nothing can be done. I understand that there was an error on Best Buy's part, but the main issues that I am running into are:
1. If I upgrade my phone every 12 months how was I as a customer supposed to know that what I signed up for was incorrect? Especially if I set a clear expectation and was ensured that the expectation set was being matched?
2. Why was there no clarity from the initial customer service representatives that I spoke with in reference to what could be done?
3. Why is there apparently no one in this company that can reverse this process to ensure that I can go back to the plan that I originally had?
I am deeply upset and perplexed by the lack of customer care or concern displayed by your company and would like for someone to reach out to me at your earliest convenience.
