Sprint Now Part of T-Mobile Reviews (%countItem)

I am a Sprint stockholder and customer of over 17 years, but I have reached my tolerance level for the subpar service Sprint offers customers. When I tried to add more lines, I called and visited the store several times because I kept being given erroneous information.
First, the representative offered me a plan that gave me two "free" phones, if I would add two lines (I didn't need) to my account. Then she wouldn't put the order through because I wouldn't immediately sign the Sprint agreement for the "free" phones. When I stressed several times that Sprint gave me a few days to read it, and insisted she transfer me, she said the order department just closed (while she was trying to force me to sign what I had not read). The next day, I read the agreement which said nothing about a "free" phone or a credit for the phones!
Second, I call Sprint and the next representative said that I would not get anything in writing that says Sprint would credit me the monthly phone charge, as the first representative stated. So, if I had signed, I would have been on the hook for paying two years for phones I did not ask for in the first place,. She cancelled the new phones and put me on a promotional deal using my old phones. However, the next week I noticed my account wasn't correct and I ended up speaking to two more representatives to get my one service request correct.
Each representative claimed they put me on a promotion, but the actual charges were higher. What amazed is that each one I spoke with said the previous representative did not do something right!
Today was the final straw when I asked the new Chatbot about my Sprint tablet plan. I asked for my contract expiration date, and two chat transfers, several minutes, and two live agents later I was told I had to call to be given the date!?! Trying to reach Sprint customer service is like trying to get into Fort Know.
Sprint, I am sick of your lack of concern for your customers, average phone service, and callous representatives.

I have been a sprint customer for almost a year now, since switching from Verizon. Overall sprint's call quality is not as good as Verizon, as I do drop calls, but the overall quality sprint offers is good, especially for unlimited service. However, after almost a year of paying for my phone and the insurance along with it, I was finally in need of sprint's phone repair service. My phone had received a crack too severe for the phone to handle and the screen no longer worked. When I came to pay my insurance deductible and get a new phone, I found that Sprint has the worst quality of phone repair service I have ever heard of. You have to give them your phone and you do not receive you new one for 7 DAYS!. In 2018, overnighting phones is simple and reasonable to give to your customers. I know that other cell phone carriers overnight new phones for their paying customers. The website says they have loaner phones available at the store to ease this absurd time frame, however that is simply not true and they falsely advertise this. Currently I have no phone, with no discount on my bill whatsoever. 7 days (1 week) is a significant amount of time out of my monthly bill, where I receive no service, but get no discount for this inconvenience. Clearly sprint does not see a need to promptly give their customers the products that they sell and that the customer pays for, in a timely manner. I use my phone for work and I am going on vacation in a few days. I will be doing both without a phone clearly.

I am extremely disappointed in how sprint has turned out. After being a customer for twenty years, we had an issue with a phone they sent us, and they refused to help in any way. They were rude, dishonest, and when I tried to change my phone number over to another company, they refused to release my number, wouldn't approve my pin (which I had texted to me, so I know I was giving the correct one) I had to buy all new phones, and start over because dealing with this company any longer is not worth the headache. I will warn anyone to stay away from Sprint, they have no respect for their loyal customers, are only about reeling new customers in, so that they can screw them in the end. Beware!

Sprint's customer service is really horrendous. I've been a customer for about 12 years and they do not have a cohesive or appropriate manner in handling customer needs. It's always the run around with nonsense and saying they can't apply credits until you get so angry for being unfairly charged that I've had to threaten to leave just to get them not to charge me something I didn't owe! I'm ready to move to Verizon or AT&T, I've heard Verizon customer service is better and it's worth it for avoiding the headache!

I tried sprint after not having them for at least a decade and that was a very bad decision. Sprint have added a small clause to their contract saying that any final balanace such as equipment fee etc may be taken from your information on file. So without offering options of paying, they drafted $900 from my bank account and when I called them to offer half they would not help at all. I feel that is fraudulent and to me not a very good company. I’m all for paying my bills, however we should be allowed to chose what account we decide to pay it from. I do not like Sprint, not only do I dislike their way of doing business but also the phone service.

I ordered 2G service instead of unlimited (post paid.) My first bill reflected unlimited, so I contacted Sprint and got the issue resolved (they changed my plan to 2G and credited my account.) I received my second bill, and it included charges for the same period of time as my first bill and was too high. Online chat didn't even understand the issue. It took two reps and 41 minutes on the phone to get credited for the overcharge. And they still said it was somehow my fault!

Beware!!! I would not recommend Sprint to my worst enemy...they are unprofessional, sneaky in their tactics to lure the elderly or unkowledgeable into leasing extremely high cost cellphones and trap them into lengthy contracts and unessacry upgrades. Trying to have a conversation with their employees at their stores regarding issues is nearly impossible. They will not even make eye contact when addressing you. In one Sprint store I walked into looking for assistance; located on 72 St. and Broadway in NYC, I was practically ignored and asked to help myself calling customer service while the female employees in the store laughed and talked while listening to Spanish music with SEXUALLY explicit content!!
Calls to ‘Customer service’ are also a nightmare. They will have you waiting a looong time, can not provide a direct answer to my issues and again will try to lure me into a deeper commitment offering upgrades. They never explained when making any changes that my contract would extend itself!
Please, please, please stay far away!
