I only gave 1 star because I couldn't leave this message otherwise my sister has been a loyal customer for over 10 years and I started paying her bill after my mother passed. Since Jan 2019 I noticed the bill increasingly getting higher so I called from what I gathered if u lease a phone and want to buy outright u have to pay for the plan..pay for the phone and even if u purchase the phone u still have to basically pay for them to let u use it because if u take it to another carrier it's locked! My question is there is thousands of complaints yet you people at the Revdex.com still let this robbery continue! Between the obscene charges and the obvious discrepancies in what is told and what the consumer is getting does not line up..IM ONLY SENDING THIS TO SEE IF IT GOES ANY FURTHER I HAVE NO FAITH IN THE Revdex.com
if I could give sprint a zero star review I would this is one of the worst phone companies to use for cellular service. There customer service are advised to lie to customers to make them feel like they are getting the better end of the deal. Their store and there customer service are terrible. I’ve been with them since 2015 and I am sick of how much of a run around I get with them. There is a lot of hidden fees and lying fees that come with phones. If you try and cancel they threaten to have you pay a lot of money out of there “no contacts”. On top of all of this their service sucks.
I am an existing Sprint customer and am frustrated because they do not offer any deals on new phones to their existing customers. They advertise all kinds, but when you inquire they tell you it is only for new customers or if you add lines. I think it is awful that once they get you as a customer they do not make you a priority. My husband and I both need new phones, and while we really like our Sprint coverage, we will be switching providers so that we can get new phones at an affordable rate.
I'm young, and realizing how naive I am. I got hustled by a girl that ran up my bill way above my means. They told me they were understanding and would forgive my debt, but they placed it up for collections instead. It was over the phone, and I didn't ask for the pardon in writing. I found the bill in my credit report and called them. They were on the phone with me, said they were reading the notes and then tried to forward me to collections without ever telling me that they weren't going to acknowledge that we had a verbal agreement.
Sprint has become a company that does not stand by their own words. They lie to upgrade phones and do not take ownership of the problem.
Wish I could leave zero stars. Tried Sprint in October. Worst experience ever! We were told we'd have coverage, but only occasionally had roaming. An employee opened the car device as we were leaving, told us it was free and put it in our bag. As it turns out, our bill showed we were charged $129, which was refunded. However, we were charged a $45 restocking fee on a device we didn't buy and never opened. The employees said that was just the policy and there was nothing they could do about it.
Then we were charged $45 each for three phones that we couldn't use. We asked about restocking fees when we bought them and were told that we wouldn't have to worry about that if we brought them back in a few days.
We then had to fight for over a week just to get the basic refund on everything else. Customer service was rude as were the store employees in Eden, NC. We at least deserve the $45 back on the car device, but after the experience and lies, we should get more than that back. Luckily, we're back at Verizon and they had to fight just to get our numbers back from Sprint who locked them in their system for over four hours. While I doubt Sprint will respond based on previous experience, please if you're considering Sprint, don't. They'll only lie to you and cheat you.
In August of 2019 Sprint kept disconnecting our service, saying we didn't pay our September 2019 bill. Every time I called they said "that shouldn't have happened, etc.... and restored service, this happened multiple times over 3 weeks. Finally I changed carriers. Now I keep getting fraud alerts on my bank card because Sprint is trying to use my card to pay my final bill. It is illegal to use someones credit card without their consent. Stay away from them, they are the worst! Wish I could leave a 0 star!

After 4 years of recent service and 8 prior in the past, I should have known that when it comes to sprint customer service you have a better chance of getting a popeyes chicken sandwich during lunch hour than being promptly helped by sprint.
I paid off two of of the 4 phones on my contract to unlock and switch. Of course when I paid it off, they said I had to wait 2 weeks to unlock it, after those two weeks they said I had to find my original documentation and that it would be a tech person to call me. then pushed to try to keep me on with offering better services...essentially they were staling to unlock my phone because they knew I would leave. It took nearly a month for this process to finalize and was told I wouldnt be charged for my line since I had paid off my phone right after the end of a billing cycle, yet they charged me.
I dont know how these people stay in business? but be smart and save yourself the hassle--DONT DO BUSINESS WITH SPRINT
New service Verizon to Sprint Cell
New start program-Master card $200.00 to change service to Sprint
Applied with supervision to complete application with Tracking number, but still not received as of 11.14.19 approx.10 months ago.
Sprint has given me 6 excuse now , don’t apply to me.
But I have a Sprint Csr still calling me every few days to follow up on MasterCard. Employee no’s what’s right and fighting for me! Beware what Cell phone company’s offer!!!get n writing
The company is the worst wireless company. They have promised me a bill of 170.00 per month and have over charged every single month. I have spent hours on the phone with customer service reps where they “fix” the bill and then without fail the billing is not fixed. This month they charged me an additional $300.00. They are the worst company ever.
Had Sprint previously for about 14 months and was mostly satisfied. Left to try and save a few bucks with Red Pocket, which ultimately was a massive mistake. Decided to head back to Sprint last night, and the guys at the local store were phenomenal. Made the transition as smooth and painless as possible, even with Red Pocket dragging their feet for four hours to port the number.
Major props to Codie @ store 816 in Hilliard, OH. Great to work with - highly knowledgeable, friendly, patient, etc.
I have been a sprint customer for several years and every year they retire my plan and I’m forced to pick a more expensive one. Most recently this happened and I online chatted with an agent who offered me a new plan for only a few dollars more than I was paying so I agreed. When I received my bill the price was $20 higher than I was told. When I contacted sprint they told me the agent gave me the wrong information and they wouldn’t honor the price we had originally agreed upon. Overall, I spent 2 hours to be told that they don’t have to honor a given price and weren’t going to change anything.
Horrible customer service....My area doesn't get good coverage and won't work with me in getting out of service without charging enormous amount...please help
I also have had a problem with Sprint attempting to collect money from me AFTER I have discontinued service with them. The service was no good so we waited til the contract was up, paid off our phones and switched to AT&T! First, I had to make two attempts and multiple long waited phone calls to get them to unlock my phones. When we switched they said we had a $0 balance. The day after we switched we got an email asking for us to come back to them with some sort of deal. So it was clear they knew we were no longer receiving service from them. One month letter I get a bill via email that we owe them money for that month. We called and no one would help us. They kept telling me it was for one reason or another. They had no idea what I was being charged for and kept making excuses. I refused to pay and one month later we received another bill for another amount. We kept receiving letters. Each time I got a notice I called and got the same treatment of not having a clue to why I owed money and coming up with some Invalidated reason. THEN THEY STARTED TAKING MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT PERMISSION!! Told me that I signed a contract that says I could do that! Umm no! I disputed the transactions. They continued to take out money. When I called they still wouldn’t help me. I blocked them from my bank account and they pulled money from a different account! I had to cancel the account to stop the madness. One of the amounts that they pulled from my account, I just let them have, thinking it was better to let them have $114 in order to stop them from harassing us. I still get a bill every month saying I owe even more money. I wouldn’t recommend Sprint to ANYONE!!
In June I made a one time payment for a friend using my credit card. My friend has since switched to Xfinity mobile. Several days ago a charge showed up on my no balance card. Sprint was billing me for a portion of what my friend still owed. They never had my permission to use my card again! I contacted my credit card company and reported the charge as fraudulent..which it most certainly is! The charge was removed from my card the next day.
I would suggest for anyone to NEVER leave credit card information with this company. Pay your bill thru your bank or credit union instead..or pay by check or money order. Sprint has the worst customer service and very deceptive business practices. They can't be trusted with anyones credit card details.
I did not realize that I was not paying off my iphone for the last 6 months. I was done with an initial 18 month contract and thought my monthly device payments were paying off my phone. I was wrong and I had to have clicked something in an email I got. Well when I realized this 6 months later that my phone was not paid off and I asked for help from customer service I got put on hold for several hours only to be told I should have read my agreement. I paid $41/month to basically rent my phone for 6 months instead of it going towards paying off my phone because I forgot to click something. This is incredibly devious of sprint and plain wrong.
I would give zero stars if I could. Sprint gave me trouble from the beginning. Staff in the store weren’t helpful and I was on the phone for hours with customer service staff. They promised me $25 a month unlimited but then I received a call a week later stating that this couldn’t happen. I paid for the first month and the second month, then the third month the bill went up again without any notice. I canceled and went to a different provider. Recently I received an email stating that I would have funds go to collections. They are trying to bill me on funds that I paid and then they refunded. Now they want me to pay that money back again.
Reception on my phones is terrible and I just finished the lease for 2 of my phones and since I didn't get phones they renewed the contract and now they want to charge me 100 dls more. Don't use sprint is the worst carrier you can get
Told my bill would be $240.00 a month, first bill over $300.00, second bill $414 next months bill over $300.00. I have spent over 8 hours in 2 days trying to get this rectified. They were supposed to call me at my employment. When I answered, they hung up and have not called back since.
Sprint has the worst service and the customer service reps will lie. My husband and I left sprint about 4 mths ago due service wasn’t available in every state (he travels for a living) and too many dropped calls. We were determined that we wouldn’t have to pay another bill with sprint so we asked when will the contract and all phones be done. We called numerous times to confirm when and how much will we have to pay to terminate services. Once the day came we called sprint while in Verizon to get the account paid and remaining phones transferred over, at this time we were told we had a $0 balance and would not owe anything. The phones and contract was paid off. Today my husband gets a call from the collection agency stating he owes Sprint over $1000. We immediately call sprint and ask what are the charges for? The rep stated that it was a remaining balance for the 4 phones. We tried to let them know we paid everything off before we left. Also we were never contacted to advise that a balance was paid. No correspondence was sent to us. We had no knowledge of this until my husband received that call from a collection agency.
Moral of the story is do not trust sprint when your leaving them get everything in writing. There is no way we would have left that if there was more to be paid. This is why we stayed for so long to make sure the phones and contract paid off. The service was HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. Now we are stuck trying to get this resolved. I would never recommend them to anyone!
