I received a call today and when I picked up the person hung up.  When I called...

back I was advised I would be given a $30 gift card and that they are just now going to be starting the testing on it.  And, again, I would only be given results if it was determent to my health  
1) I never asked for any gift card as I don't plan to return to Starbucks after being a customer for fifteen years.  I was hesitant to accept it as I don't plan on stepping foot in a starbucks again, especially if you refuse to give me the test results!
2) I don't care whether it is determent to my health or not.  I demand to know the results of the test for piece of mind.
You guys asked me to send the item that was in my beverage to test.  You need to tell your consumer the results of the test regardless of what it is.
Please send me the results of the item that was in my beverage immediately after you test it.

the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is NOT satisfactory to me. Apparently, they could not even check the history of my purchases and would have to ask me over and over. I responded to the email their customer service directly sent to me.  It seems like if I hadn't filed a complaint here, they wouldn't have answered.

I am rejecting this response because: I contacted Starbucks for...

them to do the right thing.   $50 in compensation for a missed day of work and the pain I endured is unacceptable.  I accepted the amount for the time being because I did not want to argue with a customer service rep who most likely did not have the authority to make any further decisions on the matter.  Would you take $50 to have scalding coffee poured on your hand?   I have spoken to my attorney and will retain legal counsel if I am unable to resolve the issue amicably with Starbucks.
