Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I recently learned that a coffee grinder I bought from Starbucks (model EL 20, stainless steel) has been recalled for safety issues. After some initial problems and a Revdex.com complaint, Starbucks finally sent me a Fedex label to return the grinder for refund (Starbucks case # [redacted], Revdex.com ID [redacted]). However, when I took this label into Fedex, I was told that it is the wrong type of label (I need a commercial label), and I need further forms because the item will be shipped internationally (from Canada to the US). I was also told that I would need to pay for packaging. Thus, I was not able to ship the grinder.
Given the amount of time I have already committed because of Starbucks's mishandling of this matter, I am no longer willing to spend time shipping this grinder. I am happy to take it into a store. I would like a refund for the recalled grinder.

We are attempting to resolve her issue. Unfortunately, unreasonable expectations were set with her due to human error at the beginning when she called in to report a foreign object in her beverage. Since then we have attempted to contact her to reset expectations and a resolution with her. However, she did not answer our phone calls on 8/17/16, 8/26/16, and 8/30/16 so that we may attempt to resolve this issue with her. We left a voicemail stating that the wrong expectations were set with her in the beginning regarding testing, and that on very specific occasions testing is something we could offer, but in her case it should not have been offered as it was a perishable item, but it unfortunately was offered do to human error. We would like to see this issue resolved, however the issue may not be resolved in the manner [redacted] is requesting because her item was perishable and the results would be inconclusive. [redacted] had previously asked that the test results be given to her in written form, but she is now requesting that all communication with her be in writing, and she has not contacted Starbucks through any means since 8/18/2016, except through Revdex.com or ATG.

Complaint details have been fully documented and passed along to the store's district manager. If customer would like follow up contact from DM he can contact us at [redacted] and reference Case ID [redacted].

The district manager for this location has attempted to contact the customer today, 2/8/16, and is addressing this concern. This is documented under Starbucks Case: [redacted].

He contacted me but not much was really able to be done out side of saying that he would take care of the issues that I mentioned that occurred with the various coffees I've ordered from starbucks over the course of the beginning of the year. I have been a customer for years so it is what it is. It is a pain to lose money since starbucks isn't cheap. However, I hope that he does what he say he is going to do in regards to the two stores serving bad coffee beans or being out of items on the online menu constantly.
