I had filed a dispute for 70.86 because I had lost my stash debit card and I noticed a charge of 70.86 that I did not make. The company denied my dispute and after multiple request to receive a call back from a supervisor it still has not happened. Furthermore, I upset due to the fact that I did not in fact make this purchase and they claim to have some type of evidence showing that I did which is 100% false

I have uploaded supporting documents multiple times in order to "close" my account and get my money back. Despite the fact that my bank was bought out and during the upgrade the last four of my bank account were changed, this is the same account that I opened Stash with. All I want is to close my account and get my $80 back.

I requested for stash to stop taking money out my checking account and did connected my bank account from the stash account and they still taking my money out. I filed a stop payment through my bank and filled out the request they sent me but all it does is say there was an error please try again and they take more money out my account. They will not stop getting money out my account

I have been investing with Stash For a few months now with little to no issue. Recently two transactions were made that directly violated their own policy and I called to try and resolve the matter. They are refusing to refund me for the two transactions because in their words they are on able to refund money instead I have to initiate a transfer back to my bank which could take 3 to 5 business days at which point my bank may or may not recover the overdraft fees that resulted from these two transactions.

I have been trying to unlock my account and I keep getting hung up on or told to wait 2 business days. Its been over a week and I hace sent the documents they asked for. Im not able to talk to anyone that will give any answers.

on 6//2019 my paycheck was direct deposit amount $3040.72. I got the money and started using my card after a few hours I couldnt use my debit card when I logged on to stash said my account was locked. I called and was told I was not getting my money back bc of fraudulent spending. I get paid once a month and was just paying my bills after talking to someone I was told it was there fault bc someone put the wrong name on my bank account with stash I was then told that I will be able to spend my money again. I dont understand where im fraudulent in spending my money I told them I was the one using the card and still was told my money was going to sit there and never get used. This company needs to be looked at I didnt do anything wrong and treated like I did and now I cant spend my money or pay my bills and I told them that and still was told it stash money now and I cant do anything about it and sorry. Please help

Stash closed my account for no reason. I loaded $1500 into my account to invest and spend. Stash denied me the chance to verify my identity that there was no fund. I have $228 in the debit account and $743 left in the investment account and they have locked me out my account and will not allow to to transfer my funds!
Someone needs to do something about this fraudulent company. There is NO WAY THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO LOCK YOUR FUNDS WITHOUT EXPLANATION. Please HELP!

Ok so when I first started using this app I was probably its biggest fan. Until one day I checked my account to find it had been locked from everything. I called the office and the lady (not going to blast your name on here because its unprofessional, but you know who you are.) Was very much in a bad mood that day I reckon. Not only would she not even let me explain why my deposits were returned. (Due to fraud being commited on my account at that time) but she cuts me off the phone. I called back at least 100 times from then to now and every time I ask for her or someone above her I emidatley get one of two responses. 1st oh they arent in today 2nd (click) they hang up on me. One other lady finally actually tried to help me and when she pulled up my info and whatever she told me that that lady that locked my account had put a note on file to leave my account locked period. I dont know what that womans problem is with me but I really wish someone would help me get back to stashing. I still get emails monthly that my dividends had just deposited. I have over $1200 in my stash account and I am being restriced from even closing the account, like how is that even possible. I either want to get my account unlocked so I can continue stashing or I need a check for my hard earned money that im not being allowed to touch. Please lets just get this resolved I love this company and have gotten so many of my people investing through stash, and this is how im treated. For 3 returned deposits that I didnt authorise in the first place. I have sent all documents requested I am being %100 cooperative and that is hard to do with rude employees.I have all statements and all the agreements and terms from the time of the incident. So please get back to me , I love you stash show some love back.

On June *, *** inadvertently completed a transfer to her STASH account in lieu of a transfer to her linked bank account. Unfortunately, this triggered a recent deposit hold of 3-days which is used to help prevent fraud. While the transfer was immediately cancelled we aren’t able to override this transfer.
During the course of the correspondence with STASH Customer Service, *** asked to speak to a Supervisor. She was transferred to our Tier 2 servicing as a Supervisor was not immediately available. After several phone calls, she determined that she would close all her accounts.
At that time STASH Customer Service also provided *** with the directions to close her Retirement account. Unfortunately, we can’t close the retirement account on her behalf without her Distribution Form. She can however, close it on her own by following the instructions on the website (***).
As of June , 2019, ***’s Custodial Funds have been returned but may take 2-4 business days to arrive in the bank account and the Invest account is in the closing process. A STASH Customer Service manager has contacted the customer directly.

You cant do anything about it ? So im suposed to loose all of the money in my custodial account? Because there is nothing you can do to it because your company pushed the account into the situation its in but im the one who looses over a grand, not only that but im suposed to be satisfied that you can release the .82 cents that I have in it !?!? How does that even come remotley possible to something fair in your eyes? It takes me 6 months to pay my bills and have enough affer bills to start saving up to $1000 and I put my %100 trust in your company and now your business side kicks in on how much yall are about to rip me off with some excuses that are not even found in any ofthe disclosure agreements, or any section in the policy book. Make this wrongfully forced situatio better so I can get on with my life or ill turn to the news and to theweb.I filed the.Appropriate forms ,now twice. I have another question how is it you cant do anything about my custodial account because; as you explained to me , you cant access it while its suspended inbetween the accounts. Yet as my statements provided to me from you. Your company Can magically pull the monthly fee out as well as continue to deposit my interest and other small deposits from my dividends. Explain ?

If there was a way to leave negative stars I would. My son had an account that amounts to $600.00. He passed away in January. It has been over 5 months and I still have not received his funds. It has cost me $250.00 to go through probate to receive the funds. I have sent every form (some several times) they have requested. I don't understand why they will not release the funds and end this agony. It's not like it's a substantial amount, I just want this account closed and over with. I would NOT recommend this app to anyone.

opened both a Personal Brokerage and Retirement Account, and contacted STASH Customer Service on May , 2019 requesting to close his account. ***’s Personal Brokerage account was closed on May , 2019 and the proceeds were returned to her linked bank account. In order to close a Retirement account a distribution form is required, and on May , 2019 *** submitted a retirement distribution form. Unfortunately, there were several errors on the form which resulted in significant back and forth communication between *** and STASH Customer Service. During that communication STASH could have done a better job in clearly communicating next steps and addressing the feedback from the customer. STASH Customer Service recently (during the process of ***’s account closing) switched to a paperless close process and we did offer to allow *** to use this process for a faster resolution. Feedback has been provided to the agents that handled this ticket.
On June , 2019 the balance of $296.42 was returned to ***’s linked bank account and his account is closed. We apologize for any inconvenience.

I have been pressurized to open a retirement account. I was given 5 usd for opening retirement account. It was told in the first place they charge 2 usd every month. As soon as I realized my mistake I contact them and there is nobody. They ask to fill a contact form and some how their system does not let you submit it. I have spent so much time in sending so many messages and did not get any reply. Finally I found their phone number where after a long wait I was able to talk to somebody. They were not helpful. I have been spending so much time in communicating with their emails and no use. They are charging me every month even though I have asked them to close my account almost 6 months ago. I feel trapped in a scam. Without my knowledge they opened Roth IRA which is not good. I discussed with my friend. Now I have to pay penalty to irs. I am diabetic and it is really hard for me to pursue everyday hours on the phone and doing chores for their phone people. These phone people told me to fill the form and get it notarized and I di that and sent that form and today I got email that form is invalid. They do not accept form anymore. I was asked to click on a link. That link does not work either. I never got this harassment in my life.I am contacting SEC now if I can get some justice.
I opened an investment account as well with them which was closed almost 5 weeks ago and I did not get any money until today. They started taking money out of my bank account so I do not want to share any bank information with them so I asked them to send a check to my home address which is on file.

contacted STASH Customer Service on April , 2019 regarding closing both the Stash Invest and Stash Retire Account. In order to close the Retire Account, STASH requires a distribution form. The Invest Account was put in a closing process however *** did not have a bank account linked so he requested that STASH send the money in the Invest Account to him via check. As the portfolio value was larger than $250 STASH Customer Service requested a bank statement before sending the check as part of our fraud prevention procedure.
STASH Customer Service next heard from *** on May , 2019, and reiterated what was required to close and return the funds. The form was returned on June *, 2019, however it had several errors. At that time we requested that *** either update the form or utilize our new tool to self close the retirement account.
On June *, 2019, a check was issued for the remainder of the funds in ***’s Invest account. Unfortunately STASH cannot do anything regarding the Retire Account until the necessary forms are sent in, however the customer can go back and relink a bank and complete the closure process.
We apologize for the inconvenience. Please reach out to STASH Customer Service if there are any remaining questions. Thank you.

I have sent all the retirement closing account multiple times. I do not know why Stash is insisting on linking my account. They started draining out money from my account I do not feel safe. I have already provided the forms. Please send my check to my home address immediately.

provided a form on June *** 2019, however it had incorrect delivery instructions (indicating that the funds would be returned via ACH versus Check). We indicated that he needed to update the form and indicate "Address of Record" with the rest of this section blank. We will send a pre-filled form as a follow-up and ask him to sign and return the form. We can not send a check without this document. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

I have called them in January to get guidance for closing this Roth IRA account. In their website it says it IRA but it is Roth IRA. From January on wards I am being charged money from my investment or from my bank account. It is a scam to get bank information and withdrawing money until customer dies. In May somebody started responding to my request of closing the account immediately. For last three times they sent me wrong forms and I went to get the notary done three times. Despite the fact I am a diabetic patient and loosing my eye sight, there is no help in this company. I do not think this company will ever act responsibly.
