Review: In January of this year, I ordered a coat from Suddenvalues.com. Because they are a local business, and I had seen their advertisements around town, I assumed they would be reliable. It is now the end of March, and I have no coat and no refund. I e-mailed the company the end of February to inquire about the order and received a polite e-mail back stating that the orders sometimes take extra time to fill. I e-mailed again a week ago inquiring on the status of the order. Then, I checked the Revdex.com to find what a disaster this company apparently is. They have also been evicted from their Euclid address for failure to pay their rent. I gave them 48 hours to respond to my e-mail, and after not hearing from them, I sent another e-mail requesting a refund within 7 days, or I would be filing a complaint with the Revdex.com. I can't believe this company has been in business this long with this many complaints and obviously shoddy business practices.Desired Settlement: I would like the full amount of the purchase, including shipping, of $76.00 refunded to my credit card immediately.

Review: On March 4, 2014, I purchased a Pearl Tri Set made with Swarovski Elements for $33.00 plus $2.50 for shipping. Never received shipment. On May 5, 2014, I contacted SuddenValues asking for a shipping date. Sent another message on June 16. They responded that my request #[redacted] was received and was being reviewed by support staff. Followed up again on June 16, June 26, July 15, July 30 and again on August 5. I told them I had been more than patient, but stated they needed to refund my credit card or send the productDesired Settlement: I just want my money back in the amount of $33.00. Lesson well-learned.

Review: Pursuant to an email advertisement for the product (razor blades, in an amount of $21.00), I used this company's website to place an order.

The product has never been delivered, nor has the company issued a credit. I initially was able to speak to customer service ([redacted]) at [redacted], who upon several calls at different occasions advised that the company would be receiving a delivery of the product and would promptly ship it to may attention. This never happened. Then, the company decided to eliminate their voice mail in favor of an email inquiry system. I used this system, where upon I was informed that the accounting department was aware of the problem and (supposedly) would be issuing a check for credit. On 1-31-2014, they emailed me. "Your request ([redacted]) has been solved. To reopen this request, reply to this email." Well, it may have been solved on their end, but I again have neither the product nor the requested business check of refund. I cannot reach accounting or customer service now by phone. Consequently, I am filing this complaint. (NOTE- the credit card company I used ([redacted]) has since this purchase elected to discontinue their credit card lines, so it is not possible for SuddenValues to issue a credit to my account. My request to SuddenValues has been that they send me a business check in the amount of $21.00.)Desired Settlement: Respond to me with a creditable and truthful response, and not some lame excuse. If they are going to send me the product, then send it. If they can't, then advise by phone or email that this is the case, commit to a date that the refund check will be sent, and then follow through.

Review: On March 11th, I ordered and paid for a hose (see order information below) that was supposed to ship in 2-4 weeks. We are now in the end of May and there has been no attempt at delivery. I have sent four emails to support asking for an update: none of which have been replied to. I tried calling them, but they do not allow for voicemail and I was never able to get anyone on the phone. Based on other Revdex.com complaints, this seems to be a common practice for them.

Returned an item that did not work as advertised and requested a refund in December 2013. Refund not received by June 2014 so I filed a complaint with the Washington state attorney general's office . Sudden value told them it would credit my credit card. So far as of Sept 27, 2014 still no refund. This business is a scam.

Review: I order a product from the sudden values website on 1/31/2015 here is my voucher # [redacted] The advertisement said that product will be shipped in 1-3 business days. The order was not shipped until February 10,2015 per The USPS. I do not want the item anymore. Based on a promotional e-mail dated 2/14, the Dr. Dre's Studio Edition Headphones, which was promised to me as a replacement for the Bose earphones I originally ordered, is back in stock. If you do not agree on a refund, then I should receive the shipment of Dr. Dre's headphone. Would you please speed up either the refund of $75 or the shipment of the replacement earphone? Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Between September 2013 and earlier this year, I called the company a few times and actually talked to someone. The person always promised that the item would be shipped when it was available again. At some point this year, when I called, there was no longer anyone answering the phone. The company switched their 'customer service' entirely to on-line communication. Both times after I sent them e-mails, there was an automated response saying 'Your request ([redacted]) has been received and is being reviewed by our support staff.' Review: I placed an order with Suddnevalues.com on February 6th. The website said it would take 4-6 weeks to arrive. After 6 weeks I contact the company via email and received nothing back. After several attempts I received an email on March 19th stating I would be a priority and my product would be out soon. I have since emailed them several more times and have not received an email back. I still have not received the item above. Initially SuddenValues responded to my inquiries about the item with explanation about issues with supplier of the item. Then they promised me shipment of the item which was expected in stock soon. They even advertised the item again after my inquiries. Now, the last 2 - 3 email inquiries have gone unanswered.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive the item I ordered. Now that so much time has passed, I believe I am also owed an apology and some remuneration for having spent so much time and effort in just trying to get them to fulfill their side of the contract.

For some reason I could not write in the text box and the program would not let me enter and send you that information that I am rejecting their offer. I have called them 3 different times to get a refund and left messages with their accounting department, which is an answering machine promising that they would call me back with in 24 hours. The last call was on August 5th and I have heard nothing, nor have they credited my account. Review: I purchased a Barnes & Noble Nook Color eBook Reader for 79.95 from Sudden Values on October 15, 2012.In December I contacted the business and they told me they were having trouble with the distributor and they were looking for another one. I could either wait a while longer to see if they would be getting any, get a credit or refund. I chose to wait for the item. After several months had gone by, I tried to contact Sudden Values again and I would never get a return phone call. After several attempts I finally reached someone and they said they would issue a refund.I never received it. I talked to a Kristen on 4-16-13 about it and she said for some reason it was overlooked and that they would send out a check on that Friday, still I haven't received it. I called again last week and was told that they would send out a check that day, I said are you sure because I was told that in April and she assured me that it would be sent out that day. Well I still have not received it and it has been over a week. The mail isn't that slow from Wenatchee, WA to Michigan. Many thanks for your investigation and the further information relative to the above-referenced complaint. I have already provided the attached but here it is again. I want a full refund. If, when I placed the order, the company had said something like:

“For a $5.00 shipping charge we’ll try to get your order to you in 6 weeks.”

I might have known better than to order something for a Christmas party that happened last Saturday. I have absolutely no use for the item now and would like to get my money back.

Review: On 06/25/2013 our company made a purchase from SuddenValues.com. They charged our credit card but never shipped the product. I called them on 8/29/2013 and spoke to a representative by the name of [redacted] and she stated that there was an unexpected delay with the manufacturer and they were waiting on a return call from the manufacturer. She then asked me to send her an email the following week and she would have more information. I sent them an email the next week and I received no response. I then called again on 09/20/2013 and I was told that the product should be in their distribution center at any time and they would send it to us asap. By 10/28/2013 we still had not received the product so I called them again. This time I spoke to a representative by the name of [redacted]. I asked her for a refund on the order and she said she would process our information in order to get us refunded. I was constantly checking our credit card account for the refund. I have called them multiple times since talking to [redacted] on 10/28/2013 and have left messages. We have still not been reimbursed nor received the product we originally ordered.Desired Settlement: We would like to be refunded the amount owed. The total amount they charged us was $39.90. We would also like to make other businesses/consumers aware of the problems with this company so they don't also get charged and not receive any product.

Review: I ordered [redacted] Spanish Level 1-5 on Jul 25, 2013. It was to be shipped within 4-6 weeks. My credit card was charged immediately the full Sudden Value price of $199 which included shipping.When it did not arrive by Sep 18, I inquired by phone to "[redacted]?" at ###-###-#### who said that it was expected to ship within 2 weeks. but I could have either a refund, credit for future purchase, or wait just a bit longer as they were in negotiation with [redacted] for delivery. I have made inquiry to my credit card company but as it has been over 60 days since Sudden Values was paid, the card company would make note of the complaint. I am now filing this with the Revdex.com in hopes of a satisfactory resolution.The Sudden Values apparent business model of purchasing another companies' over-stocked product at a substantial discount and quickly selling it is a valid operational concept. The downside is that if the product is not acquired at the anticipated below wholesale cost, Sudden Values must bear the margin loss as the cost of doing business. No company can guarantee profit on every unit moved. When a purchasing misjudgment is made, the product must be sold at a loss.Desired Settlement: I would like an immediate delivery of the contracted purchase of [redacted] Level 1-5. Alternatively, I will accept immediate refund of the purchase price of $199.00. If Sudden Values must purchase the product from [redacted] in order to deliver it, that is their expense, not mine. They should not advertise a product that they are unable to deliver.

Review: I placed an order with Sudden Values back on February 18, 2014, The estimated delivery date was 4 - 6 weeks. The phone number provided on their website is an automated recording with no live person. I have e-mail them several times. I received a response once stating they were sorry for the delay of shipment but they would prioritize my order as soon as they could fill it. This was a couple of months ago. Till this day (June 20, 2014) I have not received an update or the item I ordered. They charged my credit card the same day I placed my order on 2/18/14 in the amount of $129.00. See my order below:
