I REJECT their response since nobody has contacted me by the GE Appliances Executive Customer Relations Department to help me with this matter.
 
I am not sure what else to do to reopen my complaint since this matter has not been resolved yet and I still have a defective and unsafe Cooktop in my kitchen and nobody has offered me help to resolve the matter.
Also I’ve tried calling the [redacted] number, but they refuse to help me cause they say my case manager is [redacted] from[redacted] Department.
 
 
Your website says that she has contacted me and offered me a resolution, but I don’t have her phone number and unable to reach her at all.
What else can I do to get this resolved? Please help.

Thank you for the opportunity to review this consumer's situation. I spoke with Dr. [redacted] yesterday who confirmed that the fridge was actually cooling and temperatures seemed to be fine.  He did mention a new issue though that he still needed addressed.  He said that the lights blink on...

and off in the fresh food section.   He requested a Saturday service if possible.  He also stated that he was promised a pick up of a box of used appliance parts.  I agreed to help him by calling dispatch and got the service call moved to Saturday, 10/3.  I also issued an RMA for the parts to be picked up (which were picked up yesterday afternoon.) When I called him today to follow up, he asked for first call of the day on Saturday.  I agreed to put in the request but could not promise a first call.  The appointment time will be between 8am - noon.  I will follow up with him after the repair.  I also told him that this return visit will be at no charge to him.  He accepted this as a satisfactory resolution to his complaint. I was contacted by GE and they offered compensation for the repair but most importantly the individual I spoke to actually listened, apologized & showed some genuine empathy and remorse. This was appreciated and he also listened to my suggestion that they needed an automatic response option for individuals like myself that have no way of contacting them because they close when the do.

They took ONE WEEK to repair refrigerator. Any other repair company would have fixed it in 48 hours. We had to buy food three times per day as we could not keep anything cool. We also had to eat out at restaurants for the same reason. I had a knee replacement so going to the store three times per day caused me to experience excruciating pain. I also could not use my medically prescribed ice packs because they needed to be frozen. Regular ice does not reduce pain and swelling. Since they paid the $250, I would settle this for $950
