I ordered a shelf from Tactical Traps on June 26thI have received emails saying they were shipping the productThis is always followed by " oh, sorry we did not ship it yesterday At this point, I am tired of dealing with them and would just like my money back

The company was very helpful with all aspects of my ordersSome latches werer damaged during shippingThey were replaced by the company promptlyGreat product

After reading some of these reviews I'm convinced "competitors" use the Revdex.com as a way to bad mouthing good, honest companiesMy husband met Joe, the owner, at a local gun show in May and bough two traps for our home and cabinThe product is amazing and priced rightHe's $cheaper than anyone else and builds and stains each shelf by handOver the last months we have referred at least people from our local shooting club to him and never had a single problemWell, UPS did break one of my brother-in-laws shelves but Joe sent him a new one at no cost I have never written an online review before but I feel compelled to do this because Joe is a stand up and honest man I want others searching his company to know the truth about him and his products I highly recommend Tactical Traps!

Everything was easy to understand, to install & to useI love it

I want to piggyback on the review by Bill S on 12/26/ I have had my shelf installed for less than months and the lock has been cycled less than times Recently I attempted to unlock it and got three beeps which evidently indicates a lock out due to a dead battery (well nearly because it has enough power to continually beep three times with each attempt to open) and the shelf will not unlockI too was given the "buy your own break in tool and rip out the screws" answerI will save the company some time in answering This unit NEVER gave a "warning beep before the batteries are too weak to release the lock"and certainly, never activated an "automatic unlock before the batteries are completely dead" It is sitting on my wall, lockedIn the interest of full disclosure, I like the craftsmanship and overall idea of the product but there seems to have been some lack of long term thinking in the design process I notice now the company is offering magnetic locks so evidently, they realize this now

Came across the Patriot model on FacebookNice video clip, nice looking product, not a bad priceOrdered the shelf, instantly was charged for the shelf on 6/16/Called to check status of order on 6/7/and was told latches had held up the assembly but were now in stock and unit will ship soonReceived phone call on 7/stating that unit was packaged and ready for shipment that afternoon and was coming from Indiana so I should see by Friday 7/21/Called this morning to hear that shipping label has been printed and should go out by 7/24/I canceled my order this morning and requested full refund.........waiting to see how that goesWould advise staying away from this one

I would rate Tactical Traps as a star business, I purchased a shelf from them about a year ago,and have enjoyed their product immenesly No problems with the product, and will probably do business with them again

I do wish that they would of let me know that they weren't built till ordered but the end product is very nice and it does the jobI have the flag

The shelf unit is a beautiful piece with excellent workmanshipWorks great! You must remember to change the batteries regularly or if You are somewhat skilled at electronics You can place a hidden plug connected to the electronic latch unit so if You forget (like I sometimes do) that connects to a cell battery box that has a plug connected to it to plug into the unit in case of battery failureI am pretty sure You will void the warranty but I did not want to force the shelf unit open as it is way to nice to have to do that toAgain thank You for a beautiful product!

The shelf is durable, discreet and very well constructedI'd
love some non-concealment ones to match in other areas of our
homeWe use ours for its intended purpose but also to hide
valuables when we travel and have house sitters
