I ordered the shelf, arrived weeks, not bad, looks goodBut when I open the box, there are no instructions, hardware to mount the shelf and there were the credit card looking things you use to open but no instructionsIn video is shows moving an item over the designated spot and it opensI got credit card size items that I do not know if I can cut them to fit an item or whatYou buy it and I guess you figure out how to mount it and what to do with other itemsNot happy, that there is no instructions on items and any hardwareInstructions on how they recommend mounting the shelf would have been helpful, but nothing just the shelf and you figure out the rest

I am sorry that you did not receive instructions with your unit. The user cards cannot be cut down as they may not work. The unit would have an orange sticker on the top portion of the unit and that is the trigger point where you would swipe the key card over to access the unit. Ordered and received the smaller 35" pistol unitDelivery was within the specified timeAfter opening and mounting the unit I can tell you it is built and the finish is as good as my Ethan Allen and Drexel Heritage furnitureMounted next to them and looks like part of their collections100% Satisfied

I ordered two of these in FebruaryLike everyone else, my CC was charged immediatelyA couple of weeks later I tried calling to check statusNo one answered so I left a messageI also followed up with an e-mail to their customer service After about four additional e-mails, I finally got a reply that they were have issues getting the lock mechanismI finally received my first shelf in early MayHowever it came without the hydraulic lift mechanismTheir was a note in the box that this would ship separately After two weeks passed and no mechanism I sent an e-mail to cancel my second shelf and inquired on how to return the one I had receivedI eventually returned the first shelf and then waited forever for my refundI ended up sending daily e-mails until I finally received my refund check in July This company is a jokeI only rated them a one because zero is not an optionAlso, they did not refund the original shipping cost and I had to pay to return the shelfI am out $

Our records indicate that we have made 3 attempts to have the package returned to us through our UPS account. Twice with UPS attempting 3 times to pickup the package up (on 12/29 and 1/24) and once by emailing the...

return label to the customer (2/15). The attached page shows the UPS record of attempts.
We will contact UPS again today and have another label emailed to the customer. We have his email address as [redacted]@[redacted].net. We will also contact UPS for another pickup attempt and they will try three times starting Monday, March 20th, to retrieve the package.
If these option are unsuccessful the customer can call our office at XXX-XXX-XXXX and we will physically print a return label and have it mailed to him. Or he can return the package to:

My records indicate that the last time Tactical Traps contacted me was on 01/18/17 when [redacted] informed me that a previously unmentioned "[redacted]" might know the whereabouts of my return label:
"No problem, thank you so much for your patience in this matter. I have had a new label emailed to you, please just print it out and drop it at your local UPS store at your convenience.

I have have received zero contact from Tactical Traps since that time.
While Tactical Traps has attempted to arrange UPS pickups, they have done so without confirmation or authorization from me.
Why hasn't this approach worked?
On 12/29 I was out of town for the holidays.
On 01/24 I had been told instead that a return label was to be provided to me.
In addition, the issue was with damaged packaging, so the item was not ready to be reshipped immediately.
This is why I requested to drop off at local UPS store for repackaging.
In addition, the address on file has not been my primary address since 2016.
This is why at no point did I authorize a pickup at that location. If Tactical Traps has ANY correspondence in which I authorized a pickup of any kind, let alone at that address, I'd like to see it.
During this whole process, I have repeatedly asked for a return label and none was provided. Here are excerpts from emails in which I directly asked for a label:
12/19/16 - "As soon as I can receive a return shipping label, I will get this sent right back for the exchange."
01/11/17 - "I appreciate the convenience of having them pick it up but it would be easier on me to take it by the UPS store near by house, I'd rather have the peace of mind granted by actually turning it over to them."
01/17/17 - "I don't believe that I have received a label yet? "
01/23/17 - "If you could just email me one I think it would speed this process up."
02/10/17 - "I have still not had a label emailed to me.
It has been over two months and I still do not have a resolution to this, can we please speed this process up? "
Again, at no time have I authorized, confirmed, or requested a UPS pickup.
Instead, I have REPEATEDLY asked for a return label to be emailed to me.
On 02/15/17, after THREE (3) months without en affection resolution from Tactical Traps, I advised that I would be contacting the Revdex.com.
In response, I immediately received a shipping label of insufficient amount with no explanation or contact from Tactical Traps.
Again, the last email I received from Tactical Traps was on 01/18/17, when "[redacted]" indicated that "[redacted]" might know where my label was and that she would get back to me "that afternoon".
On 02/15/17, I contacted Tactical Traps' third-party vendor, through which my purchase from Tactical Traps was arranged.
Although not obligated or at fault, third-party vendor offered refund to cover Tactical Traps' failure.
RMA authorization and return label were immediately provided, and
by 02/23/17 the unit was returned for a third-party refund.
Tactical Traps produces a shoddy product with customer service that is mind-bogglingly awful, the worst I believe I've ever encountered.
Ever.
This whole ordeal was an absolutely unnecessary waste of time and money for all involved.

I have attached email correspondence with [redacted] along with proof of UPS shipment and delivery of the product. I have also included copies of the UPS tracking for the three retrieval requests and the two UPS labels emailed to Mr. [redacted] so he could take the package back to UPS to have it shipped back to us at our expense. Upon tracking all of those UPS numbers you will find that the package has never been returned to our company with any of the labels/retrieval requests we provided. If Mr. [redacted] would like to return the product or has proof that the product has been shipped back to us by his own means our company will gladly issue a refund check to Mr. [redacted] for the full amount charged.
