I had some trouble with the arm coming off and having to rescrew it myself and making adjustments for door to shut properly but now it is so great and looks so good I kinda forget any problemAlso customer service was very helpful and had no problem having a new one shipped out and the old one picked up on their dime if that is what I would have chosen to do

An advertisement for the Patriot 35S Pistol Shelf says that for a liimited time I can receive a free upgrade to hardwoodI ordered this product because the ad says it will be made from 3/4" hardwood however the graphic used in the ad shows 3/4" plywood I emailed [email protected] and asked if the shelf will be made from actual hardwood, or from plywood as pictured The answer I received confirms they do not use hardwood and the ad is deceptive and misleading The actual response from their support is as follows:

The shelf will be made of a hard maple pressed wood like that used for cabinetry in high end kitchens Please let me know if I can be of further assistance

Product was as expectedMy concern lies on the delivery aspect, being, there was no communication as to when I should expect shipment or delivery

After six weeks waiting since my original order on May 20, this unit finally arrived on July It is a piece of garbage The latch mechanism, once opened up, would not close without great force, and the alarm system started blowing, driving us crazy until I took the batteries outIt was obvious that the pin did not align with the hole in the latch mechanism I called them today, they said send it back and my cost would be refunded However, the shipping back to them from California was nearly $ They told me by phone this would not be reimbursed
