I contracted *** to do a resume makeover, and to do an update to my LilnkedIn profile. After a delay of a few days, the work was assigned to a tech writer, and a couple days later I received the draft. It was amateurish work both technically (formatting, fonts, font sizes, etc.), and was poorly framed to showcase my experience in the industry I work in. There was no conversation with the writer, everything was email. When it took over a week to get another writer assigned, I requested they cancel my order and refund. They refused saying they already delivered some product. What they delivered was completely unusable. The most recent email from them offered a 30% refund, which is not acceptable.

TopResume has refunded the $99 for the LinkedIn update. They contacted me with an offer to refund 50% of the resume price but when I accepted, they said their window for that offer closed. As a result, I am still asking for 100% of the resume fee to be refunded.

I wouldn’t even recommend anyone doing any type of business with your company. I practically adjusted everything myself on the resume. Doesn’t make any sense to pay $300 and I have to fix your errors. What’s the purpose of your service? Oh wait, it’s to make a resume! Well, did I really have someone make me one or was my resume generated by a software? Either way, it should’ve been revised which it wasn’t. Feel like I got scammed out of my pocket. Probably a good reason why this site had low rating to begin with. Good luck ripping others off!

This business charged my credit card $219 without providing me with the necessary means of canceling the service that was no longer wanted.

Top Resume never told me it could take more than a month to write a resume and cover letter for me. They let me know after they charged my credit card. There is NO Cancelation period even though they haven't done anything on my behalf and it looks like they never will. This place is a digital SCAM!!!!

THe offer the service to write your resume in a professional manner,
I received a resume that it looks like it was taken out of a template, even with repetitive sentences throughout the resume.

I purchased a full service package with Top Resume to do a resume, cover letter and *** profile. The service has been awful. My first draft was late and terrible. Information was in there that I never relayed to them (IE: They had me managing people and I never did..never told them that and was never written on my old resume I provided to them). There is no way to actually speak with anyone and exchanges are drawn out and very delayed.

I am looking for a full refund. I do not trust a company that has terrible follow up (unless I escalate ). Additionally, the product of resume’ was not correct, very wordy, terribly formatted. The wrong name was on the cover letter. Overall, just do not trust this company and want a refund so I can move on.

I ve a serious resume from a professional , but 3 pages , I am a profi with 30 years experience and MBA and PhD degress

I paid all fees for TOP RESUME to get some more efficient standart resume and linkedin files

Result is terrible , they charged the card , for two services , standart resume and linkedin files

THEY SEND ME EMPTY FORMS TO FILL , THATS ALL

I initially contacted Top Resume on April *** and I paid $249 for the Executive Priority Resume Writing Package including resume, cover letter and LinkedIn profile.
The company was initially responsive but the first draft they sent me was not very good. The format was terrible and the resume was too generic and too laden with text making it difficult to read.
I responded with my feedback and the writer took it into consideration.
However, when an "updated" version was sent to me, the writer simply seemed to copy my own suggestions instead of incorporating his own ideas.
I did not pay the company to update my own resume.
I also received a cover letter that was poorly written and very generic.
The company stopped responding to my emails a week ago and I have not received a LinkedIn updated profile.
I am requesting a refund due to poor customer service and a product that is of poor quality.

This resume service is very much sub-par. They took over a week to start my resume after receiving full payment for the executive package. This included a *** profile add-on for $50 additional dollars. All in, I am out about $400.00. This to have most of the resume that I provided parroted back to me in different words, with new words with misspellings, grammatical errors, improper English and very little new content.
It took 2 weeks total to get me a resume and they closed my account as done within 1 week of the first draft being returned.
The *** add-on was a complete joke and totally worthless. Basically, they copied my entire *** profile and parroted it back in a Microsoft Word document. I am still shocked and beside myself what that actually will do for me, and how any prospective employer would think an MS WORD version of your *** profile is a good thing.
I would say that when you receive a free response and critique of your resume through Indeed or any other job site, ignore it, they will always give you negative feedback and entice you to purchase their services. Identifying issues with your resume are how they rope you in, then the product you get back from them will likely be meek in comparison to your original. Because who knows you better than you?
I strongly recommend you save your money and find free resume sites online to help you format and build your own resume.

Refund for a product not received after several emails sent out. Also after answering trying to give me the run around to different people saying they would charge me a cancellation fee when I never received anything. They kept taking days to answer an email I imagine with the hopes of being able to send out a mediocre product based on all the complaints and reviews they have. They wanted me to give it to family coworker o family instead but still charge me the money.

Top resume is still trying to get a cancellation fee from me claiming I cancelled service the day it was due. Which is true but I didn’t receive a response until *** april. That means regardless I should have received a draft resume on *** april which I didn’t receive. I can you charge a cancellation for not receiving anything from you guys. I keep getting the run around with different reps of customer service and they keep trying to say to pass it along to another family member if I don’t want it or they will charge me $75 dollars. They do not plan on resolving issue with the customer.

If I could give zero stars, I would.
I received my "first revision" this past Friday and it put me in a rage and made me want to cry at the same time. I was at a job orientation so I had to smile when I wanted to rip the POS revision into shreds.
The "revision" looked like a verbal vomit, mental aching eye sore that completely missed the point. It seems to me that the either the company or the inexperienced writer, go to google keywords and only change some keywords and that is it. I gave them so much information and what they gave me back to review was a mediocre, 5th grade level brainstorming page and called it a professional service.
I STRONGLY urge anyone to go elsewhere and save your money. This company is fraudulent trash!

I bought an executive package from Topresume in March and they had assured an expert will work on rewriting my resume. I have received drafts which are worse than my original resume and is not worth submitting in any job portals. The writer has no idea what he is drafting and is totally opposite to the service assured. I want a refund of the amount ($219) I have paid as they have failed to deliver despite point by point feedback. This company looks like a fraud as I keep getting sugar coated emails but not a good end product.

I ordered a resume writing service and after multiple interactions, I have been left with a poorly written resume and customer service representatives respond to specific requests with “is there anything specific you want changed”. The last email I received stated that my project is open for further revision, but no one ever responded to my specific requests to help me in writing the resume and cover letter that I paid for. The final project is unsatisfactory and the merchant was explained to already that the projects were written generically without tailoring to the jobs that we’re being applied to. Edits and feedback were shared by me, but the revisions and requests that I made were ignored and the final product is useless.

I was contacted by this organization to write my resume for me, as they stated that my original resume had issues. After agreeing to letting them write my Resume, I was told that the package I purchased would be written by an expert in my industry, the resume will get employers attention and that it will be optimized to pass through applicant tracking, None of which were presented. The final draft which was merely a re-organized version of my original Resume was delivered and all concerns were brushed off by the resume writer. The Resume that was written does not ensure any of the items it advertises and has placed my job search in a worst position than my own original one, with several recruiters that I know personally in the industry stating they would not give the new resume a second look due to wordiness and length, both in which I was assured would be fine after raising the concerns. I reached out to customer service after giving the written resume about 30 days to discuss my concerns and displeasure and I was brushed off as nothing they could do, even to rewrite the resume. After several exchanges customer service began sending me automated responses, thanking me for my email but that they were unwilling to do anything further including escalate it after further written request.

Very unhappy with TopResume service. They didn't even include my current position and it looks like a 15 year old wrote it. WILL NOT USE AGAIN.

I ordered a cover letter and resume combo from TopResume. I supplied a copy of my current resume along with a full detail of my current job description. I also sent two full job descriptions for two positions that I would applying for along with both job posting from USA Jobs. A week later, I received my first rough draft. I was extremely disappointed in the lack of detail and description, A couple of dates were also incorrect along with my actual position title mislabled. I replied with more details on the position's and also stated that there were a significant lack of keywords and details along with a handful of errors. My account was closed and Topresume deemed my resume satisfactory. I asked for a refund only to say they do not offer them, but would rewrite my resume at a later date if I did not receive positive response from employers. Unfortunately I have already missed applying for a position at my current military installation.
Very little was changed and the date errors were never corrected. Its been a disaster, I missed applying for a few jobs and I had to also rewrite a already paid rewritten resume to submit for open position. Im out $200, and have yet to land a interview or job referral

I purchased a professional writing service from Top Resume on Feb *, 2019 after I spoke at length with a customer service agent. I explained the assistance I required in regards to my resume and coverletter. He assured me the writers on staff are professional writers skilled in writing a variety of resumes covering a range of industry and expertise. It was a 10 minute conversation as I was not going to purchase something if the merchant cannot deliver. Order # *** totally $269 was charged to me credit card. I was assigned a professional writer who contacted me via email. I sent the writer my current resume and cover letter which they are being paid to rewrite. What I received henceforth via email from writer #1 was a resume that made no sense(the same words were repeated throughout the document, the document was multiple pages, words used did not make sense and or generic), it was not formatted correctly (spacing was out of line), and so on. I corrected the document and returned it to the writer. I was sent revision #2 in which some of my edits were made but still the document was not a professional document that I could use to land a job. I had explained all this when I had my first call with customer service. After I sent my third revision to the writer and noticed that once again they missed some of my edits, I contacted customer service via email requesting a refund. My request for a refund was ignored and I was assigned writer # 2. When writer #2 sent me their version of my resume, it became apparent that this new writer did not speak to customer service or read my emails to writer #1. I am stuck with an unusable document since I cannot submit it for any jobs.

Hi -- I had contracted TopResume to help me create a resume as advertised. I have to say, right from the get go I felt like the service was a sham. After filling out a lengthy online questionnaire, I received a document that was outdated, misinformed and grammatically a mess. Having received that I began to investigate and realized the company had terrible reviews and a lengthy history of terrible service. That said, I complained to them and asked for a refund, they do not offer a refund. They simply offer you a rewrite of the resume. I decided to continue trying to work with them since I had already paid the $250. I drafted my own document with notes and corrections to the grammar and asked them to review and makes updates as they (being a "consultant") should know what's best for my resume. The following 2-3 communications with them consisted of them sending me back the same exact document I sent to them. They made no extra effort to correct their mistakes or offer me any time of additional consultation.

I believe this company is a scam and I would encourage you to investigate them as consumers are being targeted and taken advantage of. I would also like to submit request for a full refund of my $250. From what I've read online, other customers have filed complaints to the Revdex.com and have successfully received refunds.

I bought the resume package with the Executive priority. It included the resume, coverletter, and linkedIN package on March ,2019. I waited about a week to be linked to a writer and was matched on March , 2019. They provided an email to communicate with the writer.

I have sent emails regarding my order and have NOT seen or heard any correspondence from my "said" writer. I paid $249 for this kind of treatment??? Um no. If this is how they treat their customers then I want a full refund and I will take my services elsewhere.

They took my money. After several days I received a couple of emails apologizing for a delay in delivery since they were overly busy.
On the second email, I requested a refund.
I was denied the refund since they suddenly sent me a draft. I let them know before receiving the draft I wanted the refund. I really just didn't want to deal with a company that starts off apologizing for your order being delayed...
Now they're refusing the refund request. I've disputed the charge via my credit card.
