Prompt service, awesome writer. Helped me a lot with my job search

1. I ordered for $349 and then an additional $75 the Executive Priority Resume Writing Package (349) and 48 hour delivery (75).
Order numbers were #*** (349) -- Jan , 2019 and rush order at #***(75) -- Jan , 2019.
I am supposed to get a resume within 48 hours (business hours).
2. On Sat Jan *** I received an email as the writer assigned with a note that THEY will contact when 'ready'. I have received NOTHING.
3. It is the end of Jan . I can not wait anymore for this resume.
Early today I sent an email that I want to cancel the order and refund because they did not fulfill the terms -- deliver and within 48 hours.
No response. (***)
4. I called today. Left a voice message. No response.

5. I have advised them that no response means that I will contact Revdex.com and Visa and declare the transaction as fraud.

I paid this company $149 to update and rewrite my resume. They sent me a first draft that was completely unacceptable. Grammar, punctuation, formatting, word usage--all very poor. They omitted things from my original resume that were important and made up attributes and talents that had nothing to do with me. They gave me 7 days to edit and get back to them. I made more than 300 edits to their document and sent it back to them, asking for a refund. I received no response for a week, so I called their customer service. I was told that they do not give refunds, but they would assign my resume to another writer. Within 2 days I received another resume that was just as bad as the first one. They even misspelled Hawai'i. They sent me an email saying that I now had a "working document" that I could use to apply for jobs. I would never consider using the resume they provided to apply for a job.

I requested a refund because the resume they delivered was so poorly written I would NEVER use it to apply for employment. I complained to TopResume and all they said was "Sorry, we do not give refunds." This is a poor way to do business. They obviously do not stand behind their product.

Please don’t waste your money on this service. I tried to cancel just a few hours after ordering (saw poor reviews) and no response from them. Next day they sent the resume and cover letter draft. Filled with typos, awkward language, and formatting is terrible. My original resume was much better. Cover letter reads like a cheesy ad. I would be embarrassed to send it to anyone. I’ve called and asked for a refund and customer support were jerks and totally flippant. “All sales are final” and apparently I agreed to that when I gave them my $314. Even though I requested cancellation and a refund before they’d ever sent me anything. This place is a scam. Don’t let them steal your money, too.

I was contacted by a TopResume ad as a professional service for writing Resumes. I bought their top product called Executive Priority for $349, which according to the ad, they provide an executive writer Top 10% of their Netwrok etc. What I got is a rookie that didn't understand my industry and the important keywords and highlights of my career. I had to spend many hours fixing a Resume, she wrote. She also sent me a very generic cover letter, it's obvious that it was a cut and paste exercise! Finally the LinkedIn Makeover promised in the package, was way sub-par, and too embarrassing to use on my LinkedIn page. The quality was poor and a cut&paste. I didnt pay for this service, I paid for high quality so I increase my chances of finding a better job.

A request to complete updated resume was requested. False information was requested by resume writer. A full refund was requested PRIOR to anything being done. No refund has been received. No completed resume has been received.

On Friday January ,2019 I paid TopResume $349 for a resume writing service and an additional $125 for 48 Hr Rush Delivery and a Phone Call Session. To date, Wednesday January ,2019 I have nothing from Top Resume and cannot reach anyone to discuss or cancel my order due to lack of delivery... I’m basically $475.00 into this company who appears to be very unprofessional based on all the very recent Revdex.com complaints I am reading!

TopResume is very dishonest... I can’t and have never been able to speak to anyone in person, which a also paid for. No one from the company has contacted me..
Revdex.com what is the course of action? If it’s nothing, just tell me and stop passing me these lame responses every 10 days. Look at how many similar and like claims have been filed against TopResume.. Still to date, not a soul from TopResumehas contacted me via phone to discuss this matter!!! They are a scam. Period. Take action or don’t but this back and forth they wait until the 10th day and send a message game is nonsense..

Purchased Resume & Cover Letter Service. Got first draft & both were awful ! I asked for revisions on both, they showed me different options & told me to choose new format BUT they all looked the same, simple & not impressive! Looked like templates. I emailed customer service (Christine) six times in 36 hours without any response. I only got a response from Christine after I phoned & asked for a refund. She said, “...we do not offer refunds”

I ordered resume service on Dec ***. They say 5-7 business days to provide resume draft. I waited until the first week in January, still with no resume draft. I then called and was told they would check with my writer who would reach out to me that same day or the next day at the latest. After a couple days went by, I still heard nothing. I called and asked them to cancel my order and refund my money. Then they assigned me a new writer, which I did not want at this point. I responded to the email from my new writer declining his service and asking for my refund. I waited a couple more days and send another message on their website form asking for my refund update. I also send an email requesting my refund. I then called today, Jan ***, and was told that my refund request has not been submitted. Horrible service to begin with in this critical time that I needed resume help. Then after many direct and formal requests for a refund, I am told it still had not even been processed. I would like my refund.

They kept on harassing me to utilize their services, finally they offered 30 percent off so I decided to work with them. What I did NOT know, is that they would put me with someone who did nothing to my resume, did not even align the dates on my resume along with lots of redundancy. They did one fix but they took out stuff I did not even ask them to. Then when I complained they said I could not have my money back and they would put me with a SENIOR writer. They have a LOT of nerve!

I couldn't be more unhappy with the service and the assigned resume writer from TopResume. I had to request to receive the original resume and cover letter drafts, which were finally received on 1/, and still haven't seen the revisions that I requested FIVE days ago. Considering their commitment is to up to two revisions within a 7 day revision period, it would be nice if I'd gotten the first set of revisions back to continue the process. This service was a complete and utter waste of my $200.

Topresume customer service phone number never worked when I tried to call. I also reached out same day by email to cancle and no one ever responded. I have to find another number from somewhere and the person refused to cancle my service and refund me. Stated that I didnt follow their terms and conditions. Those are not clearly written. This has been going on for a month. They have essentially stolen 150 dollars from me.

TIMELINE
11/*** - Submitted my resume for a free review and received GREAT feedback from Katie.
11/*** - Ordered resume package, and was immediately advised they had processed my order has been assigned to a writer.
11/*** - Katie suggested I reach out to her if I have any questions.
11/*** - The writer (Amber) introduced herself. She also told me she was targeting Human Resources Director positions.
11/*** - I advised her I never said Director. I'm looking for an HR Business Partner opportunity.
I reached out to the writer on 11/*** and 11/*** (the deadline that was communicated) at 8:06PM to inquire about the initial draft. I sent another email on 11/*** at 10:22 with a request to cancel my order. I received the initial draft on 11/*** at 13:47 (AFTER I requested the order be cancelled.). I immediately sent Katie an email letting her know I was "not pleased” with the draft. The quality was poor.
12/- Sent an email to *** with my concerns. Again requesting to cancel the order.
12/- Katie sent an email advising I could not get a refund and apologized for the delay. She offered a free Thank You letter for the inconvenience. My response: "The thank you letter would be great if it is written better. I’m not happy with the cover letter at all. I need to clarify. That is only if I am outside of the window to cancel. I do not want the Linked In profile update either, so I need that removed from my order. I’m willing to work with her to get everything done better, but I don’t want anything else." Katie immediately responded back with "Regarding the LinkedIn, because it is included in your package we will need to complete it for you." and let me know she could assign to another writer if I am not happy.
12/- Sent Katie an email to let her know I no longer wanted the LinkedIn Makeover. This was based on my dissatisfaction with the resume. I asked for that portion of my order to be canceled. She responded with "The LinkedIn Makeover is included in the Executive Priority Package we are unable to exclude this service, however I am confident your writer will assist you.”
12/- My feedback was due to the writer. Amber sent an email asking for my feedback and I provided it because I thought she should know I was not satisfied. I also advised her I had been trying to contact Katie.
12/- I sent Katie another email with the copy of the Resume that I received. I also forwarded the feedback given to Amber. Katie said she would reassign my order to another writer.
12/- s*** finally responded. They also apologized for the delay in getting back to me. Their response regarding my concern: "Since our network primarily offers non-tangible, irrevocable goods we do not issue refunds once the order is processed and the services are provided. Please know we are committed to your satisfaction and would like to improve on your documents and strongly believe a writer reassignment for a fresh start with a more seasoned writer will turn your experience around. Please confirm if you are open to this offer and we will proceed accordingly. Otherwise, as a courtesy we can offer to submit a formal partial refund request of 30% for final review, approval and processing by our Management team." I responded with "I'm fine with that. Thank you”.
12/*** @ 11:57AM I sent a letter asking when I should expect to receive the resume. The new writer (Gwen B.) responded 12/*** @ 9:32PM and introduced herself. She said she would contact me shortly if she had questions.
12/*** - Received documents with review deadline for 12/*** (Christmas Day).
12/*** - I sent an email with the following message: "I noticed you had my due date for Christmas Day. Is that a normal practice for you guys?" I received a response saying the dates are computer generated. They also asked if there were revisions I wanted to make. After reviewing the documents I determined things weren't going to get better. The documents were considerably better than the documents the first writer sent over, but clearly not what I feel I paid for.
I commented on several social media posts and the survey they sent. They responded back asking if they could extend my review period to provide a product that was satisfactory. I informed them that I would be filing a formal complaint. I was under the impression I would be working with a professional resume writing service; not one who was "faking it until they make it". I clearly asked for a refund before the original documents were provided, and at this point I think that is the best resolution here. I feel like Katie (***) scammed me and others. I wish I had checked their Revdex.com rating before doing business with them.

Ordered Resume Rabbit job search product. Paid $39.95 for subscription. Once charged, I found that my Malware and Norton security programs on my PC blocked their sign process for "suspicious reasons." I have called them 3 times, and also sent them written complaints 3 times. No response from them.

TopResume is a total scam. I ordered their resume plus 48 hr expedited service. They did not meet the 48 hr promised time, and the worst part they sent me a resume filled with fake companies in locations I have never lived in my life. They are the worst resume company, *** should be put out of business. I have no idea how a company like this is in business. They sent me an resume "review" from a fake person that I emailed several times and never got a response. It is a total bait and switch. If you call them you never get an answer and after you email them several times you don't get any reply.
The resume they sent me had fake job history, spelling and grammar issues and their customer support is non-existent.
This Topresume review is 100% true and you should avoid Topresume at all costs. It is a bait and switch scam and they put fake information into your resume.

Top Resume overpromised and under deliver a resume re-writing service. My resume was taken apart and re-written in a manner that did not give my 20+ banking experience any justice. I complained with the company immediately. They reversed the charge initially. But charged my credit card a second time. By the time I realized it was too late to dispute. They now want to comp me by offering ghe very resume re-writing service I was unhappy with inngbe first place.

The review I received contains abusive insulting comments to make you feel intentionally bad. This is obviously so you will panic and want to use their service. I never even requested this service, they stole my info from another site.

I signed up for a resume writing service and the ONLY THING I GOT was an e-mail with my name, address and telephone filled in on stock resume form with nothing filled in.

Today I had a conversation with a customer service supervisor that informed me they send me three e-mails and they felt that the over $200 they charged was rendered.

My resoponse was well re-open the matter and either provide the service or refund the money. THEY WILL NOT DO ANYTHING FOR ME!!!

I highly advise people to not use their resume service.

I choose this company bc customer service said very knowledgeable in writing resumes for financial services and banking. The resume writer was said to ha e been very experienced with resumes in my area. I was hesitant bc no credentials were given or who I’d be working with. I was assured it would be a great quality resume for a mid level executive and boy was I wrong.

My phone number and email were completely wrong. There were so many spelling mistakes it looked like my 8 year old son wrote it. The format was very blend and vanilla something that a novice created.

I was sold something completely different that what was offered.
