Cantilevered deck was unstable/unsafeContractor found termite damage and Terminix has refused to pay for any damages despite having service policy
We have been a continuous client of Terminix since we built this house in and previous to that, had their service at our other homeWe have had intermittent termite and dryrot problems with the cantilevered deck Over the past year, the deck became unstable as a result of continued "patchwork" repairs with "sistering" of the cantilevered beamsI had a contractor evaluate the situation and he would not touch the work without having a structural engineer evaluate it and the result was that the support was too damagedNot realizing there was major termite damage, I hired a contractor to completely remove the decking, put stringers up as well as support poles up to hold new deck as per the plan from the structural engineerThey started the work on 1/15/Unfortunately, that day I flew to PA due to the serious illness and subseque

I called terminex in March of they told me they guarantee there work for bed bugs and the freeze treatment they have been out to my house 4times

The Terminix Company did not fulfill conditions of contract or terms of an arbitration agreement

Multple No-show for appointments
On separate occasions Terminix set up appointments and never showed up
Thee 1st time there was a scheduled appointment for a free termite inspection offered by the sales representativeThe appointment was set for Saturday in the AMThe technician never showed upI called to ask several times and left a voice mailNever heard back from them

The quality of work has declined drastically within the last few yearsThe technicians are not well trained and they do not have a systematic protocol to followWhen you ask for a different technician, they ignore your request and send the same one
The Mosquito treatments are totally useless
Recently, when you call Terminix, it takes forever to be able to talk to an agentThe call hold time is ridiculousThey either want to deliberately avoid talking to you or they are getting so many calls/complains, that they cannot answer the calls in a reasonable time

On June 6, I signed up for pest control service with Alterra Pest Control and has the first treatment done on 6/10/for the initial reduced fee of $ I was told there would be quarterly treatment after that for $but if I saw evidence of ants or spiders before the quarter was over to call them and they would return to retreat the houseThey came for the first quarterly treatment on 7/9/but since I wasn't home then I had to have them return on 7/22/to retreat the crawl space under the house that was locked at the time of the visit After this visit I was still seeing ants and spider webs so I had them return again on 8/15/and still had pest problems so they came back again on 8/29/ After this visit I STILL saw spider webs in the house and on our back deck which is on the second floor of the house, and was still seeing ants in the bathroom I decided then to cancel the service as it obviously was not effective and I couldn't afford to keep arranging to b

From the moment I called your company to help with a rodent problemYour salesman lied to me about the extinction programSaying it was a three year program when I come to find out months later it is one year with year of add on service if you wantThen he over charged me and added attic insulation to my bill which I never orderedOn top of that, he never gave me a contractHe forgot and never came back to give it to me or email me it when he said he wouldThen when I caught on to the gross over paymentI spent days trying to fix itThe problem was that he put my account under a wrong nameNO ONE could find me! STEVE never called me back to let me know any updatesI called him and he tried to apologize for not following up with my case with his bossSteve was "busy" and could not find time to ask his boss for an answer

I don't think soUnfortunately terminix does not guarantee a product that failed to work and seems to not care anything about taking the customer's money they charge for a service they fails to performThey refuse to reimburse the money to transfer the bond nor will they tent the house with live termitesWe are very unhappy and feel that a major corporation has taken advantage of the customerMy advice is to not trust them with protecting your home from termites

I had automatic quarterly service set up with TerminixOn my last appointment, I was working from home on a conference call and unable to answer the door I witnessed the technician standing in my yard for a minute, and then he sat in his vehicle for the rest of the appointment He charged my credit card for the full service I contacted Terminix and they agreed to cancel my account but told me I had to ask for a credit through my local office I could never reach them so I ended up disputing this with my bank Terminix is now contacting me for a late payment, I don't want to pay for something that I didn't actually receive, but they threaten to report you to credit bureaus It won't end!

Irresponsible employees and liersWont be doing business with Terminix anymore, I had this company tent my home trusting it would be in good hands do to Terminix reputation and was left with roof tiles broken, and was never informed, I found out because it rained for daysThen customer service was useless, I contacted them times and I never saw results, same story all the time, "if they dont contact me, call back"Finally the employee that tent my house called me and was very unprofessional, called back was told they were gonna replace the tiles and months past and no signs from terminixDO NOT SIGN WAYVERS THEY USE THAT AS AN EXCUSE TO DAMAGE YOUR PROPERTY

Have had an ant problem since the beginning of spring My service technician was amazing He gave me his personal mobile number should I continue to need him for additional ant service He said you will want to keep this number b/c you will have problems getting another appointment scheduled Boy was he right Of course he left the company for a new career and I have had the worst service since When I called for a tech to come to my home to service ants they gave me a guy in Indiana ( I live in northern Illinois) He called me and even questioned why he got me as a customer He was so nice that he was going to call his manager to figure out what went wrong I write this as I talk to Cameron, a customer service rep as he tries to assist me I have paid up front mosquito service and they have come once Two months ago!!! AS Cameron was trying to transfer me to a manager he disconnected me! Don't use this service!!! #terminixsucks
