We bought a house and paid to take over the "termite bond" that has been on the house for yearsWe started to renovate and found A LOT of termite damage to a load bearing wall, around door frames, and even have personally seen live termites since around different areas of the houseAfter terminix refused multiple times to come and take care of the damage and calling for over weeks requesting a call from a manager, finally a manager visited our homeWe showed him the damaged studs that had been removed only for him to tell us that they only treat and don't take care of damageWhen we showed him the studs with damage he told us the damage was older then th year old bond Guarantee? I don't think soUnfortunately terminix does not guarantee a product that failed to work and seems to not care anything about taking the customer's money they charge for a service they fails to performThey refuse to reimburse the money to transfer the bond nor will they tent the house with live termitesWe are very unhappy and feel that a major corporation has taken advantage of the customerMy advice is to not trust them with protecting your home from termites

Terminix treated my home without my consent A Terminix sales rep came to my home trying to sell a home pest control service package contract I told him we have a local company we already use Terminix then showed up at my home and treated it without myself being home and without any written consent to do so I did not sign anything authorizing this work to be done and now receive bills from Terminix

Manager Amir cancelled my agreement without knowledge to me, after being rude and condescending to me, and failed to give me a refund On December 12, 2016, Terminix manager Amir cancelled my service agreement without knowledge to me after being rude and condescending to me regarding a complaint about lateness of the exterminator aka technician On December 10, 2016, a Terminix technician was to come to my home between 2pm-4pm for initial pest control, as per Master Agreement #: XXXX-XXXXXXX and Work Order #: XXXXXXXXXXX The technician failed to show up on time and showed up an hour late at 5PM I spoke to several people at Terminix, and lastly manager Amir I asked MrAmir for a refund of $118.67, but at no time did I request that he cancel the agreement for pest control In reviewing my e-mail dated December 12, at 11:PM, I found that MrAmir unilaterally cancelled the agreement for quarterly pest control and also charged my debit card in the amount of $ Mr

Hired company to do exclusion/pest control workIt was not done correctly and I have spent months trying to schedule follwith no answer On December 23rd, Terminix employees came out to provide exclusion and pest control servicesThey rushed through the job, saying they needed to come back to fix screening in the attic and remove temporary metal flashingThis never occurred and was never scheduledBefore leaving, they indicated if rodents were heard, call them and they would come back and do more work (all included as part of the initial service - $for exclusion, $for pest control) On January 23rd, after repeated calls and texts, a Terminix inspector came to follon my complaints of continuing to hear rodents in the walls and atticHe, [redacted] , was "disappointed" at the job the exclusion crew had done and said they needed to come back and finish the jobThis was also never scheduled or completed I have repeatedly texted and called my Terminix sa

My son contacted Terminix to get rid of fleas in our house However, they came to our house two times but have not completed the service My son and I were being bit in our house and the dermatologist said we had fleas We treated our dogs and sprayed the house using products from [redacted] On 7/13/my son contacted Terminix to get rid of fleas and they said they could send a person on either the 7/14/or 7/15/ On 7/14/a Terminix man came to our house but sprayed regular service, even though he knew we had fleas We asked many questions about his service and he said we would see results in a weekHowever, this did not help the situation We were still getting bit while sitting in chairs and sleeping in beds My son contacted the company again on 7/17/and the Terminix person said that the man did not follow the correct procedures She sent us the agenda of what to do and what to expect for the next Terminix service call She said she was going to send someone

Claiming to get rid of bedbugs within months and not continuing to rid the condo unit In September Terminix was hired to rid unit of bedbugs The service man came once a week for octand nov In December there was no more nesting but "residue" was seen in areas The technician stated that unless I saw a few bugs or a cluster I should not be concerned "RESIDUE" turned into a hidden cluster by April When called to continue treatment the manager and the inspector Mr.Hill stated that my case was closed in December and now was too late to "continue"I would have to pay another $1,for a month treatment Also their mattress bag cover separated at the seam The inspector stated the cluster was near the seam not in the opening Now I do not know if my mattress is considered "covered & impervious to infestation" I cannot sleep comfortably at night and have a nervous condition that continues to fester since I have to sleep on this issu

The national phone line promised prices and services but then the individual, local Terminix businesses did't stand by them Talking to them was like dealing with a shady used car saleman Got a referral from friend who is on a quarterly pest plan and has a house twice my size His service includes insects and pest animals for $quarterly We were both supposed to get Amazon gift cards for the referral Local office quoted me almost $70/mo for same service until I told them what my friend paid They asked for his phone number, looked up his account and then said they would give me same deal but for $for first quarter then the $80/quarter Guaranteed me they would address my mole problem also Service guy came out and said it was $first quarter then $80/quarter and they didn't do moles He told me I had to sign a contract for that price to get the service without mole control that day I told him I would call Terminix and could he wait? He said they wouldn't be able to help me on a Saturday but I decided to call anyway I was put on hold and he said he had more stops so I asked him if he could circle back to me if I got the price straightened out on the phone and he said he could Talked to rep on phone who said first quarter price should have been $but $discount had not been applied Also said they would get the mole situation straightened out and he was going to call the technician to update him He couldn't get through to technician so he said he had left him a message to call me and come back out Got call later that afternoon from tech saying he couldn't make it back out but to call and reschedule I called and rescheduled for the following Saturday (today) and was visited by Joan B [redacted] , Senior Inspector and started explaining the whole communication fiasco to her She flat out said I was misquoted and that if I wanted service it would be $200+ today and $120+ per quarter I opened my front door and told her to get out of my houseI would never recommend Terminix to anyone Very unreliable communication and no integrity in regards to the price/service quote they negotiated with me

After using the Terminix website to schedule an appointment for a free termite inspection I began receiving daily phone calls from the following number (***) [redacted] Sometimes I'd get more than one call from this number in a day Mysteriously, no message would ever be left, yet these calls continued On March 30, I called Terminix, calling (***) [redacted] , to ask to them to stop calling me The first person hung up on me after I said, "stop calling me", the second person refused to stop calling me and then proceeded to argue that I had called them during that very moment in time, and the third person put my number, (***) [redacted] , on their do not call list At this point it is my understanding that Terminix will no longer call me (I will file a second complaint with the Revdex.com if this turns out not to be the case) Product_Or_Service: Free termite inspection

I called and scheduled an appointment for Terminix to come out and help me with my squirrel problemI specifically stated that I have a squirrel stuck in between my walls and it cannot get out on its ownThe rep over the phone said - Yes, we can quote and help you with that once we are on site The next day Terminix shows up to inform me that they cannot destroy my property and the only way they can help me is to provide the exclusion service(staring at the wall as we can clearly hear a desperate squirrel stuck behind it)After that, they proceed to brake my shelf as they are climbing up into the attic to check the insulation By the time I got somebody who actually knows what they are doing (the next day), the squirrel was already dead The only positive thing about this whole story is that the contractors that Terminix uses to clean up the mess they create did a pretty good job fixing my shelf
