I had set up service with Terminix with the understanding that it would cover Carpenter AntsThis was the ONLY pest I specified and was assured that the $per visit service would cover themWell, I pay for an entire year and this years first service was doneMy son was looking over the paperwork left by the tech and found a surpriseThe service EXCLUDES Carpenter AntsWownot a good experience to find out I paid for an entire year and it wasn't even the correct treatment

My name is *** ***, I am a regular customer with Terminix On Friday, May 20, 2016, I had a scheduled appointment with Terminix between the hours of 1:pm to 3:pm My wife was home during this time and she stated that the Terminix technician never showed up to our house to spray for insects Friday night I got an e-mail from Terminix stating that the scheduled work was performed and wanted to know our experience with the service I called the local Terminix business and requested to speak to the supervisor by the name of Dale Lawson I haven't heard from MrLawson yet When I call the office, I'm being put on hold
The work previously done by Terminix didn't work, the insects are still in the house This is why we had them scheduled to come back out on May 20th My

Terminex is not following through on their contract agreement and standard service agreement currently advertised on the websiteI've had an issue with a possible rodent in my attic, called Terminex to have someone come out to asset the issueWhen the service person arrived he did not go up to the attic as he said it was a hazardous to go into attics Its strange because on April, 16, 2016, I paid $for a residential exclusion at the request of an inspector who had gone up to the attic to check for signs of any animal activityHe conclusion was that there was no current evidence but its best to be proactive so I agreed to the service and paid the billThe service tech came out, sealed areas with some type of wire netting; it held up appx for about a year then my husband had to patch up the areas againThis was a one year agreement so its since expired; however, my standard agreement is still active I've made several attempts to ask for service, traps, inspection to see wh

Terminix in *** *** Gaithersburg, MDI live in the Silver Spring, MDTerminix have the worst customer serviceThey have changed my schedule without informing meOn the appointment date, after waiting for two hours never shows up and does not bother to even callThey have done this to me on more than one occasionThe customers' time is not important for Terminix!!

I have received sub-standard service
Several days after my home was exterminated for active termites, more active termites were found in the area A Terminix inspector returned to my home, where it was determined that the exterminator did not spray under the house as requested and paid for The earliest date for an exterminator to return is a day where I have plans to be out of town On the back of already being cheated and taken advantage of once, I cannot trust them to rerurn and perform the service while I am away

I have requested a home evaluation since February and no representative has showed up or call to give my requestThis is bad business
If this is a company that supply customer needs I feel they should do just suchThere is no reason why I should be calling this company or times just to request a show of serviceThe appointments are set, but no one shows upI call to complain just for someone to tell me they are checking on it and that I will receive a return phone call that I never receive

This company is terrible They have very deceptive practices and employees that are deceitful and blatant liars My issue, the same as many others, cancelled service and billed for work never doneI too stopped the technician who showed up unannounced before he exited his vehicle, I relayed to him that as of May my year of service was complete and I was not renewing He left without saying anything or doing anything As he was driving away, I called Terminix to make sure the service was cancelled and low and behold I was told I was charged for the non-service performed that day Lee from customer service told me that the charge put through could not be cancelled by him but future auto pay charges would be stopped and account cancelled He said he would forward my request to the manager for reversal of this charge Jennifer from Terminix calls day later I have to repeat issue to her and she says "I need to talk to Technician" She calls back next day to say "good news your account now closed but that tech says he completed work and charge will remain" I say please escalate to her manager - she says okay She calls back 1/hour later to say her manager says "sorry but charge will remain", I ask to speak to him, she says she will forward my request to him but doubts it will change anything his decision was final And she doubted he would call either So much for customer service Never use this company

Failure to provide timely fumigation of home for active termite infestation
Appointment made in May for fumigation the following week Double bagged all groceries and perishables then vacated property for one week, as per instructions from salesman We prepared ground with trenches for tenting to obtain good seal, per salesman
Fumigation did not take place in May, but was rescheduled for June Had to unwrap all groceries and move back in with active termites

I set up an appointment for Terminix to come to my house on 06/04/Their sales rep, Daniel C*** came to my house on 06/09/He had told me about spraying for termites and a pest control system they could install to help with antsHe told me there were different payment options, but it was a lot cheaper to pay it in fullI told him I would think about it and get back to himI called him 6/20/and told him I would like to get it set up and pay in fullI was using my mother's credit card to make the payment in fullHe told me the total amount would be $He told me to text him the front and back of my mom's credit card and he would process the paymentI received an email 6/that the credit card had been charged $Text Daniel and asked him why and he said "I'll have to get that fixed for some reason it put a renewal on there, I'll have my manager fix it in the morning." Service contract signed 4/11/ Unable to get termite bait systems serviced due to road closure near my home

This company is committing unlawful practices by using phone numbers and addresses that were not authorized to attempt communication on NON delinquent accountsBeware they steal this info from payments made on the account and will call, mail and harass those numbers and addressesThey state that it was provided but after testing out the issue we found that there is no authorization button after a payment is made to contact that card info which means there was never verbal agreementYou would be better off with a small local company that really cares about you and your property and not about bad business practices and micromanaging

I'm a Maryland Terminix Pest Control customerTheir pest control scheduling system has been a problem for yearsI'll be scheduled for a day and time, and without notice they will change it to a different day or time and never tell me about itI'll get a confirmation a couple of days before and the night before of my day and time, and when there's no sign of them I'll call and find out I've been rescheduled - sometimes to a day and time I can't be home so I have to reschedule again and start this whole process againThe techs who come to do my pest control are good - it's the scheduling that's a problemI don't know which of the Terminix offices in Maryland is in control of my location

We had Terminix out to fix a bee issue and they quoted us a YEAR program paid quarterly We asked very specific questions to the sales rep about renewal and payments He responded that it was NOT auto renewal so we signed upFlash forwarded year and Terminix renewed which means the sales rep lied When I called Teminix to clarify and see if they would help work with us the two people we talked to gave conflicting reasons and the 2nd person was completely rude and dared me to try and take action It was a very odd interaction as a customer The service itself was OK but the sales tactics of hiding details in fine print and and having reps explain otherwise is misleading Also, if it does auto renew, have that as a feature to adjust on the online customer dashboard

On 5/Stacy W** from Terminix came to inspect my current termite protection & after looking under my crawl space explained that Terminix offered a complete encapsulation service which would "guarantee" no more water problems under my houseI indeed have had major water problems under my crawl space & was excited about the idea of having a "guarantee" that if I had "ANY" water problems under the crawl space again (after buying encapsulation product/service from Terminix) it would be financially covered by Terminix
