The service tech provided graphic information about the eradication process that resulted in the tenant moving out of the apartment immediately
On October 5th, we signed a contract with Termenix to eradicate bed bugs that were being reported by tenants of an apartment building that we own (Contract #: ***-***) The sales representative/Inspector that was addressing the situation (with my wife) was named *** In responding to my wife's inquiry about the treatment process, Mr*** response was - "once it gets this bad, you're better off burning the house down." While we thought that was somewhat unprofessional of him to say, we simply passed it off as his attempt to make light of the situation We weren't amused

Terminix reported me to collections in error THey never corrected and do not call me back This is a terrible company

Terminix overcharged me for bed bug service and failed to provide the necessary advice to make the service effective

It was the opinion of the customer that the hole in the protector voided the integrity of the treatment and the company should retreat the apartment againDuring a discussion with custom

Continually receive spam emails from this companyI have unsubscribed multiple time, not that I had ever subscribed in the first placeI still keep receiving spam almost daily

I wish I could leave starsThis organization is does not take timely action during infestation situations, lies to it customers under contract with claimed service, and does not honor its service windowsThis amounts to taking my money for no service provided while further inconveniencing me as a customer by saying that they will arrive in a certain window, providing NO communication of inability to make the appointment, and NEVER showing upThis is made worse by customer service claiming service was provided when there are both witnesses and plat growth that would have made this IMPOSSIBLE

A few months back in May I had a guy come out to inspect my floors because there getting ruined even though my house was tented and treatedHe saw and said there will be an appraiser getting with me in weeks (never happened) then *** accent out another guy to drill holes and treat my floors in which he said they're going to send someone out to look underneath my house for subterranean termites (never happened) i've been calling and talking with so many different employees throughout the month promising a scheduling or callback and it (never happends.) Meanwhile my new floors are getting ruined

Terminix never showed up to their inspection appointment, although I confirmed this appointment with them two times priorCustomer service was RUDE and UNAPOLOGETIC without a reason for not coming for the appointment Her reasoning was "let's not file a complain and go with the easier way, which is to make another appointment

Alterra Pest Control sends agents around door-to-door offering their pest services for a very low introductory price and very persistent salesmenYou must read the paperwork carefully since there is a minimum price for their service so if you don't like what they do and cancel after the first treatment, they will want to charge that minimum charge and for me it was $I tried to cancel within a week after the first treatment and was subjected to more high pressure sales and stalling tacticsI thought I had things resolved when I got a phone call telling me the were sending someone to treat my yardI caught the guy before he started and sent him on his way and called the company and told them I did not want their serviceI was told about the minimum charge and I told them I still wanted to cancelThere was a charge on my card so I thought we were doneI then got another phone call that a person would be coming out to treat my houseI called before they sent anyone and told

I was notified by my landscaper that I may have a termite problem on the side of my home I have a contract with Terminix in Gulf Shores who I immediately calledAn appointment was scheduled for 4/27/ They did not show no did they call to say they were not coming I again made an appointment for 5/3/and again they did not come out nor did they call I was told that their Manager Jim would look into this and personally call me He never calledAnother appoint was made for 5/10/with promises that that they would definitely show up and that Jim was busy but would call You guessed it they again did not show up, nor did they call to say they would not and still no call from the manager As a last resort I called Corporate customer service who said they will resole this problem and get someone out to treat my bug problemWhen my contract is up I will be switching to another company Its a shame as I had Terminix for a number of years in two of my other homes and all my experiences were positiveIt's true you can have a great service but people make the difference
