On June 28, 2016, a representative of Terminix came to our home to complete an estimate and ultimately a contract for pest control service
*** *** was the specialist who came to our home He talked with my husband and took notes to complete a contract that was then emailed to us He and my husband discussed everything we were interested in having regarding pest control (carpenter ants, wasps, and voles/moles in the yard) *** stated that they could "take care of that" and my husband gave him a credit card payment of $for the initial service with the contract to be for $for quarterly service The contract that we received DID NOT include pest control After several telephone calls to various numbers, we finally reached *** *** again on July 13, (after messages were supposedly sent on July to *** and someone else from a Terminix call center asking for a call back and received none) The service was performed on July and the technician stated he c

In August I met with a sales representative who quoted a price to do a pest exclusion and insulation replacement in our attic At that time, the rep indicated all attic insulation would be removed and replaced The service was performed, but not all attic insulation was removed as indicated, as the service personnel determined it was not necessary I have maintained that I am ok with this assessment but would like the charge to be reduced as the originally described work was not performed I have spoken repeatedly with branch managers asking for an itemized bill as well as reduction in the charged fee I have yet to receive any responses other than "looking into" the problem and failed promises of return calls

My husband and I have contacted Terminix numerous time to have them come out due to a big problem we have in our living room and the occasional ants in the houseWe scheduled an appointment for 4/23/between the hours of 4-6, we were out that day and made sure we returned home before because we had Terminix come out only to find out they had already came around and only sprayed the front even though our concern was the back and the inside of the houseWe ended up purchasing a bug spray at the storeWe again stared seeing ants and spiders so we called again and took the first available appointment for 6/17/from 2-My husband and I both work but arranged for someone to come so that we would wouldn't miss our appointmentAt around 6pm I called Terminix to find out if someone was still coming, they basically said they didn't know there was no show no call and that someone would contact

I give this company a star ratingtimes I called, times I gave my phone number, times we got disconnected, and times I never got a call back I was a potential new customer, but instead I called *** who has reviews with a star rating, and got same day inspection

Terminix debited my bank account 8/29/$with out my permissionI paid on line of $toward my balance of what I owed on 8/5/
On 7/5/Terminix came and sprayed the house for Bug issuesThey informed me that the *** was $and my roommate was going to pay it but at the last minutes she said no So on 7/8/I called to make payment arrangementsTerminix stated their Financial department would call me to apply for assistance No one ever called and I called again at the end of July and they the same thing someone would call meOn 8/5/I went on Terminix website and put my bank information and made a payment of $and on 8/29/Terminix took an unauthorized payment out of $with my permissionBy Terminix doing that my bank account was put into the negative with additional fees attached and I made several calls asking to reverse it back and I would make payments to them until it was paid off and said no They refused to return the funds and

We were told by customer service that Terminix could handle a raccoon issue in addition to our regular service Technician arrived unable to provide
We had been terminix customers for about years when we developed a raccoon problem in our attic We called Terminix to see if they could provide additional service for raccoons They said they could help us and claimed they would have a local manager call back After not hearing back, I called again Finally, a date was set for a technician to come An additional technician arrived for our regular service He said we would need to repair damage to the side of our house and wait for snow to melt before raccoon inspector could come We had repairs done and rescheduled the appointment When no one showed up, I called to reschedule, Finally, a technician arrived and told us Terminix does not handle raccoons We called customer service to complain We were told that a manager named Peter H*** would contact us to straighten

In January 2015, I got an exclusion done to prevent the squirrels coming to my attic It's been a nightmare that wouldn't go awayThey been out again in the winter of January since the squirrels are backThey said they found a few more gaps that maybe the problem how the squirrels were getting back inBut now it's January the squirrels are back againI spent thousands of dollars to get this fix but it has not been resolvedI been trying to call customer service to get someone from the branch to call me backNo one seems to have done thatIt's been over a week still no one called to follow up with meCustomer service and the product is horribleWhen they want to earn your business they will call and contact you immediatelyOnce they got your money they are no where to be foundVery disappointed with the quality of service and product that was provided from Terminix

Service was scheduled for 5/18/in the AM time frame Three separate were made by customer to business on afternoon of 5/18/on whereabouts of service Agents that answered the phone were unable to provide any type of update on service arrival and we were placed on hold for over minutes on each of the three attempts At no time did service take place nor was an explanation given to why the company missed the service date.Initial phone call during the week of May 23rd it was reported by the agent on the phone that service was completed During this phone call I explained that service was not completed The agents explained that she "opened the work ticket" in order to read the service notes She stated that 'Thursday May 19th service was completed, the Terminex employee documented of minutes of service provided.'Since the week of May 23rd Several calls have been made requesting a cash refund for $paid on May 13th for service that did not take place AND the the amoun

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND LACK OF COMMUNICATION
I called Terminix on 8/6/because of an ant problem in my homeThe customer service rep took my informationI asked him about plans and payment and he stated that the technician will go over all of that once they come out to do a free consultationThe rep asked me what type of issues I were havingI explained I had an ant problemHe proceeded to inform me that in order to reserve my appointment I need to provide a credit card numberI provided the agent with my credit card informationMy appointment was scheduled for 8/8/between 1:00p - 5:00pOn 8/8/2018, I receive a call @ 8:30a from a lady with Terminix stating she is enroute to my houseMy doorbell rung around 10:00a and a Terminix tech was at my doorHe came in with his equipment and asked where I was having the issueAs I am showing him where the issue is, my doorbell rings and there is another tech at my residenceShe tells me she is there to inspect for termite

After using the Terminix website to schedule an appointment for a free termite inspection I began receiving daily phone calls from the following number (***) *** Sometimes I'd get more than one call from this number in a day Mysteriously, no message would ever be left, yet these calls continued On March 30, I called Terminix, calling (***) ***, to ask to them to stop calling me The first person hung up on me after I said, "stop calling me", the second person refused to stop calling me and then proceeded to argue that I had called them during that very moment in time, and the third person put my number, (***) ***, on their do not call list At this point it is my understanding that Terminix will no longer call me (I will file a second complaint with the Revdex.com if this turns out not to be the case)

I recently had a termite inspection with rep Tim, young fellow too pushy in character, came in and start BS on how I might not pass inspection, the building was made in 1960's remodel xbefore 10/was again redone completelycame to port that appears tar came thru a slap on roof the guy called a mole of fungusthen on the carport saw or view a little paint peeling started to puch on plywood until it became loose, yet causing the fault and deminor saying that they can fix the problem, yet they or he cause the problem, I would not recommend this company for any thing or even repairs fraud is my commentStay away from this company highly BS and pushynone trust worthy also stole informational sheets from my desk(2) person to do one inspection never heard of such a scam

I have never placed a complaint for any company but I am extremely frustrated with this company right now First of all there are no local phone numbers to contact anyone if you need return service I called the pest control technician times and left a voice mail with no return call Next I called the 800# and got put on hold for over minutes the first times and the 3rd time when I called I got hung up on The fourth call after I waited again for over minutes someone finally answered and they could not set an appointment with me so they told me that someone would call me back I still have not received a call back from anyone I don't know how to get service that I paid for! This company obviously does not need my business! I would not recommend this company to anyone! Please be aware that when you have problems there will be no one to talk to! I even got online and started a chat and they refused to give me the local managers phone number They told me they would have him call me back I will be asking for my money back and will never do business with this company again I don't know how a company can stay in business if they do not have a local number?

I have tried contacting your Alterra times in the last month to cancel ALL service with themThe only way to do so is via a phone number - locally XXX-XXX-XXXXI leave my name, address, and phone number and no one ever respondsI called Terminix, who acquired Alterra, last yearThey were unhelpful - even rude - and repeated told me to call Alterra since none of their customer databases have been shared with Terminix (as of May 26, 2016)I provided my Alterra account number, phone number, name, and address, but Terminix had none of the information.Terminix would also not provide any other means of contacting Alterra as I requested at a minimum an email address or phone number of an executive who could take action (Terminix: "We don't have any of that information")I am FURIOUS as they have also billed me for a service that I have declined via voicemail

Was told I was signing up for a one time service, but was unwittingly roped into getting a subscription service
When I signed the contractThe way it was explained to me was that If I called him back and asked to stay on it would carry on a subscription serviceOtherwise it would be cancelledI had no intent of getting anything more than a one time spraying of my rental propertyI do not feel I should have to pay for a service I did not want, even If I was baited into signing a contract
The salesman misrepresented the terms of the contract in the plainest terms possibleBait and switch comes to mindI shouldn't be forced into a payment because of a poorly trained or dishonest salesman

I have had service with Terminix for years where they come out on a quarterly basis, they bill be after and I pay the bill For my most recent service before I canceled it, they came approximately weeks early for my quarterly service (on 08/30/18), when they should have come the third week of September I was then billed $for that service After I received the bill, I contacted customer service to let them know that I did not authorize for them to come three weeks early and that I did not believe that I should be billed for the service I also canceled any additional service The customer service rep said that the bill was taken off and I did not owe any additional amount She apologized that they came so early without my approval

I purchased a TERMITE policy with Terminix back in I then had the house tentedI am assuming that Terminix did the annual termite inspection as specified in the contract, though I never received a reportI have paid yearly for this service and even received certificates congratulating me on the coverageI now have termite damage and TERMINIX will not honor the contract suggesting I have the wrong type of termitesMrL***, in the Salinas office, returned one phone call though he was informed numerous times by the corporate office in Memphis TN that I wished to resolve this situation The corporate office did inform me the local manager had the authority to make the decision to tent our houseMrL*** denied this.The corporate office continually shuffled me to different agents,none of whom resolved the issue other than to tell me I had the wrong termitesI have had this TERMITE Policy since I now have termites, no resolution, and am cancelling my policy with TERMINX .Anyone thinking of signing a contract for TERMITE control should think twice about signing with TERIMINIX as they DO NOT HONOR their own contract!

Terminix showed up to my house by mistake on (July/August 18) but I agreed to a one time treatment of my lawn November 2018, I get a text message from a employee requesting to schedule another serviceI responded back thru text message "Negative I'll schedule appointment at a later dateThe employee said it was mandatory and I didn't respond to the message thinking it was overOn November 16th, I received a text message stating service was completed without my knowledge or consent and drafted $from my accountI contacted the service rep and told them about my situation was advised that the service was mandatory since I signed a contract I never signed a contract and they didn't have my e-mail on fileThe rep said she would contact the service manager to follow up with my claimThe rep called back and confirmed no contracted was ever signed no refund would be awarded to meI explained to the rep that was not fair and you have a he said vs he said storyDuring our conversation the rep stated I should have canceled the appointment after I received the e-mail notificationWell guess what they never had my e-mail because no contract was signedI did give them my e-mail after the fact because I wanted something in writing so they won't try to screw me over againLast thing my camera's show no vehicle/person the day it was serviced and my backyard is secured with a lock

After using Terminix as a quarterly pest control company for many years, I called them for a termite inspection prior to selling my home in Mission Beach, CA The man came out and placed identical termite wings in different spots in my house He then said that I needed to tent my house and my neighbor's house for termites None of this was true He lied completely about the existence of termites in my home, as determined by other pest control companies I had do the same inspection He just wanted to get a commission, because if he doesn't find anything, he gets nothing Additionally, he refused to leave the house unless the realtor's representative paid him on the spot The service is supposed to be paid at the close of escrow He was so inappropriate that he followed her to the office and continued to insist on payment then and there I called and tried to speak to someone many times The only one I got thru to was the sales manager who just said he would talk to the inspector, but do nothing about his lies

Scheduled an appointment with terminix, guy never showed up and I received a phone call for a survey on the job When called the company back, long waits then finally got connected with the service rep He was nowhere near my meighboorhood and claimed that he left messages on my phone with a price quote No voice mails or missed calls Not reliable and overpriced
