complaint and will address her claims below We are an elite matchmaking firm and we specialize in assisting singles in finding their special someoneWe have seasoned matchmakers who have been in this industry for a long time and have helped various couples find one anotherWe explain to our clients that we are matching them with those who are most mutually compatible with them in the hopes of creating a connectionOur only wish is success for all our clients, Ms*** included We met with Ms*** for an interview and presented our different package options to choose from, since she was interested in our programShe selected the one that best suited her needsSometimes the Relationship Specialists who interview our clients may think of someone who could possibly be a good fit for those clientsOnce their profile is complete and our matchmakers compare and contrast all information they can determine whether or not two people are truly compatible (according to our system and their profiles) When our clients receive a match, they are notified via e-mail and via their Texas Singles’ accountThey are sent a brief description of their match which includes the contact information for that person, so they can contact one another and agree on a date to meet each another Our matchmakers found a man named *** who showed to be very compatible with Ms***, according to their profile information and compatibility questionnaire they completedHowever, it appears there was not the connection we had hoped forMs*** was disappointed in this gentleman due to the nature of his conversation during their dateWe apologized on behalf of *** and agreed to “bonus back” this match for Ms*** (this means she will receive an additional match at no additional charge)Even though the work had been performed, we wanted to do the right thing and keep Ms*** happy We then matched Ms*** with someone new and Ms*** apparently already met this man through a dating siteShe was disappointed again and we agreed not to count this match We discussed a new gentleman with Ms*** and she said he “sounded great”, but she wanted to put her program on hold for a whileWe told her we would be here when she was ready to reactivate her account Ms*** then contacted us and said she was having an attorney look over her agreement with usThe Relationship Specialist who signed up Ms*** for our services spoke with Ms*** on 8/The Specialist offered to discuss her situation with our Regional Manager and come up with options for Ms***, but she declinedShe then offered for her to come in and sit with our Client Services Manager one on one, but she declinedMs*** stated that she would check with her credit card company and go from thereWe explained how the process normally works with a charge-backMs*** said she would find out for herself and get back with usWe still have not heard back from her, nor have we received a credit card dispute as of yetPlease note that Ms*** signed an agreement which states that the fee she paid is non-refundableAlso, Ms*** signed a client obligation form which states that she agrees to meet all of her purchased matches in order to give our company the full opportunity to meet her expectations of the programShe also agrees not to contact any outside agencies before trying to resolve any issues with our staff We would also like to mention that we provided Ms*** with our Regulations pamphlet when she joined our servicesShe also agreed in her agreement that she had time to review these Regulations and ask any questionsIn these Regulations, it states under paragraph #3: "Compatibility is very subjective and that we will send you referrals we deem, in our sole and absolute discretion as "likely most mutually compatible" as indicated in your singles dataThe final determination to meet a referral is yours and yours aloneYou understand and agree that we will supply you referrals on an as available basisBecause we try to send compatible referrals, you understand and agree that there is no way for us to predict the frequency and time frame of each referralHowever, we will search on your behalf on a monthly basis, but we will only match you with others that we feel you are compatible withYou further understand that no two people are generally perfectly compatible and agree that we will use our best judgment in providing referrals that most nearly match your requirements." ***Per the information above, we explain that we are matching our clients with those we feel are most compatible and we are using our best judgment when providing referralsAlso, under paragraph #in our Regulations it states: "You understand and agree that simply because you choose to meet with a single that we have referred to you does not mean that such single will agree to meet with youIt is impossible for us to guarantee that any single to whom you have been referred will agree to meet with youYou understand that you will not like everyone you meet and that some of those you meet may not like you." ***As you can see, we explain that our clients will not like everyone they meetWe try to give our clients realistic expectations in regards to their program We know that finding someone special is important to Ms*** and we are trying to help her in her search for a companionWe ask that she continues and gives her program a real chanceAs we To Whom It May Concern, We are in receipt of Ms*** complaintThank you for bringing this matter to our attentionWe will focus on Ms*** individual experience with our program and the services which have been provided thus farEveryone has a different experience with our program.Ms
*** joined our services in SeptemberThe Relationship Specialist who signed her up for our services is very fond of Ms*** and said wonderful things about her from the interviewShe had a strong feeling there is someone special out there for herAny man would be lucky to meet herSince Ms*** showed an interest in our program, her Specialist presented our package options to choose fromMs*** selected the one she desiredOnce she left our office, we immediately began working for her and were excited to assist her in finding someone special.Shortly thereafter, on 10/2, we received a Retrieval Request for her charge, which was “legal process or fraud analysis”Ms*** also happened to call and leave a messageWe called her back and she inquired about canceling and asked if she would be eligible for a refundWe asked her why she was inquiring, and she said she might start working at a new hospital and may meet new people that wayWe explained that the more avenues she has, the better the odds are of meeting the right personShe agreedShe mentioned she was just curiousWe reminded her about the non-refundable clause in her agreement and explained why the fee is not refundable (emotional process, missing the mark, panicking immediately, etc) and she said, “that makes sense”We went over the process with her again and she was fine after thatShe explained her purse was stolen, which is why we received the Retrieval RequestMs*** did not mention anything about her apparent concern with her interviewOn 10/3, Ms*** called againShe read the Revdex.com reviews and was nervousWe explained there are MANY clients, so a few reviews are not many at allThey talked about how people are more likely to vocalize a complaint, but not when they are happy(Our services are discreet, so people do not share that they met their special someone through us too often.) Ms*** asked for a refund againWe reminded her that it is not an option, per her agreementIt’s important for her to give the program a chanceMs*** mentioned the cost for our program and we explained that we have specials at timesWe reminded her that we know it can be easy to be nervous since this is not a tangible product, but we are here for her and only want success for herShe admitted she was nervous and said she will relax. Ms*** received her first referral on 10/She stated the following in her feedback: “Scott was very nice and I enjoyed visiting with himFor a first referral it went well, sparks didn't fly but we had a nice time.”The gentleman rated her a “5” (the highest rating), had a great time and wanted to see her againMs*** completed her feedback on 10/and we have been searching for her next, most suitable referral sinceFinding compatible referrals can take much time and researchOur Regulations explain we cannot predict the time frame and/or frequency of referrals, as we have to ensure we only match our clients with those who show to be most mutually compatible with them, per their profile informationWe focus on finding our clients the right types of singles.We were actively searching for someone when we received this complaintMs*** has only just begun our program and her services are not yet completeIn addition to signing a non-refundable agreement, Ms*** also signed a client obligation form which states she agrees she must meet all of her purchased referrals in order to give us the full opportunity to meet her expectations of our programShe also agrees not to go to any outside agency before trying to resolve any issues with our staffMs*** did not come to us with any concerns after her one and only referral thus far, so we were unaware there were any further issues until we received this complaint.We only wish to move forward in a positive direction with Ms*** program and continue helping her find someone specialKindest Regards,Texas Singles

I am rejecting this response because: I joined on July 3, The 1st thing they do is pretend to run a background check when they are actually running a credit checkThe next step is to fill out a lengthy questionareThe format was scantron in which the answers are bubbled in***, the interviewer, told me they match my scantron with clients and the more matched up bubbles the more likely this is a good matchShe kept making me change answers regarding race, religion, age, and income bracket of men I wanted to be matched withThis was a red flag and I should have just walked out, but I was so sad and lonely at the timeShe kept telling me that this perfect coach who had just joined and that the clients were going to love meI had to fill out the same information onlineI wasn't sure why I was filling this out twice, but I didThe bottom line I filled in bubbles and created my own profile, so what is the $3,for? Secretaries and receptionist don't get $3,a patient to fill out data at a doctors office and these people are doing basically the same or actually less than a secretary!?! I didn't receive my welcome letter till July 12th and my 1st match wasn't sent to me till August 12thYes, *** is a nice man, but there was no chemistryI was way down the line in his matches and he was just done with this companyMy next match didn't come till November 5, He was weird and so off the markI was so upset and let them know thisThe next match came January 8th, He was ok, but was going through a custody battle over his yrold daughterHe even brought her on the dateI have no interest in raising anymore childrenI was fine with a match having kids, I just didn't want them in the home on a full time basisThe next match came April 18th, The only reason we were matched was because we were both teachersThis man looked as old as my dadIt was just so creepyThe next match came on July 30th, After the story about his bipolar son (who he had custody of) tried to kill his step-brother, I escaped with bathroom excuseThe next match came on August 18th, This was also a very nice person, but clearly still in love with his ex-wife and could barely walk due to an unfortunate accident and also had some of his kids living with himThe next match came September 18th, This guy was raised a Mormon and I'm a devout CatholicThis was a no way situationThe next match came November 12th, John is a very nice man with a good jobUnfortunately, he has a yrold son he has custody of and is a typical teenagerI don't want to raise anymore childrenJohn also doesn't believe in a higher being and again I'm a devout CatholicThe next match came May 4th, and I didn't even botherAfter matches that were clearly not matches, how could anyone expect me to go on with this nightmare!?! The gaps in matches, the lack of consistant communication, the incompetent employees, and the lies should be enough to show these people are awful scammers! They didn't do their jobIt doesn't cost $3,to input data for a profileI just want my money back

attempted to contact Ms*** to resolve her issues directlyAlthough Ms*** does not wish to be contacted by us, she is a client of ours and we feel that it is best to speak directly to herWe feel that sometimes that is the best way to resolve issues Ms*** joined our services on 8/Ms*** decided to purchase the program that best suited her needsPlease note that our clients pay different amounts for different types of programsNot only do we offer different amounts of referrals, we also offer certain benefits to some clients for an additional feeAll-in-all, everyone receives what they pay for After entering Ms***' information into our system, creating her online profile, uploading her photos, conducting her national background check, etc., we activated her account and began the search for her first matchWe explain to our clients that it can take up to a few weeks to receive the first referralWe were able to find someone for Ms*** on 8/It took some time for her and her match to get in contact with one another, but they ended up finally meeting on 9/Ms*** stated that he was shorter than her preference (5'and her minimum preference was 5'- he was only inch shorter, although she felt that he really seemed even shorter than 5’7.) and she was not attracted to himShe said he was a "nice person, but not what she was looking for"We took her feedback into consideration and we explain to our clients that feedback helps us refine our searchAlso, we explain to our clients that we use preferences as a guideline for matching, but not all criteria will match 100%This is clearly explained in our Rules and Regulations pamphlet which Ms*** received a copy of upon joining our servicesIn these Regulations, it also states that the client understands that not all matches provided will agree to meet with them and that they will not like everyone they meetWe try to give our clients realistic expectations regarding our program We continued the search for Ms*** after her first match did not work outOur Rules and Regulations also explain that we cannot predict the time frame and/or frequency of matches, but that we will search on their behalf on a monthly basisWe will continue working for our clients until all purchased matches are fulfilled Ms*** received her next referral on 10/Ms*** notified us on 11/that her and her match spoke on the phone times to schedule a date, but apparently, the gentleman continued to cancel on herWe can understand her frustration, as that is not fair to herHowever, we would hope that Ms*** would understand that we do not have control over our client's behaviorWe also have “management review” at the end of each client’s program to see if any matches need to be reviewed and replaced After receiving Ms***' feedback, we went back to the drawing board and searched for a new matchWe found a possibility on 12/8, but the gentleman was not available at the timeTherefore, we began a new search and now we have received this complaint As you can see, everything has been right on schedule for Ms*** and we can understand that she is anxious to meet someoneSometimes there can be disappointments, but we have been working very hard for her and we only want to help her find someone specialWe ask that she continues the program and returns our attempted contact, so that we can discuss the situation directly with herWe are only here to help Thank you for your time and Happy Holidays Warm Regards, Texas Singles

I am rejecting this response because: The information provided by Texas Singles is not entirely correct. I have not had referrals. Two of the offered referrals were not active, so I have only had referral in four months of active use of the service and was clearly told that the inactive referrals did not countThe first referral was no longer active and the third referral did not have time to participate at this point in his life. Clearly the company does not care about the client if they do not keep contact and do not know who is active and who is notI am active with the program. I have not had contact each month from Texas Singles and have had messages and emails not returned. I have to actively call the office, leave messages, and email. I emailed about my last referral and did not hear anything back until I called to point out that he was not active in the program. During my last contact, over a month ago when I called about the last referral, I was told that I would hear something very soon and that she has someone lined up and just needed to check with him. I was also promised more contact and a clearer line of communication since no one had returned my email. I have not heard anything from the company since the end of SeptemberAt this rate the program will take over years to see referralsI still believe the company is not fulfilling their end of the contract and has falsely advertised the service.

I am rejecting this response because:I am asking for a partial refund due to the fact that the company has not upheld their end of the contract. I due understand that there are no explicit times in the contract, only implied times under what would be generally acceptable. The Director was very condescending and stated repeatedly that my calling the company only adds to their delay in returning calls. In addition she stated this to me when I had only returned the call from the company. I have no fate in the company. Even in the response, quotes are used when talking about crediting me as the company has taken no responsibility for the way I have been treated and acts as if crediting me for service no preformed is a gracious gestureWhy should I give them more chances when I have already given them chances, told them I was dissatisfied, and got nothing from them in responseAt no time have they said that this is unusual in their practice.

Complaint: 10638601I am rejecting this response because: I signed up for the program on 6/and I regret till this day for signing upI should have followed my instinct on that faithful day but I ignored all the red flags in front of me probably because I was desperate since I just broke up with my fiance few months before thisI was suspicious when they wont let me leave without signing a contractThey charge different prices for the same package in order words they charge you based on your financial staus which is why they size you up before telling you the priceWhen I told them I couldnt afford the price for the package which was referrals I think, they asked me what can I pay and I keep telling them I dont think I can afford it and so they kept decreasing the price until I became comfortble and then persuaded me to use my credit card since they wanted full payment and I didnt have the money at the timeThey also increased the referral from to just to get me to sign which I finally did Unfortunately They promised high quality service and background check of all clientsThey also took photos of me which I thought were for my potential referrals to see who they are meeting before meeting themWhen I realized the photos are not on my profile, I asked them what the photos are for that is when they explained they dont show the photos to referrals because photos could be misleading and deceitful and that they prefer you meet face to faceThey told me how to set up my profile on their website which I did the same day I signed up but I never saw my profile for like a monthI tried to contact someone and the match specialist several times via phone and email but all to no avail So I contacted my credit card company on 7/to dispute the charge and I had a charge back.The moment they saw that that was when someone decided to call Giving me all kinds of flimsy excuses that they working on the website and they sent emails to all the clients about this which I didnt believe because I specifically left several messages for someone to call me ASAP and no one didHowever they apologized and I gave them the benefit of a doubtMy credit card released the money to them because they sent paper work saying the fee is non refundableShortly after that I had my first referral, met withhim but he did not meet my criteria because he was talking like they paid him to meet with me so I became suspiciousSecond referral we didnt meet because he didnt meet my criteria They told me on the phone he has a white colar job but then when I read the profile it says cemetery guard so I called the match maker and reinforced my criteria of a match and that I will not be meeting with this referral since he did not meet my criteria The third referral called and was very unprofessional and disrespectfulHe called me and was asking if I have a big as because he likes big assWhen I refused to answer he told me he does not want to meetI felt really disrespected and question if the company really do background as they claimedAnyways I called the match maker and file a complaint about this and also how I have been so dissatisfied with the service and wanted a refund but they told me I cant get a refund since is non refundable The problem is they not providing what they promised and using the non refundable contract as a backup not to refund me my money even though they not keeping thier side of the bargain by not providing high quality service as promisedFouth referral met my criteria but when we met he also sounded like he was also paid to meet with meAnd so this was my last straw with the companyCalled them again on 4/that I am not interested in the program anymore and that I wanted a refund but they told me is non refundableThis is why I decided to come to Revdex.com because I dont think am being treated fairly as a consumer by this so called companyI dont want to be part of the program anyway and I request a refund even if is not the full refund partial refund is something since I did not meet all referrals on the contractonly met out of referralsIf they insist they wont refund me well no problem but like I said they wont use that money for any thing good in their livesAlso I want other consumers to see this review so they dont fall victims like me. regardsNimi George

I am rejecting this response because: when I spoke with *** at Texas Singles in mid-June she assured me she understood my view of the verbal abuse and disrespect directed at me by the last escalation I had made to *** (which wasn't even responded to until days later) *** of Texas Singles committed to personally following up with me regarding my request for a refund based on the lack of services to date and stated she understood I had no desire to interact further with someone who mis-represented what Texas Singles is supposedly about While she may have been having a bad day and others may have had a different experience than myself, I was "personally humiliated" and actually have a witness who was with me on the last date that *** contacted me when she was extremely unprofessional I have no desire to give this Company a 3rd chance; zero services have been rendered to date; and damages will be pursued should a refund not be approved along with a claim pending at the federal level
