Date: 7/3/17       Re: [redacted] Case #: [redacted] To Whom It May Concern, We are in receipt of Ms. [redacted]’s additional rejection to our response. Ms. [redacted]’s newest letter appears to be the same as the prior one with some added information. Yes, our Director of Client Relations called and sent an e-mail to Ms. [redacted] to discuss her request for a refund. It is important that she communicates with us in order for us to resolve this matter. We would also like to mention that we treat our clients with the utmost respect. Sometimes there can be misunderstandings in situations, as the matchmaking industry can be a rather emotional one. We have never received negative feedback from our clients regarding the treatment of our Director of Client Relations. Rather, we regularly receive e-mails and phone calls from clients singing [redacted]’s praises and how they feel they are treated very well by her. As we stated, we would like to discuss a resolution to Ms. [redacted]’s concerns and we ask that she contact us back. Thank you again for your time.     Kindest Regards, Texas Singles

Date: 2/20/15Re: [redacted]To Whom It May Concern,Please know that we spoke with Ms. [redacted] on 2/12 and resolved her issues. She agreed that she would move forward with her program. Ms. [redacted] should be contacting your organization to notify you of the same.Thank you,Texas Singles

Date: 3/1/17Re: [redacted] To Whom It May Concern,We spoke with Ms. [redacted] yesterday, 2/28. In good faith, we offered her (what we believe to be) an amicable and fair resolution. We hope she will accept our offer. Thank you,Texas Singles

Date: 3/30/15 Re: [redacted]   To Whom It May Concern,   We have been working very hard on Ms. [redacted]’s behalf since she joined our services. We have actually had two cases of charge-backs for Ms. [redacted] – one which was just closed in our favor a few days ago. Ms. [redacted] filed her first charge-back very shortly after she joined our program, claiming that she did not receive our services. We reached out to Ms. [redacted], she agreed to continue her program and the case was closed. We have been working hard for her since then and we received yet another charge-back and a complaint with the Revdex.com. We feel that we have provided everything promised and we only want to continue working with Ms. [redacted].   Ms. [redacted] joined our services on 9/25/14. She had an extensive interview in our office with a Relationship Specialist. They discussed Ms. [redacted]’s past relationships, what she is looking for in a partner, etc. We presented her with various package options for our different programs. Ms. [redacted] opted to purchase 5 referrals/matches. We simply encouraged her to become a client, so that she could have the opportunity to find someone special. For her fee, Ms. [redacted] not only receives matches, but she also receives services such as the creation of her profile, national background check, communication (e-mails, phone calls), maintenance of her account, recruiting men on her behalf, conducting searches for matches on her behalf by our matchmakers, etc. This is all part of our services. There are various staff members who work on Ms. [redacted]’ behalf on a daily basis. There is much work and time that goes into each individual client's program. After Ms. [redacted] left our office, we immediately began working for her and providing our services. We entered her information into our system, created her profile, uploaded her photos, conducted her background check, etc. Ms. [redacted] was responsible for completing her profile in order to get her account activated. We sent Ms. [redacted] a Login Instruction page on 10/1 to complete her profile. All of the work we must do for our clients in the beginning of their programs takes much time. We then received a call to our office from Ms. [redacted] on 10/16. She stated that she was upset for not hearing from anyone yet and explained that she already contacted American Express to dispute the charge. We told her that we were working on finding her first match (which we explain to our clients can take up to 8 weeks) and we would have someone from client services can get back in touch with her. Only a few days later we received Ms. [redacted]’s charge-back. We reached out to her and she agreed to continue. She stated that she was going to contact American Express to end the dispute.   After the original charge-back case was closed, we resumed Ms. [redacted]’s program. Yes, the last time we spoke with her was on 2/23, but we explain to our clients that we will search on their behalf for matches on a monthly basis. Ms. [redacted] has been receiving her matches and the services that are involved in providing those matches.   Ms. [redacted] has received 3 matches thus far: 1.       [redacted] – Ms. [redacted] spoke with him on the phone, but they did not end up meeting for a date 2.       [redacted] – Ms. [redacted] did not have chemistry with James, but she stated the following in her feedback; “James is very nice, was polite and thoughtful. Even brought me a rose. He is fairly easy to talk with, but I do not think we have many things in common.” 3.       [redacted] – Ms. [redacted], once again, did not have chemistry with Larry either. She stated the following in her feedback: “I think he is a nice man, very talkative. Not attracted to him physically.” [redacted]We explain to our clients that we are matching them with those whom are compatible with them, according to their profiles. We then have our clients meet to see if there is any chemistry. If so, great! If not, we continue the search. This is why we sell packages of multiple referrals/matches. Just like in the dating world, it can take time to find someone you connect with. We hope for the best with each and every match, but we cannot guarantee that our clients will like everyone they meet. It’s just not possible. Please note that we provided Ms. [redacted] with a copy of our Rules and Regulations upon joining our services, which she agreed to having reviewed, per her contract, under paragraph #1. In these Regulations, under paragraph #3 it states: "Compatibility is very subjective and that we will send you referrals we deem, in our sole and absolute discretion as "likely most mutually compatible" as indicated in your singles data. The final determination to meet a referral is yours and yours alone. You understand and agree that we will supply you referrals on an as available basis. Because we try to send compatible referrals, you understand and agree that there is no way for us to predict the frequency and time frame of each referral. However, we will search on your behalf on a monthly basis, but we will only match you with others that we feel you are compatible with. You further understand that no two people are generally perfectly compatible and agree that we will use our best judgment in providing referrals that most nearly match your requirements." [redacted]Per the paragraph above, we do our best to come as close as possible to what our clients are looking for, but not all criteria will match 100%. We use preferences as a guideline for matching. Every match that was provided to Ms. [redacted] has been compatible with her, according to their profiles. We want to give our clients every possible opportunity to meet someone special. We search for matches for our clients on a monthly basis, but we cannot predict the time frame and frequency of matches, although we will absolutely provide the amount of referrals promised. Also, under paragraph #4 in our Regulations it states: "You understand and agree that simply because you choose to meet with a single that we have referred to you does not mean that such single will agree to meet with you. It is impossible for us to guarantee that any single to whom you have been referred will agree to meet with you. You understand that you will not like everyone you meet and that some of those you meet may not like you." [redacted]As you can see, we try to give our clients realistic expectations in regards to our program. We explain to all clients that we cannot predict the time frame of matches, we are matching them with those who are most mutually compatible with them and they will NOT like everyone they meet. We also cannot guarantee that every match will work out. We only hope for the best for each client. We strive for the success and happiness of our clients. [redacted]Please note that a portion of the time Ms. [redacted] has been a client was put on freeze, due to her charge-back. Another point in time, she was unavailable for matching due to the holidays. She also declined meeting a potential match after the holidays, but apparently thought about it and agreed to meet the gentleman a few weeks later. Everything has been right on schedule considering what has transpired with Ms. [redacted]’s program. Also, Ms. [redacted] signed a client obligation form, which states the following: 1. Always maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude. 2. Treat all clients and staff with respect and kindness. 3. You MUST meet everyone face-to-face. No exceptions. 4. Provide feedback with every referral given. 5. Texas Singles will match you with people they feel you are compatible with while keeping your preferences in mind. 6. Dating is a numbers game which requires that you meet many people, and that you naturally will not love every person you meet. 7. All concerns with your program MUST be discussed with Texas Singles staff and not other clients. [redacted]Ms. [redacted] agreed that she understands the ONLY way she can be successful with her program is to fulfill ALL obligations and expectations listed above. Per this signed form, Ms. [redacted] also agreed to meet all of her purchased matches so that she may give Texas Singles the full opportunity to meet her expectations of the program. She also agrees not to go to any outside agency before trying to resolve any issues directly with our staff. This includes contacting her credit card company. She agrees to talk with Client Services. If we still cannot correct the problem, she agrees to let Client Services set up a phone meeting with a senior member of the Client Resolution Team to explain her complaint and let the Client Resolution Team try to resolve the complaint to her satisfaction. We have spoken with Ms. [redacted] on various occasions. She appears to be very anxious for her matches. We have reminded her that it is important to be patient and stay positive. As we stated, everything is on schedule for her and we are working hard for her. As you can see above, we have provided Ms. [redacted] with our services promised thus far, we have provided everything as promised, everything is on schedule for her and we would like to continue working with her. Ms. [redacted] just needs to give the program more time to work for her and keep optimistic. We want nothing more than to help her find someone special. Please let us know if you need any additional information. Regards, Texas Singles

I am rejecting this response because:  I...

have brought this issue up to the TX Singles management Representative numerous times and each time this individual had indicated that they fully support my request of a full refund based on this extreme breech of the contract by their reps in the local office.  The mgmt rep indicated that she fully understood and supported my request.  I have documents indicating everything I have claimed in these messages regarding a breech on their part as well as from the mgmt rep,  I expect a full and prompt refund as there is no way possible that TX Dingles can deliver or provide the services I signed up for.  My trust in this organization has been completely destroyed and I have no confidence in this organization or any of its representatives! My privacy, security and safety were put at risk!

I am rejecting this response because: they have not fulfilled on their agreement.  I have been matched with 2 men, 2 matches have been non-responsive, and 1 was not able to be found by staff since Nov. 10, 2016.  The final match that you are referring to occurred after indicating that I was not happy with the service a number of times and after requesting a refund. I hardly think that this is the kind of service that you would call good service or fulfilling on your contract.I was told by Bob that you had thousands of members from which to match me with and yet you can't find more than 2 in greater than 6 months.  This was clearly false advertising.  I am very dissatisfied with Texas Singles and WAS told by Vanessa in March that there were "not that many men" in the service at that time and that they were still trying to increase membership since Christmas.  This is not acceptable.  With that said, I am willing to accept a partial refund of $3200 which is my $4000 investment minus 2 matches worth $400 each.  I am not willing to accept anything less than this.Regards,[redacted]

To Whom It May Concern, We are in receipt of the complaint filed by Mr. [redacted]. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Yes, Mr. [redacted] requested to cancel after he joined. The Relationship Specialist who signed him up for our services, Tracy, spoke with Mr. [redacted] on 1/10. She...

originally called him to discuss the completion of his profile. He said he sent her an email to cancel 4 hours after he got home. He explained he went on to the Revdex.com site and found negative reviews. He mentioned he already contacted his credit card company and wanted us to refund his card. Tracy explained that if he filed a charge-back, they will send the information to our corporate office and we will then respond to them. She also told Mr. [redacted] she was sorry to hear of his change of heart. She said that she called two of the matchmakers to let them know how great of a gentleman he is and how he will be a great catch for the right lady. She also shared with him that one of the matchmakers informed her the day prior that one of the clients she enrolled was getting married. Mr. [redacted] said, "I'm sure it works for some people". Tracy told Mr. [redacted] that he didn't even give us a chance to work for him. He said he had clients to tend to and thanked her for her time. We received Mr. [redacted]s’ credit card dispute on 1/31. We responded with the requested documentation and awaited the outcome. Tracy then spoke with Mr. [redacted] again on 2/20. She said she had a message to call him, so she was doing so. He said he wants his money back and that he sent her an e-mail when he got home the day he joined after reading on-line reviews. She reminded him she never received an e-mail from him and documented that twice on his account. He wanted us to refund his money. She explained to Mr. [redacted] that her hands were tied while the charge-back is in process. She explained that we have to answer any charge-back that we receive and that doesn't mean it is closed. The credit card company has to make that decision, not her. He said that he will, “get his money back one way or another”. He mentioned if he has to get an attorney, that Tracy will “have to testify”. Tracy responded and stated, "that is fine, I have been completely honest with you and there was no deception involved." He mentioned again about the 3-day right of rescission, but Tracy explained again that there is no 3-day for businesses such as ours in the state of Texas. He then shared that he met someone on Match.com and has been seeing her. Tracy said just because he met someone on his own does not mean she did something wrong or deceptive. She told Mr. [redacted] we will need to see how his credit card company rules on the charge-back. She also said how much she really enjoyed their initial interview and how she was excited to tell the matchmakers all about him. They thanked each other for the call. We then received word that the credit card dispute was closed in our favor. We responded to his credit card company providing the non-refundable agreement which Mr. [redacted] signed. We have now received this complaint. We ask Mr. [redacted] to please review his signed agreement prior to contacting other avenues. His agreement states the fee is non-refundable and we only wish to provide him the services he signed up for. We abide by our agreement and we ask Mr. [redacted] to do the same. As Tracy has indicated, she believes he would be a great catch for the right lady. We believe it would be beneficial for him to give the program a fair chance. Thank you for your time. Kindest Regards, Texas Singles

I am rejecting this response because: I did not reject any date, based on a photo. Clearly, the gentleman that they set me up with was not even close to the standards that I made very clear during my interview! Talking with the date advisor, she was skeptical herself about the date, even referring to him saying: "he is not attractive, he looks like my uncle". Then she went on to say that he had a full head of hair, which is a very clear "must have" in my profile requests. This man had a few wisps of hair on his head, almost completely bald. I am appalled that they would even set me up with a man, that did not fit my requirements, which were is writing on my profile. Then I saw the 19 Revdex.com complaints, which unequivocally show that Texas Singles is a fraud and scam.  Not only do they take your money, but they don't even have any quality people to set their members up with. This is how they operate... just setting you up with whomever they have, if they have ANYONE? they work remotely.... its not even a legitimate business, they are SCAMMERS & FRAUDS.The Revdex.com complaints speak for themselves... this operation does not even have a full time office. They have a small office that only is open when they have a potential victim of their "so called services", where they lie to you, telling you that they have the perfect man for you. It is all lies so they can take your money. Truth is they LIE, and tell you that they have dates for you.... when they don't. Please review all the Revdex.com complaints, they are ALL THE SAME.I also talked with another member that paid $10,000 to them. His quote: "Texas Singles was the biggest waist of money and mistake that I have ever made."I am DEMANDING my money back!

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  I have tried to return Texas Singles calls every time they have called.  I have called in the mornings, afternoons and evenings and have gotten a recording each time.  I have left messages when I call and don't hear back from them on the days I am not working.  I did reach a live person one time and was disconnected immediately when I gave my name and asked for [redacted]  I then attempted to call back all that day and never got a live person again, only the answering service.  There is no place that I can find on any of the papers that Texas Singles gave me that states I have to log in to my account once a month.  When I receive a message on Texas Singles account I immediately receive the same message on my personal email account.  I went on my Texas Singles account this morning and there are no messages in my box other than the ones I started receiving on my personal email after I filed this complaint.  They have never reached out to me one time after my November match until I filed a complaint.       I work 3 days a week, 12 hour shifts.  As I have stated I have called Texas Singles many times on the days I am not working.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
They never did contact me. [redacted] left multiple messages. I would call back and...

get an answering machine message. I have left multiple messages. Also, on 2 occasions a person answered and took my message. [redacted], the director of client relations, never contacted me directly and did not provide me with a direct contact to her.  This typical of how they conduct business.

To Whom It May Concern, Please see our attached response to the complaint for Ms. Krieger. Thank you and have a wonderful day. Kindest Regards,Texas Singles

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I spoke with [redacted] on March 28th, 2017. I met her at [redacted]., Austin, Texas. We spoke in an office, Ms. [redacted] said was barrowed. The interview started at 6PM, after business hours. The talk lasted an hour and a half, and only then was cost mentioned. Ms. [redacted] scanned through the contract and SAID NOTHING about the service being non-refundable or NON-Cancellable.  All sales contracts can be cancelled within three days of sale, according to fare business practices.I decided I wanted to cancel after considering the enormous cost of the service and my income. I also looked up Texas Singles on line and saw 16 very detrimental reviews on yelp. I called the number on her business card the next day. The number is [redacted]. The person answering said that Ms. [redacted] didn’t have an office there and that she had never heard of her. I called Back later thinking perhaps it was a mistake. On the third call, the building manager rudely told me to stop calling. I looked up an alternate phone number on line for Texas Singles, called and asked for Ms. [redacted]. The person on the phone said she would give the message to Ms. [redacted]. No reply. The next day I called, same thing. Finally spoke to [redacted], Ms. [redacted] assistant. I told her what had happened, that I had left messages about cancelling and that I hadn’t heard from Ms. [redacted]. She said she would relay the message. Ms. [redacted] has NEVER called me.After several more days of calling, getting answering machines, and no return calls, I decided Texas Singles had no intension of getting back to me and was a total scam. I have had two calls from [redacted], at Texas Singles after my complaint to The Revdex.com. Ms. [redacted] will not give me her last name. The last time we spoke, she asked me about doing an alternative deal, but I am totally through with this company. I said cancel and give me a refund. She asked how much total I was talking about, I gave her the specifics, totaling $450. She said she had to take it to higher ups and that she would get back to me. She called again on Thurs., May 25th and was leaving a message as I walked in from work. I missed the call, but immediately dialed her number. Of course, she was not available. Texas Single either doesn’t answer their calls, or they never get back to you and they don’t want you to have their real names.I can’t be any plainer as to what I want. I called immediately when I decided I wanted to cancel. I have asked for a refund. I have not been offered any dates or matches, nor have I received return calls from the staff about my dissatisfaction. I will not pay for no services received, all I want is out and a refund. I wouldn’t  do business with this company even if it were free.I have also filed a complaint with The Federal Trade Commission and don’t intent to give up until I get my $450 back and a cancellation notice for the contract.Very Sincerely,[redacted]
Regards,
[redacted]

Date: 8/3/17       Re: [redacted]Case #: [redacted]To Whom It May Concern, Upon receiving Ms. [redacted] complaint, we simply asked that she please notify the Revdex.com to inform the company that we are working together, as she had indicated in our prior conversation. She then stated she wanted to wait for the outcome of the complaint. However, Ms. [redacted] must remember that she agreed to resolve any disputes she may have with her program directly with us prior to contacting any third-party agency. With all due respect, we would like Ms. [redacted] to please understand that by filing a complaint, this does not mean she will be eligible for a refund. The fee she agreed to in exchange for our services is non-refundable, per her agreement with us. We explain to our clients upon joining (and it is in the Regulations which we provide to our clients) that we are unable to predict the time frame and/or frequency of matches. However, we will search on their behalf on a monthly basis. We will not match our clients with just anyone in order to fulfill a quota. We have to ensure that we only match our clients with those who show to be most mutually compatible with them, according to their profile information and compatibility indicators. We focus on finding our clients the RIGHT types of singles for them. This can take precious time and research. We only wish to resume assisting Ms. [redacted] in her search for someone special. We ask that she has a change of heart and agrees to continue the process. We only want success for her. Thank you again for your time.       Kindest Regards,Texas Singles

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:As explained to [redacted] on June 14th (Texas Singles), they have breached their portion of the contract by the dishonest business practices and verbal abuse which have been exhibited on multiple occasions by three separate individuals within their company.  I advised Dee during our discussion that a) the fact that I was verbally yelled at by [redacted]; b) advised that the original customer rep had "dropped the ball and was fired" (not apparently true) and c) that there weren't any available matches in this expansive database that didn't smoke are all points that support the Company has breached aspects of their commitment to me as a client (in only 5 months).  My trust in TS following through on their Agreement after the disrespectful verbal abuse (and lies) and the ability of the company to provide introductions (as per agreement after giving them a second chance), has been lost.  Calling repeatedly with no returned phone calls both pre- and post- meeting the one and only “match” (whose profile was stale) over a 6+ week stretch, being treated disrespectfully on multiple occasions and finally after giving the company a 2nd chance, being advised by the customer service rep (when we finally were able to connect) that there were other customer matters that morning that she needed to deal with and pretty much being "dismissed" as a customer for lack of no matches (without any acknowledgement or apology for not calling me at her 10:30 appointed time) further support the fact that our 2-3 five minute conversations are not indicative of a company wanting to support their portion of the “agreement.”  In fact, the escalation lead, [redacted] (who called 13 days after my request to speak with her) not only embarrassed me in front of someone else but advised me "I'd never be happy with TS or anyone my program was assigned to.”   Based upon her representation of Texas Singles and their inability to provide a service with the same professionalism and respect that they request from their clients, leaves me with NO DESIRE to give Texas Singles a 3rd chance.  Since it was suggested I was welcome to pursue action with the Revdex.com, Attorney General, etc. but that I would never receive any of my “client fee” back, I had asked [redacted] to re-consider a full refund.  She agreed to follow-up but could not make any promises.  We also discussed the fact that I had no desire to ever speak with either of those two representatives of Texas Singles again based upon their verbal abuse and misrepresentation of their service.       As of June 29th, I received an email from [redacted] at Texas Singles, advising that she had left me a voice message to talk with me.  In checking messages, I have no voice messages from Texas Singles and at this point, I have no desire to speak with someone who mis-represented what Texas Singles is supposed to be about.  I’m continuing to request a refund and will pursue every remedy available to me should the company choose not to do the right thing, based upon the poor experience.Other than a background check and three 5-8 minute conversations with [redacted], no resources on the part of Texas Singles have been expended and the agreement has been breached.  I am hoping over time to forget about the hurtfully rude and attacking conversation from the escalation lead, [redacted] as I currently have a very sour taste in my mouth from this entire experience over the last 5 months.  Four different employees have either mis-represented what Texas Singles is supposed to be about and / or have engaged in deceptive business practices in their dealings with me.  For these reasons, I continue to request a full refund and have asked for this case to be reviewed again by management as I do not wish to give the company a third chance to execute on an agreement which by now could potentially have been almost 50% fulfilled, based upon what I was told when I signed up (maybe a year to get through 8 introductions).  Regards,[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  I spoke with [redacted] at Texas Single, she offered only excuses; one of them being that when she matches my profile against others (men) that it comes up with several matches but when their profile is match with mine it does not match.  She gave the example of an white, uneducated atheist that she thought fit my profile, but happen to be atheist, no college but  makes good money.  This is not a match in the least. I am a (black) woman with a master degree with a strong Christian faith. I am continuing request a refund because they simply do not have the people in their database. I told by [redacted] that they had many available members that fit my profile during my interview which is the same that was submitted online. The last contact they had with me despite my emails and phone calls was in March, 4 months ago and they still  have nothing to offer.
Regards,
[redacted]

We are very much looking forward to resuming our business relationship with Ms. [redacted]. Thank you for your time. Regards, Texas Singles

To Whom It May Concern,We are in receipt of the complaint filed by Ms. [redacted].We will be reaching out to Ms. Ash to discuss a resolution to this matter. We will report back when we have further information.Kindest Regards,Texas Singles
