I signed up with this company back on April and paid $dollars for referralsJeanette Weisberg assured me that if I was not happy with the referrals, she would continue to look for a match for meI sat down in their office for about hours filling out my wish list, the criteria for the "ideal" mate I was looking forSpecifically between 5'5" (5'6"max) and 150lbs, max Since they do not allow you to "see" what they look like (eventhough they do have photos) you are "forced" to meet these referrals in personAnd once you do they are counted as a referralNONE of the referrals I met--, met the criteria that I specified on the forms I filled out! Yet they are counted as a referral you have met, because they have you submit feedback on their website about the referral
In short, it's like this: I ordered wheat bread, and they give you rye bread, and "COUNT" it as a legitimate referral eventhough they DO NOT meet the criteriaIn layman's terms it's a bait n switch operation (deceptive business practices) that is used to scam (defraud) you of your hard earned money! $dollars!! That is alot of money! Jeanette told me (verbal agreement, legal in Texas) that she would continue to look for a match for me because that is what she does and gave me "her" personal guarantee because she wants her customers to be happyI have called and her customer service reps keep telling me that the account has been "closed out"I spoke with them today and said they would put it through "management review", Excuse me! What happened to what Jeanette had told me to assure me that she would find me a match?? Corporate doublespeak to say that they've done what they couldReally?? They will not talk to me anymore, simply because I used a few choice words telling them that their customer service (to me) has been really *** poor
I am sure I am not the only person to complain about a similar experienceI would like a full refundNumber reason: All of the referrals did not meet my criteria, much less my expectations

I am rejecting this response because: I held up to my end of this deal. I paid the exorbitant fee. Texas Singles has not lived up to one of the promises made to me at my interview. As their letter states, I did state my concerns and tried to resolve these concerns directly from them I did as the agreement stated, I attempted to resolve this directly with them. My fist call to them voicing my concerns was not made in October, but on the Monday after purchasing their services, this date was September 25th. I spoke to *** and *** both on this day and was refused a refund and ensured that I would be pleased with their service if I would give them a chance. I feel months is plenty of time to have at least one compatible match. As I wrote in my complaint, I was promised matches quickly, this has not happened. Texas Singles reply states they have MANY clients, this is one of the things promised me in my interview….so far I have not experienced this. The only thing I have experienced is the disappointment that so many others have voiced in their complaints and reviews online. My story does not seem to be the exception, it seems to be the rule. Everything that I had mentioned being concerned about in my calls to Texas Singles has come to pass. After my first match Texas Singles disappeared, I never heard from them until after posting this complaint. Texas Singles attempted to call me after my complaint was filed, I have returned their calls but we have not been able to connect. Texas Singles also stated they had a success rate in the upper percentile…I have still not seen any proof of this. I would also like to know the names of the businesses they would refer me to in Oklahoma that my subscription would transfer to. And also the reputation and success rate of these companies. Texas Singles has not offered to correct any of the disputes I have voiced in my original complaint. Yes, there were agreements that I signed….but does Texas Singles not have to stand up to the promises their representative made me? Many of these promises went against the court ruling that was made in the official document included in my first complaint. Obviously, this is a problem they seem to have, offering promises and assurances in person without having anything in writing holding them to the promises that are voiced at the in person interviews. As I stated, I have not spoken to them in person yet

We were simply stating that we understand if she is anxious about the process and meeting someone. Most of the people who join our program are. This is what has happened on multiple occasions, every time I expressed concerns with Texas Singles in the past.  They would call me, I'd return their calls, they'd essentially promise things would change, and they never did.  In some cases, after those very calls another couple of months would go by without hearing from them at all (which to me indicates lack of true desire to address my concerns). 
In light of this history, I am very skeptical about what getting a phone call from them signifies in terms of resolution.  I will call them this week.  At this point I really just want a refund.  I am not convinced that any promise they make can be backed up by their business.  If/when I talk to them I am satisfied, I will close the complaint at that time.

thousands of clients in our program. However, this does not mean all of our clients are compatible with one another. We need to take various details into consideration when matching, such as distance, preferences, and most of all, compatibility. We will ONLY match our clients with those who show to be most mutually compatible, per their profile information. This can take much time and research. Some people are able to meet someone right away and for others it can take time.   We have found 6 men on behalf of Ms. [redacted] thus far. As she mentioned, she did not meet with some, which was no fault of her own. She was matched with two men in November and December and the men did not follow through with a date. We are just as disappointed, as we were excited for Ms. [redacted] to meet these gentlemen. And unfortunately, we are unable to control our client’s behavior.   Ms. [redacted] did meet with two men in January and March. It appears she had a nice enough time, but overall, there was no connection. We found another man in April, but our matchmakers ended up rejecting the match, as they did not feel it would be most suitable for Ms. [redacted]. We also just found another potential match on 5/11 that our matchmakers were researching to ensure that they feel it may be a good fit. There is much work that goes on behind the scenes of our matchmaking department.   We do not have a shortage of men. When we spoke with Ms. [redacted] around the holidays, it seems that one of our matchmakers explained people tend to be less available during the holiday season, for obvious reasons. We were hoping for more clients to become available again after Christmastime and the New Year. One of our matchmakers spoke with Ms. [redacted] again last week. Ms. [redacted] said she was requesting a refund. When asked why, Ms. [redacted] stated that we admitted to not having that many men in the system. The matchmaker explained she does not inform clients that we do not have enough men, but rather she will let them know that we may not currently have compatible men who meet their preferences at the time (we are constantly recruiting and interviewing new clients on a daily basis). We explained we just sent her a match, but she declined and said she was not interested. Instead, she wanted to speak with a manager.   As you can see, everything has been right on schedule with Ms. [redacted]’ program. We understand that it is taking some time, but we explain to our clients that we will search on their behalf on a monthly basis. In addition, we also explain that we are unable to predict the time frame and frequency of matches, as it all depends on availability, compatibility, etc. (This information is included in the Regulations Ms. [redacted] received when she joined and she agreed to having reviewed under paragraph #2 in her signed agreement.)   We have not heard from Ms. [redacted]’ credit card company yet, but as soon as we do, we will be more than happy to provide any information they request. We only wish to resolve this matter and move forward in a positive direction with Ms. [redacted]. Our only goal is to assist her in finding someone special. To Whom It May Concern, We are in receipt of Ms. [redacted] additional rejection to our response.There is a Regulations pamphlet which was provided to Ms. [redacted] at the time she joined our services. The paragraph regarding the client signing into their account is under #12 in the Regulations. Ms. [redacted] agreed to having reviewed these Regulations under paragraph #2 of her agreement. If she is in need of another copy, she can download the document from her online account. She will find tabs at the top portion of the main page. She can click on the tab which states “Regulations”. Many times we are on the other line with clients, but we always return calls as soon as possible. After Ms. [redacted] most recent referral, she provided her date feedback and we resumed our search for her. We do not regularly contact our clients unless we have a question, a referral for them, etc. Even if they do not hear from us on a regular basis, we are working very hard behind the scenes on their behalf, searching for compatible referrals, recruiting new clients, etc.Our records indicate we have left messages for Ms. [redacted] on the following recent dates:12/14, 12/20, 12/28, 1/2, 1/5, 1/9, 1/12 and again yesterday, 1/15.We would very much like to connect with Ms. [redacted] to speak directly with her, as we feel we can make progress and resolve this matter if given the opportunity. However, we do not know if Ms. [redacted] is compatible with certain gentlemen until we compare and contrast profile information. Per our prior response, we have found 6 potential matches for Ms. [redacted] since she became a client. No, not all of the matches panned out. Two of the men did not follow through with scheduling a date. However, the work has been performed. Since this was no fault of Ms. [redacted], those matches will most likely be “comped” or “bonused back” for her, which means she will receive additional matches at no additional cost to her.   Ms. [redacted] signed an agreement which states that the fee she agreed to is non-refundable. In addition, Ms. [redacted] also signed a client obligation form which states she agrees to meet all of her purchased matches in order to give our company the full opportunity to meet her expectations of our program. We understand she is anxious to meet someone, but matchmaking takes time, which is why we stress the importance of patience and an optimistic attitude (this is also included in the client obligation form).   Again, we only wish to resolve this matter and move forward in a positive direction.
