We apologize for having an expired GWP offer on our website.  We have contacted the customer and will obtain a spiralizer for her.

The credit was applied to her original purchase price to bring down the cost of the coat to match the $124.00 price which is the lowest price offered on the coat on October 28. Credits may take up to 7-10 business days to show on the account depending on mode of payment used.

As for the charges, there is a pre-authorization placed on a the card used by us and your bank when a purchase is made. This is done to make sure that the funds are available when the order is shipped. The card isn't actually charged until the order ships. This is consistent with any purchase from any retailer or business. Any pre-authorization is cleared by the customer’s bank or card processor within 3 business days of order placement. If the pre-authorization has not been removed, please contact your bank or credit card company.

I am rejecting this response because:  It is factually incorrect.  In fact, the customer service department contacted me and informed me that they would NOT send me the gift with purchase promotion, at all, unless I ordered other, ADDITIONAL merchandise from them.  They informed me that they could not cancel the order, nor could they send the promotion, because it was a manufacturer's promotion.  So the statement from the company representative is a lie.  They did not offer me any opportunity to receive the promotion promised on their website.  I am attaching a screenshot of an email exchange with Bon Ton customer service proving this.[redacted] <[redacted].com>Jun 9 (2 days ago)to WebAre you going to send the advertised gift with purchase, then? We apologize for the issues this customer had with the blanket. We have contacted the customer via email and provided a phone number and website for [redacted] Blankets who manufacturers the blanket for BonTon.

We have tried multiple times to reach this customer without success.

The product was received from the customer and her charge was credited on 5/21/2015. We credited the return shipping today, 5/27/2015, since the return process was not followed correctly. We do not reimburse for return shipping until the credit is completed to ensure the proper items were returned.

We have spoken with the customer and will be sending her the gift.  We are also addressing the issue of the website not populating with option for GWP.

A full credit for the coat was issued on 2/27/14, we have created a new order # [redacted] which is for the coat that was originally ordered at no charge to the customer.

I ordered a product from this store online, the tracking info said," shipment information sent to FedEx" for 10 days it said the same thing. So I called them and their customer service rep told me I would have to call my credit card company for a refund and I can pay again if I wanted the product re-shipped, but he was nice enough to price match and give me the sale price I originally paid. I have never heard of this practice, a company usually ships the item again or gives you a refund. He said that is how everybody deals with these issues. I will no longer shop with Bon-Ton Inc again.I notified my credit card company, the rep couldn't believe it, they refunded my account and they will deal with them. I have my order # and tracking # and they have the recorded conversation for training purposes. Bon-Ton Inc, Goodbye for good.

I am rejecting this response because:The Bon Ton is NOT a small company it is a VERY large business with stores all over the US, SO if they want to be in business selling items for Weddings, then they have to have checks and balances in place, as this did not in this case.  The company spokes-person is not only rude, but not very understanding regarding this issue. HAD my order been filled correctly, I would have had the ITEM I ordered from them, however, since it was not double checked nor filled correctly, the burden of reimbursement should fall on them and not me the consumer who paid for and ordered the item correctly.  I again ask that the Revdex.com file this complaint in favor of me (the consumer) and leave a "mark" for the Bon - Ton. They made the mistake, and are refusing to correct it, in fact not even an apology.

I have spoken with this customer and the issue was resolved by the Store Manager.

I was just shopping in Herbergers in Rice Lake Wi. As I passed the tabel with Fossil purses I notice a sign for Goodwill sale. 25 % off selected Fossil purses and a 20% off sign above it saying use you Goodwill coupon. I chose a purse and when I went to pay for it was informed that was just an additional the sale and the purses are not on sale. I have a picture of the sign to send to the Revdex.com, and would love to send it to you.

We just received your complaint yesterday,March 31.  You should have seen the credit post to your account already.  Please be advised when using a debit card for purchases, it can take up to 7 business days for the credit to post to your account depending on your bank.
