I took out a loan with the college network and that covered test fees once I took the test and I submitted for reimbursement after I passed I was supposed to get a run refund check for those test feesI have outstanding test fees and when I call the college network tell me to use an email address or phone number for financial issues the email address does not work nor does the phone numberI took a foundations test in December of for $Health differences in June of for $Health differences in August for $and health differences May of for $For a total of $1,

TCN had a 5-Day Cancellation Policy*** *** did not contact TCN within five business days to cancel her contract
*** *** signed her contract with TCN on April 25, for the purchase of Comprehensive Learning Modules related to the Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing degree program offered by Indiana State University.
TCN would like to take this opportunity to remind *** *** that her TCN program has a “Lifetime Guarantee”, including a testing guarantee**In addition, TCN has developed the Academic Guidance Planner and TCN Resource Center. Those features were designed to assist TCN customers in reaching their educational goals. The Academic Guidance Planner offers resources to help TCN customers determine what type of learner they are and the best way for them to study, organize their studies, and have a point of reference for their degree program progressionThe TCN Resource Center is a learning environment that allows TCN customers to access their Comprehensive Learning Module program in an online, interactive format. If I have not passed the CLEP, DANTES or Excelsior College* Exam for a particular TCN Comprehensive Learning Module after two attempts, TCN will pay the future cost of re-taking the exam in question, up to the maximum attempts allowed (if any) by CLEP, DANTES, or Excelsior College*Additionally, TCN will provide me with specific study plans with one of its Academic Advisors and/or the use of an approved tutor in my local areaApproval and assignment of a special tutor is solely at the discretion of The College Network, Inc.”

While I appreciate the attempt by The College Network, and will accept them sending money they owe me, this only addresses part of the problem. As of today 2/11/I have yet to see anything regarding that check being sent. This does not solve the repeated issue of constant delays in the sending of checks considering the actual processing time, based of e-mails and other communications with them, is much less than the actual time it takes to send out the checks. This response did not address the issues of The College Network failures of complying with the written promise and guarantee of contact and assistance with the English Comp test failure. The College Network’s inability to keep material up to date, which is the one of the underlying cause of their materials not matching up with testing information, as new terminology and other changes have happened since the modules were written, some as far back as and Again I am looking for a partial refund of a total of $(minus any testing fees that are in process of being mailed in a timely fashion). As I am requesting a partial refund, trhe cancelation period would not apply as my contract states for a full refund there is a cancelation period. A lifetime learning credit or educational credit will not be accepted. This is because there is no definition or statement in my contract about these. Also it does not address the testing fee issues. Lastly The College Network has shown that they do in fact return monies collected for services and products in all the loans the pay off or by back, in some cases for more money than the refund amount I am looking for. A unwillingness to refund money to non-loan clients creates two classes of clients / debtors and may be considered discrimination *** ***

When signing up for The College Network, I was under the impression that I would be taking classes and testing out of the classes that they told me would be through colleges they were in a partnership with, for me it was Excelsior College It wasn't clearly presented to me that I was signing up for a test preparatory program until after the second time I contacted them to tell them that I did not want to do the program I was told that they have a board of people that know what is on the test and this is designed to enable me to pass a test I wanted to take classes and be able to speak to an instructor and ask questions and have discussion with other classmates and take tests that test my knowledge not take a quiz and then it give me the answers After finding out that Excelsior College is not in partnership with The College Network I again tried to get out of the contract and they told me again that the only way to get out was to transfer my credits was to give them to a family m

I've been a College Network customer since and I signed a contract and took a loan through South East financial to have College network provide studying materials and pay for my exams fees for me to test out of college classesSince May of 2015, I have been waiting for my Anatomy and Physiology exam check so I can take the exam, I was informed that too many students had requested exams fees at the same time and the financial department was running behindI was offered the alternative to take my classes somewhere else and send my credits in so College Network could refund my money but halfway through my classes I was told they cannot refund my money they can only give me College Network creditI have complained and even requested to talk to the president of the company (this was denied) but all their customer service do is apologize for the delays in the financial dept with no further actions, they basically want us to continue studying for other classes while they take their sw

When I first signed up with The College Network in February 2014, I was told by my academic advisor that the best option for me was to finance all of my exam fees in with the loan I was taking out through them so when it came time after all the lessons and quizzes were complete, I wouldn't have to try to come up with the money I was told by my advisor that all I had to do after completing the lessons and quizzes at the end of each class was to contact The College Network and submit a request for a check to be sent to me so I could pay for and schedule my exam to receive college credit hours I was told to allow 2-weeks to receive my check in the mail Well, the first time I submitted a request it took MONTHS to receive the check Now, it has been over a YEAR since I submitted the request for the check for my Lifespan Developmental Psychology exam fee, and over MONTHS since I submitted the request for my Analysis and Interpretation of Literature exam fee Every time I call t
