Although The College Network claims to offer a variety of "programs" and widely disseminates advertisements offering consumers the opportunity to "Earn Your Degree or Certificate Online" The College Network is not an educational institution and has no degree granting authority
The College Network merely sells study guides, which it refers to as "Comprehensive Learning Modules", that are purportedly designed to help consumers pass certain examination to enable them to earn degrees offered by various degree-granting institutions
The College Network has no affiliation with Excelsior College, it extensively promotes and sells a "program" that it refers to as an Associate's Degree in Nursing through Excelsior College
The College Networks sales tactics repeatedly exploit the Excelsior College name and create the impression that The College Network is an educational institution and is one and the same as, or affiliated with, Excelsior College

In I signed up an online class through The College NetworkIt was a personal loan that I started paying monthly around $a monthTheir study guides and online modules was not very helpfulI continued to do the online class approximately monthsEvery time I call to inquire about the clinical portion of the program the College Network representative always says that their contract with *** *** and *** *** *** is still pendingI finally decided to call The College Network and told them that I would stop with the online program because of their poor service and their online formatting is not helpful to learning and passing the classesI requested them numerous times to send me credit for the subjects I passed but never receive anything from them even though I paid for it
When I called them back in the College Network informed me that they are not accepting students from California and I owe them the full loan of almost $10,I was paying them $

The College Network, Inc(“TCN”) has received and reviewed your email dated March 11, 2014, pertaining to *** complaint

TCN is an educational services and eLearning company which provides study material and support to help its customers pass college equivalency examinations. TCN has assisted many customers in obtaining their degrees at the Associate, Bachelor’s or Master’s level
*** signed her purchase agreement for her Bachelor of Science degree program according to its terms on February 14, 2011. At the time she signed her purchase agreement, the program that *** *** purchased was approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (the “CBRN”). In December, 2012, the CBRN changed its position and determined that its prior approval was erroneous. TCN is working on solutions to this issue.
TCN believes it has fulfilled its obligations under the contract and that *** *** is obligated to fulfill its obligations under the contract, specifically to pay TCN for the educational materials and services provided. It should be noted that Ms. *** contract with TCN under the heading Customer Acknowledgment clearly states that TCN customers understand that “TCN is not responsible for changes to state board of nursing or other regulatory requirements, nor is it responsible for changes to state board of nursing or other regulatory requirements, nor is it responsible for the approval of various programs by any boards or agencies.”
However, as a good corporate citizen, and without any admission and without any waiver, at this time TCN is willing to grant *** *** request for cancellation under the following conditions:
1. *** *** execute TCN’s Release and Settlement Agreement; and
2. Upon that execution:
(a) TCN will recall and close *** *** account with American Credit Exchange, Incin the approximate amount of $8,
(b) Monies paid to date by *** *** under her contract with TCN will be treated as an “Educational Credit” which can be used by her at any time in the future to complete her advanced non-Certificate TCN educational program using TCN materials.

I found out they are not accredited or affiliated with any colleges or universitiesThey have been ignoring me for over a year as I've been requesting my exam fee to be sent to me via check since I already paid for them upfrontAt this point I want my money back for the $13,loan that I have with Southeast Financial Credit UnionThey are a scam and cannot help me to attain my educational goals

I was told by Tim *** the representative from The College Network that if I was not happy with The College Network program at any time, at ANY TIME, that I may cancel out of the program Also reviewing the contract the signature that appears on these forms are not even my signature!

I contacted this company in January requesting a refund of my test feesI pre paid and did not use them as I went through Excelsior College instead Out if the originally paid I was told I would receive approximately backI was told I would receive it within weeksThey stopped responding to me in June and I still never received a refund which in turn made me unable to pay for my CPNE and finish my nursing course through excelsior

Last April was a check process issued for reimbursement for class "Life Span 3" Currently I havent received this check! I have called several times and either disconnected or transfer to another agency for their customer service and all they can tell me is that the check is being processed!
