PLEASE FIND BELOW A Response I Wrote to The College Network in conjunction with We Florida Financial, who are operating under questionable practices

TCN, I have not reached you online or on the phone this is a prevaricationOther people in my area have the same problem with youI to this day am still unable to get online with you, nor retrieve any class informationThere has never been anyone available for online tutoring during the hours you claim there should be, or any other timeWhenever I tried to get online help during the hours you say you are available I get a notice saying no one was available at that time
TCN is a book mill, I found out after signing up with TCN that there is NO ACADEMIC SUPPORT as your business and representative falsely and knowingly put forward to meYour cohorts have been informed of this as wellTCN Representative told me this was a student loan, that too was an untruth, so it is obvious We Florida Financial are involved in this scam as well.Here are a few complaints I found through the Revdex.com that I will be forwarding to other persons of interestI will be contacting the Attorney General of my State, and I will let them know the kind of shady operation you are runningI am a grandparent raising a grandchild who wanted to try and achieve My RN so that I could better provide for my grandchildMy wife is retired after years with the public schoolsYou people are simply Highwaymen out to scalp the hard-working public who are trying to better themselvesShame on you TCN and WE Florida Financial!!!!

The College Network promised to deliver, electronically, college classes so that I could obtain by BSNHowever every time I attempted to gain on-line access I was unable to do soI contacted them at least a dozen time via phoneand via emailI received no return calls or emailsSo, I went with another college to obtain my degreeI NEVER took any part of a class with them, now they have contacted me wanting 4,to pay for classesThey have threatened to garnish my wages if I do not pay them

I financed my nursing material and testing through the college networkAs per contract and verbal communication with the college network, they are to send me reimbursement checks within two weeks of requesting the checksI requested the first reimbursement check ($345.00) on December 8th (Micro Test)I requested the second reimbursement check ($460.00) on January 11th (Anatomy and Physiology Test)I requested the third reimbursement check ($345.00) on February 15th (Health and Safety Test)When you contact the Academic Advisor, they state the status is "in process" but are unable to give me any more information

This is an ongoing issue with this company which states that they are a supplemental education for the school of nursingAt the time I signed up with this company I was informed that when I was ready to take an examination that all I had to do was call them and they will disperse my funds for which they have all ready been paid in full by meI have requested a check to be dispersed back in Sept and it is now March and to no availI was informed by a representative that I would have a check in the amount of $to cover the cost of the exam and an additional $because the last dispersal was short in that amountI can no longer reach any one and I have been given a number that doesn't have a voice mail set up and advises you to email them and the email appears to be automated as wellIt has been six months now and I have not been successful collecting any of the monies due to meI would like to have $dispersed ASAP

*** *** signed her contract with TCN on February 16, for the purchase of Comprehensive Learning Modules related to the Associate of Science Degree in nursing offered by Excelsior College*.
TCN would like to take this opportunity to remind *** *** that her TCN program has a “Lifetime Guarantee”, including a testing guarantee**In addition, TCN has developed the Academic Guidance Planner and TCN Resource Center. Those features were designed to assist TCN customers in reaching their educational goals. The Academic Guidance Planner offers resources to help TCN customers determine what type of learner they are and the best way for them to study, organize their studies, and have a point of reference for their degree program progressionThe TCN Resource Center is a learning environment that allows TCN customers to access their Comprehensive Learning Module program in an online, interactive format. “The College Network, Incagrees to provide to all customers in good standing the following support for the Comprehensive Learning Modules purchased as long as I have taken at least one of the tests related to the Comprehensive Learning Modules purchased every twelve months from the purchase date forward: Free updated versions of the Comprehensive Learning Modules (shipping and handling may apply) for the duration of my testing program with The College Network, Incand assistance in obtaining information and identifying test site locations
If I have not passed the CLEP, DANTES or Excelsior College* Exam for a particular TCN Comprehensive Learning Module after two attempts, TCN will pay the future cost of re-taking the exam in question, up to the maximum attempts allowed (if any) by CLEP, DANTES, or Excelsior College*Additionally, TCN will provide me with specific study plans with one of its Academic Advisors and/or the use of an approved tutor in my local areaApproval and assignment of a special tutor is solely at the discretion of The College Network, Inc.”

I have not been using the online service much as it was not successful at assisting me with testing outI have instead been actually taking the courses online through Excelsior CollegeI was not going to frustrate things and was just seeking to recoupe the testing fees that The College Network is suppose to provide for testingI requested such testing fees on October 3rdAt this time still have not received the feeI contacted The College Network again on November and was told to call a phone number which had a message system telling me to email [email protected] which I didStill no response and still no payment for the testing feesThe end of this week will be two months attempting to get the testing fees to test out on tests that I am not taking because I am taking the actual course instead because The College Network service is not effective for me and I am not even using it and have not for well over two years

I thought the were an actual collegeThey are a prep program and a crappy one at thatThey won't give me my money back and are horrible at helpI would never recommend anyone use them

I signed up for TCN to get my BSNIt seemed like a legitimate business in After taking none of the tests and struggling with the course material they refused to give my money backI continue to to make monthly payments for something I never usedI used course material for one classNo tests or modulesYet they won't return my moneyI will start a legitimate pre-med program in the fall- but will still be out thousands of dollars I think all those who have been scammed should receive refundsEspecially since investigations and lawsuits have and continue to occur

I joined the College Network last yearWhen I joined, a representative came to my home and led me to believe they were part of Excelsior CollegeI did not know they were not part of Excelsior until I had signed the contract At this time I was told that the college network had help and tutors available online when neededThey are not available when needed and they are not ExcelsiorI have tried to email with network issue but was not helpedI have not been able to log into their site for over months

The content provided by The College Network for the courses is not applicable to the content on the testsIn all cases I have had to purchase additional information (from outside sources) as I was failing the exams (3+ times) with their contentI literally thought I was in the wrong test for the courses as the content was so far off what was providedIn addition they provide an email address for customer service related issues that no one ever answersIf you get ahold of someone on the phone they are quick to tell you they do not work for the customer service department or The College Network at all and wish they could helpI have written them 10+ emails within the last couple months and have not received one responseAdditionally, I have not been reimbursed for my last two examsThe first one was submitted months agoI called someone in the Academic Support Department to discuss the many issues I am having and advised him that I want to cancel my contract, as they are in breac

I believe I was scammed by The College Network I am currently an LPN trying to get my RN the College Network came to my Nursing school years ago to advertise their business I moved to MO in with no job and had difficulty finding one I thought I could do The College Network and get some of my classes I needed taken care of The lady came to my house where it was all roses and fairytales I have found it very difficult to take the exams I have also found out that different states have filed legal action The state in which my license is held doesn't even acknowledge any of the exams taken through The College Network Indiana's own AG has filed legal action, and I have been in contact with *** *** ***'s Nursing Program; where The College Network on their paperwork and through the website; is affiliated with ***; I have received an email from them stating that they are no longer accepting credits from exams through The College Network So now I am paying

Funny Brad the *** is an automated number No one answers it in accounting or anywhere else the only way( to get a hold) of College Network is through an email that no one responds to Been waiting for a check since 04/07/to complete transition role course Been paying 199.20/mth for years...never missed a payment

I filed a complaint with Revdex.com and received an answer or possible resoluton on Jan6, that basicly said that I will receive the exam fee checks with in 7-daysI called the College Network and asked about the exam check and she said as has any one else I have spoke with (John, albert, Heather, kimberly, John is multiple times) as well as the response to the Revdex.com that my checks are in process and there is currently a back log and checks are delayed up to weeksThis is also what it says on the Revdex.com website verbatimI told her that I have heard the same answer every time I have called, I told her if I didnt know differently I would think that the staff as been instructed to read a statement prepared for themI also told her that the previous time I said that if they didnt get my money processed since the "up to weeks" has been more than surpassed and I have been forced to consult an attorneyShe said ok I will note that in your fileIt has been just days short of monthsI do believe that I have been more than patient and that currently since I have financed and paid in full then my money should be in some type of escrow acct or something and I suppose that this could be construde as theftThis is my 2nd request through the Revdex.com not to mention the multiple times I have spoke with themI should think that there will be some type of correspondence to the College Network, from the attorney next weekI thank the Revdex.com for being a type of mediator in this matter
Just as the company has said to me the only resolution to this problem is to refund the money I financed for nursing exam fees algebra exam fee ethics exam fee As well the nursing nclex and its dvdIt is only right that I receive the material I have paid in full si as not to delay my education any further due to my own stupidity as to trust the institution that is supposed to be and advertises asst in achieving my higher education and I could have saved the money as I had for the previous or classes I have already completedSo if this procedes to be a court settlement contrary to their paperwork I will be also requesting attorney feesBut only the above mentioned is being requested at this timeShould there be court then my attorney will notify of the requestCurrently, I request to have my funds in my hands in 7-days with this to include mailing timeI have contacted an attorney to officially relay this same information as I have stated I would, and hopefully the college network receives that correspondence with in the next 7-daysI dont believe that this an unreasonable request based on the current behavior

I was convinced that I would be able to get a degree through this site, through high pressure sales tactics I signed up and that has been a $10,mistakeI learned within just a few months that I had made an error but by that time there was nothing I could do, so I ended up paying all of that money for absolutely nothing

I have not received ANY reimbursement checks for my testing feesI requested my check for my first test almost a year ago now and recently requested a second check for a second testWhen I call the phone number listed for The College Network I am connected with the "education" department who claim they have nothing to do with the payments and I need to contact the finance departmentWhen asked for contact info for the finance department I am given an email address [email protected] have sent several emails without any type of responseI call back and advise I have not received any responses and still have not received payment and am told to continue sending emails and I will get a replyStill to this date I have not received a reply and have not recieved any type of reimbursement or given any assistance in attempting to locate my payment
