I signed up for TCN to get my BSNIt seemed like a legitimate business in After taking none of the tests and struggling with the course material they refused to give my money backI continue to to make monthly payments for something I never usedI used course material for one classNo tests or modulesYet they won't return my moneyI will start a legitimate pre-med program in the fall- but will still be out thousands of dollars I think all those who have been scammed should receive refundsEspecially since investigations and lawsuits have and continue to occur

On April 22,I was approached by a representative of The College Network who presented to me the option of online courses for transition from the LPN to RN programI signed up for said program and was promised educational materials for this program, which I never receivedHowever payments where being deducted from my bank account for above mentioned program, after numerous unsuccessful attempts to resolved this matter with The College Network I stopped making paymentsNow I being sued by by the financial institution that the college secured the loan through, even though the same person represented both The College Network and said financial institution to me
I think it is unfair that I'm being forced to continue making payments for something I did not receive, especially since since the time of accepting the arrangement and now I became sick and is unable to work full-time

study material and support to help its customers pass college equivalency examinations. TCN has assisted many customers in obtaining their degrees at the Associate, Bachelor’s or Master’s level
TCN had a 5-Day Cancellation Policy*** *** did not contact TCN within five business days to cancel his contract
*** *** signed her contract with TCN on April 13, for the purchase of Comprehensive Learning Modules related to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program offered by Indiana State University.
TCN would like to take this opportunity to remind *** *** that his TCN program has a “Lifetime Guarantee”, including a testing guarantee**In addition, TCN has developed the Academic Guidance Planner and TCN Resource Center. Those features were designed to assist TCN customers in reaching their educational goals. “The College Network, Incagrees to provide to all customers in good standing the following support for the Comprehensive Learning Modules purchased as long as I have taken at least one of the tests related to the Comprehensive Learning Modules purchased every twelve months from the purchase date forward: Free updated versions of the Comprehensive Learning Modules (shipping and handling may apply) for the duration of my testing program with The College Network, Incand assistance in obtaining information and identifying test site locations
If I have not passed the CLEP, DANTES or Excelsior College* Exam for a particular TCN Comprehensive Learning Module after two attempts, TCN will pay the future cost of re-taking the exam in question, up to the maximum attempts allowed (if any) by CLEP, DANTES, or Excelsior College*Additionally, TCN will provide me with specific study plans with one of its Academic Advisors and/or the use of an approved tutor in my local areaApproval and assignment of a special tutor is solely at the discretion of The College Network, Inc.”

I have been paying College Network since and I am no closer to my RN than when I startedThe material I received in hard copy did not match the web version, I could have enrolled directly through Excelsior but I was led to believe I had to go through College NetworkI was encouraged to finance my testing fees with my "educational loan" but now I am unable to request these fees because I didn't complete the online testsI have previously requested to be released from this contract but this request was denied (January 2015) and I continued to pay for another whole year without getting any benefit for my moneyIn reading all of the poor reviews on this website and many others I really have to wonder what agency governs this type of business and why they are STILL in businessI want no money back, not even the test fees, I just want to be released from the remainder of my contract and I want something for my credit report stating the debt is satisfiedI read so many reviews and

I enrolled with college network June for LPN to BSN program with the *** *** ***At the time of my enrollment, I did not have my transcript from my previous collegesI was enrolled into classes that aas soon as I was able to present my transcripts to *** *** *** and they get approved, the classes that was added to my College network account will be removed and I would only pay fpr the classes I needI sent my Transcripts to the *** *** *** and they were approvedHowever, College Network had already sent my account the their lenders for no payments on my account an damaged my creditI called College Network and complained about this and they told me they were going to remove the classes I don"t need but will still have to pay $7,to the lenders for the one class I will need for the program

The answer that was sent to me does not resolve any of the problems that I have with The College NetworkIt was such a generic responseThe College Network never advertised to me when I signed up, that they were a publishing companyThey told me that they were an acredited school and that I would receive credit and financial aidIt was false. The College Network is not an educational institution, when I called to speak with a Counselor in the Academic Services department this misrepresentation continued by way of the person I spoke with identifying themselves as a Counselor and naming their department "Academic Services" as if they were a school. If the salesman that sold me this product had properly informed me that I was not financing my education, but rather buying study guides I would never have agreed to do "business" with this company. They completely misrepresented themselves to me and now I have a $loan with *** Financial Credit Union for business with this publishing companyI want something to be done about thisI want to be released from The College Network completely and the loan that I haveI also want to be reimbursed for the money paid into this business to date.

I purchased modules from The College Network to complete and to obtain my associates through Excelsior College in December I found out about the company from nursing school and thought it might be a good fit for me to continue my educationI called the local advisers office and she came out my next availabilityShe went over the basics of the program and how fast and easy the program was and how financing was readily availableI was sold everything sounded legitShe very briefly went over some paper work which she took with herI was left with papers of how much I owe themNo copy of the contractI begin the courses and find myself having difficulty preparing to take examsThe courses were so general I could have googled this information and understood betterI was not confident enough to take any exams (I pay out of pocket for exams)Later I found out through co workers that they had the same problems with college network and that they are not accredited and affiliat

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me however, this response is dated 8/31/which is over a month ago and I have yet to see any progress on the resolutionI have had to consistently email Mr*** in order to get any explanationsHe does not return phone calls and when I call the number provided in the letter its to the academic support department and none of those people are capable to forwarding calls to Mr***Additionally, in the release I signed, it was not indicated that it would take 10-weeks to put the agreement in place which is just in keeping with the unfortunate and irresponsible "customer service" TCN consistently displaysI did not agree to a 10-week waiting period, that was not indicated in any agreementThe only reason I was told it took that long was because I had to inquire by email and wait days for a responseThat is not acceptable to meI expect that the agreement be carried out immediately, that I stop receiving letters from lifeway credit requesting my payment and that I get a refund for my September payment due to the excessive and unreasonable amount of time it is taking to resolve an issue with this companyUntil they complete their side of the agreement in full, I am not bound by it meaning I will continue the investigation with the State of Illinois Attorney GeneralI just received notification that they are in the process of investigationI suggest Mr*** make a real effort to execute the agreement and resolve my concernsHe also needs to provide an accurate contact phone number or actually pick up a phone and communicate with peopleThat is called responsible business practicesI can certainly send all of the typed communications I have to the attorney general and indicate that the agreement is not being upheld by TCNIf the lifeway account is not paid off and closed and I have not received a refund for September payment by 10/31/and I have not been provided with documentation proving the account was paid and closed by then, I will submit the additional documentation to the attorney general on 11/1/15.

TCN promises your exam fee checks to be delivered in a decent amount of time…over the years I've been flighting with them they have made it increasingly difficult and hard to obtain these checksI have just about finished the WHOLE program and still am owed of these checksI have not received a check that was requested in almost a YEAR! This was suppose to make it easier, instead I have found myself occurring more debt because of them and having to make choices like do I feed myself this week or take my examI am a hard working nurse…I shouldn't need to make decisions like this!

First, I am paying a loan for this program when I never received any books or study materialSecond, when I tried to cancel, I was told that I couldn't even though I provided proof that I had to take care of a family member that was terminally ill College network sent me a letter stating that I must sign some papers stating that I would not report them or bash there name and they would put the loan with we financial in deferment, which of course I did not sign any papers I then called the university they stated I would get my degree with just to investigate more and was informed by Indiana State College that College Network is giving information and they make students pay for courses that have nothing to do with the career program I was also informed that by Indiana state college that College network is currently in litigation for the same reason I called and complained about They will not return any of my calls but continue to charge my bank account monthly

I entered into a paid contract in with The College NetworkNever had an issue with service until nowJust now I cannot get a reply from their accounting dept to receive my nursing exam reimbursement feeThe only way to contact the dept is by email and there are no other ways to contact the companyThey owe me several thousand dollars for exam feesTheir online study site is still online as well as their academic support staff, but I'm frustrated with the lack of customer service

I am currently an LPNIn 2011, The College Network salesman came to my work place and sold me on signing up to go on to get my RNI signed up by giving a down payment and then charging the rest to my credit card I liked the fact that I could work at my own pace, since I worked in a busy Int Med/peds clinic The first test that I took was Lifespan in 2013, I requested my exam fee check and received it not long after In 2014, I requested another exam fee check for my A & PI received that check as well
On July 2, 2015, I called and requested my exam fee check for MicrobiologyThe College Network proceeded to tell me that they were months behind in issuing the checks due to the amount of requests that they received So I waited, I called several more times and sent several emails to the Accounting deptand I still have not received any funding to take my Micro test I am concerned that this is the way it is going to be for the rest of my courses I have alre

I foolishly decided to use the college network to help me through my education at excelsior college Every time I pass an exam they send me an exam fee check for my next exam I requested an exam fee check (for $350) in December and it is still "processing", as is the exam fee check I requested in May They currently owe me two checks, but I would like to request the last one as well as it seems it could take up to a year
