getting a check is a hassleI am now currently enrolled in a college base programI was trying to refund the remaining test exam fees that I fully paid and financed on my sign upMy recruiter at the time said if at any time I want to cash out the checks I can do soIn when I contemplated on going back to a college base program the customer service said I can not get the refund until I finish paying of my financingNow I called TCN customer rep stated to me they no longer refund checks regardless if the financing is fully paidThose are checks I paid in advance that I did not use and the recruiter told me I can refund or ask for any unused test exam fees at anytimePlease help I can use that money to pay for my tuition

I enrolled with The College Network to assist me with studies to pursue my Associates degree in NursingMy account has been paid in full for quite some timeI have requested a "test fee" reimbursement via fax for a CLEP exam I paid for (out of pocket), passed and sent resultsThis took place in July of I have spoken to advisors who continue to tell me this payment is being processedI have e-mailed the accounting department of TCN with no responseI have more request for testing fees and I have had NO success in contacting anyone that can help

On June 30th [redacted] , Director of customer relations, replied to my previous Revdex.com complaint stating he will credit me approximately $1,to my unused exams fees (this reply was received via Revdex.com complain resolution on 7/14/2015)on 7/I called Mr [redacted] as he requested I do so in his letter, I was told he was on vacation and left a voicemail with my name and numberAfter no return call or email, I called again on 8/to inquire about this refundThe representative told me "We mailed a check to you and it should take approxsix weeks from 6/30"After six weeks the check was not receivedI then called TCN on 8/to speak with Mr [redacted] , yet againThe representative told me he was on vacation, again, and I can leave a voicemailI declined to leave a messageInstead I inquired on my refund, againTHIS representative told me that I was NOT going to be mailed a check, the refund will go straight to Southeast financial, which is their loan company, and that the refund will reach them six weeks after 6/I explained to the representative it has been longer than six weeksHe then told me to give it more timeI have been patiently waiting without any word from Mr [redacted] or Southeast FinancialOn 9/I called Southeast Financial and asked if they received any refunds, they said noSo I called TCN customer service and asked to speak with [redacted] He did not answer, as before, so I left a message stating I have yet to receive my check or refund as promised and my payments to their company will cease until I hear further I would now appreciate a FULL refund and my contract to cease IMMEDIATELYThis has become more stressful than needed and time consuming.Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowI am not satisfied with the resolution because no resolution was offered TCN only stated facts that are known I know that I had days to cancel, I know about the testing gauntee, and I am also aware of the support they provide TCN did not adress any of my concerns or questions Infact TCN did what I refer to as "beating around the bush" The sent a nice response restating parts of their policies and contract This is the same thing they tried to do every time I contacted them via phone I got excuse after excuse They told me they were updating systems, they told me I could not talk to the person in charge (I think his name is ***) they told me they couldn't do anything....etc I did some research of my own, and found out from other people that have posted complaints that they have been "updating systems" for well over a year I would like to try to get some honest straight forward answers to my questions and concerns I don't want a response that is full of policy and contract statements, I want the truth Being that I paid TCN thousands of dollars for there services I think I deserve the truth Therefore, I am going to make this a little more simple for them to interpret I paid TNC up front CASH MONEY the day that I signed the contract I not only paid for the learning modules but I also paid for my [redacted] examsTNC told me that I had to pay them for those exams it was part of the "deal" They also told me that when I was ready to test I would let them known and they would send me my exam moneyWhere is my exam money? Did you spend my money? Do you even have my money? ?What does your system update that has been taking place for a loooong time have to do with sending me my exam fee? Why do you tell people that TCN will support and help them when all you do is hinder their success? Why should I have to pay for my exam via credit card and pay intrest ontop of that when I have already paid for my exam?Why should I have to pay my [redacted] tuition every year when the reason I can't take my exam is because TCN will not send me my exam money.I have no desire to give up on finishing my goals, I would like to complete my degree I can not, however pay for the exams again TCN is doing the opposite of what they advertise they do They are not assising me or supporting me in obtaining my degree TCN is hindering me Not only do I suffer, in many ways because of this, but also my family suffers Regards, [redacted]

I am very disappointed with the College NetworkI have taken exams, all had questions on them I had never seen beforeI'm waiting on my next module They said to daysI called because I had not received my hard copyI ask for a tracking number, it would be 1-days and they would be emailed to meIts been days! Still no tracking number because it hasn't been shipped out yet! Its been working days! I feel I am being scamed! I spoke to the supervisorI did not get any whereSo I ask to speak to his bossHe would not let meI ask who they used for shipping he did not know!!!! I would not recommend them to anyone!!!!!

I have not been using the online service much as it was not successful at assisting me with testing outI have instead been actually taking the courses online through Excelsior CollegeI was not going to frustrate things and was just seeking to recoupe the testing fees that The College Network is suppose to provide for testingI requested such testing fees on October 3rdAt this time still have not received the feeI contacted The College Network again on November and was told to call a phone number which had a message system telling me to email [email protected] which I didStill no response and still no payment for the testing feesThe end of this week will be two months attempting to get the testing fees to test out on tests that I am not taking because I am taking the actual course instead because The College Network service is not effective for me and I am not even using it and have not for well over two years

I signed up for TCN to get my BSNIt seemed like a legitimate business in After taking none of the tests and struggling with the course material they refused to give my money backI continue to to make monthly payments for something I never usedI used course material for one classNo tests or modulesYet they won't return my moneyI will start a legitimate pre-med program in the fall- but will still be out thousands of dollars I think all those who have been scammed should receive refundsEspecially since investigations and lawsuits have and continue to occur
