So I have done my research and the people selling you the contract are not car guardI have has them for while and they have fixed many repairsHowever make sure the company that sells you the policy has good customer service like " Auto Service Center "The run around from other companies usually came from the company you buy if from not actually car guard

I brought an extended warranty from CarGuard in January My car needed work that was covered by the warranty and CarGuard did not honor their warranty CarGuard sent their inspector out to BMW and denied my claim stating that it is pre-existing I have a used BMW so I guess anytime something goes wrong with my car that is covered they are going to say it is pre-existing They should inspect the cars before they sell you a warranty I feel ripped off and discouraged

been resolved with the exception of (1) and he was satisfied with our progressI am going to continue my efforts with Mr*** to resolve his last item, and then he will be a graduate of our credit repair programMy last conversation occurred on 4/12/and he is aware I am responding to this complaint and we are on the same page

I bought a policy through Autopom which apparently sold me a Car Guard Administration policy which they never disclosed they were a broker of insurance and not an actual insurance company Two and half months after I bought the policy my car was taken into the dealership for an oil changeThey informed me that the oil filter housing gasket needed to be replaced It took days for them to send someone out to look at it and another day to come back stating it was an existing condition because dirt was on the oil laden gasketI live in Phoenix Arizona and it is not surprising that and oily metal was covered with fine particulate sand I feel that there was a bait and switch in the sale of the policy and the current policy owner is just denying claims stating it was pre-existing So basically they can come back after any issue and state it was pre-existing and they don't need to cover it Also the manager never called me back and it took calls to get him and only did so by accide

I purchase a warranty with car guard which I paid in full the contract was purchase in 3/17/I totaled my car on 10/13/which I had a little over 81,miles on it my contract was for coverage up to 142,miles didn't get to use the extra miles so I ask for a refund for the difference which they been giving me the run around ever since I called every week since the accident still no results as of 1/3/

I called today 8/8/about CarTreatyThis company sold me the warranty on my vehicleI found out CarGuard is the company I should report issues regarding my warrantyThe information is found on page in the booklet CarTreaty sent me on 11/4/CarTreaty has a F rating from Revdex.com and not licensedI haven't had enough time or vehicle claim to state anything negative against CarGuardThey have a rating A with Revdex.com

what a terrible extended warranty, worked harder to deny a claim and wasted time right down to how long the prompts arehorrible way to treat customers, I am a advisor at a car dealership trying to get the problems covered by the warranty company, this should be easy, they have not even a thought of covering a problem, I will spread the word

My car started running hot while on the highway headed to Indianapolis IndianaI googled the nearest service center for Cadillac I then found a service center in Mishawaka Indiana they took my car in right away I gave them my car guard membership cardThey came back with the results of a leak in my radiator & the amount fix it and stated it was covered in the warranty I had with car guard and the service guy reached out to car guard we were on hold for hours we spent from 9am until well after they closed at calling back forward from car guard claims and adjuster representativesWhen we got through we were told by car guard that we had pay our bill which wasn’t even due until the 15th of oct & it was only the 8th or they would deny the claim mad I didn’t feel like that was right but my fiancé paid it because we don’t have for car repair right nowAfter paying it we were told by car guard the claim was started and they would reach out the dealership get repair

Hello, I was told to contact ***The Credit Pros took approx$out of my account over the course of several monthsI was promised a credit score in the 700's, which I achieved on my ownThey did nothing to help, I established my first credit card, got my limits increased, got a second credit card, made all payments on time, all of which could have been done on my ownI made several attempts to stop their autodraft of my checking act, but no one there answers the phone or returns emailsThey agreed to send back a measly $to me by check which I've not receivedI lelaudedal voicemails, and in response I got an email with a picture of a check, and my bank laughed at me when I tried to deposit itThey also agreed to continue working on my credit file, and my husband's file, for free, for lifeBut they will not even answer the phone our my emailsI want to know what further action can be taken. CarGuard denied claims based on pre-existing condition that I believe the breakdown meets contract requirements I would like to have this settled via Mediation as stated in the contract but I cannot get anyone in management or legal to return phone calls or letters In the weeks I have been dealing with CarGuard, I have been unable to get them to return a phone call (supervisor or legal dept) after leaving professional and polite messages requesting a return call

We were solicited by an auto warranty company called CarGuard to buy an extended warranty for our Mercedes-Benz e-4Matic sedanWe bought the policy, administered by Carguard Admiminisration Incfor a company called Car Protection USA (Bristol, Costa Mesa, CA) at a cost of $3562, for which they promised to cover major repairs up to 100,milesHow foolish of us to fall for their sales job!
The first time we filed a claim (we needed two new motor mounts) they only covered the cost of one because they said we didn't need the other oneA little more than one year later, sure enough the motor mount they didn't cover needed to be replacedBut instead of covering for a genuine Mercedes part, they wanted to only cover for a cheap generic (even though they had covered the genuine part the first time)Fast forward to our most recent situationWe needed a number of repairs (totaling over $5,000)We knew we would have to eat some of that, but they are only covering a FIFTH of the cost we are being charged by our service shopThey did nothing but stonewall us every time we have tried to get them to cover what they promised in their glitzy promotional materials ("peace of mind for that next bump in the road!!" "drive care free!")We have been absolutely ripped off by these peopleMost insurance companies will move heaven and earth to keep from paying claims but these thieving crooks take it to a completely new levelWe were exhausted with trying to get them to do what they promised on the phoneI am sure the fine print in the contract we signed will say that they are not responsible but that, of course is not the story they were telling us on the phoneI want to put these guys on blast so they can't victimize anyone else

I was cold called several times by Protech Vehicle Services http://protechvsc.com/ and finally gave in to purchasing a vehicle warranty with themThe service contract was with CarGuard Administration Inchttps://www.carguard-admin.com/
There were several tell tale signs that I ignoredProtech sold me a service contract with CarGuard even though their website says they service warranty contracts themselvesMy Mastercard prevented the second payment from going through twice stating it as fraudulentProtech was prompt to call me and I stupidly gave them my Amex card that went throughAnd finally, months later when vehicle dealership pointed out leaks during a regular service, there began the harrowing process of the claimaJust getting through via phone was next to impossibleThey kept dealership and myself holding for up to an hour before picking upbThey plainly denied both leaks stating, since dealership found the leaks its not considered a breakdown(it should not matter who found the leaks)
cDespite requesting to speak to supervisor on each of the calls attempted, several excuses were given to avoid thatAnd after several harrowing negotiations said additional teardown will be required (that I will have to pay for if they decline)The dealership also warned me that this company was not reliable and to simply cancel the contract which I didI further recovered my funds by disputing the credit card paymentsThese companies operate as a ring to scam customersOnly pay with credit card and when they decline a covered repair with bad customer service simply charge the payments back through your credit card companyPS: I would give starsGiving one star as thats the minimum required to post the review

I bought the Powertrain Enhanced Service Contract back in December of and have had no problems with my truck but took my truck in to the Ford Dealership in May of because my there was a noise underneath the truck Ford found the problem to be in the transmission which was suppose to be covered by this companyFord had to take the transmission down to see exactly what it was and they called this company for me and explained to me that the CarGuard people would have to come out and inspect the transmission That was fine After days go buy finally someone came out and Marcus from the Ford Service Center sent them pictures After spending HOURS trying to get ahold of them I was finally told my claim was denied due to "Pre-existing condition" The service Manager and technicians at Ford said that they were wrong that they can't tell if it was done before the contract date Basically they are telling me I was a lier My family told me not to do this but I thought it would
