Terrible service They try to get out of paying on whatever it is on your vehicle stay away!

We were talked into a contract with Car Guard with the promise of a day cancellation period The sales agent told us to check with our local car dealership to get their opinion of the company which we did We were told that the dealership did not recommend them Consequently we called back to cancel It took days for them to return our call They argued but finally agreed to cancel and refund our down payment A few days later we actually received the paperwork originally promised and found that Car Guard was only minimally involved The contract was actually with Vehicle Protection DeptLLC of Santa Ana, CA and other companies none of which had ever been mentioned in the sales call It took certified letters to each company and additional days to finally receive the promised refund of the down payment We'll have to monitor our credit card to insure that they do not try to charge the installment payments

I use carguard for every vehicle I owngreat customer service and always pay there claims which is what your looking for in a warranty company hands downcarguard is the best!!

Seemed great at first until I needed to actually use the warranty Couldn't locate an ASE Certified shop to agree to the terms of the agreement apparently making it null and void When asked about shops they've dealt with, crickets

Do not use this CarGuard! I received my warranty policy through a third party seller who no longer uses Carguard due to their terrible service to customersI purchased their top of the line policy for my BMW My car had been inspected just prior to the purchase and it was in perfect conditionmonths later I tired to use the policy and was denied for “atmospheric conditions”! I disputed the claim but initially thought my service company had input the claim incorrectly and wound up paying for the repair myselfThe second time, the BMW dealership found a problem and contacted Carguard for me It took several attempts and several days to get an inspectionI was denied this time due to “pre-existing conditions”I did, after much work, speak to a supervisor one timeHe emailed me later to tell me that I was still deniedI to this day, can not get any information beyond as to what they mean specifically I have statements from the first service company, the dealer and a BMW mechanic that my conditions were not pre-existingI hope this helpsI will say the company (the CEO actually) who originally sold me the policy (Autopom!) has been great in trying to help me get this resolvedWe together unfortunately, haven’t gotten a resolution from CarGuard and may neverI am investigating legal recourse against CarGard

I purchase carguard on my 750li BMW when I needed to use the warranty they did tow my car to the dealership After the dealership ship contacted carguard none of the things that the representative stated would be covered was notI ended up paying out of my own pocket dollars I called and talked with representative to cancel warranty They stated they sold me the wrong coverage and that they would change warranty to one that would cover my car better ; so I went with itMonths later I needed service again , I called the representative talk to him about wht was going on with my car he stated yes it will be covered Again after the dealership tells me what needs to be fixed is not covered at allAt this point I'm done ! I should have canceled this contract the first time that would have saved me a lot of cashThey got over on me the money I was paying them I could have just saved it and fixed the car with thatTo anyone thinking about purchasing a warranty from carguard think it over!

The above client was signed up in December and was serviced as discussedClient was fully aware of our process as there had been several communication attemptsClient even cancelled then requested to come back to usThe only reason
clients scores did not improved is because he is maxing out his credit cards which we advised him against since day oneThis client is NOT entitled to a refund

Its a CONEveryone there hates their jobTerrible customer serviceIt’s one of those Warranty companies that do not do deposit refundsI was told to contact the company that sold me the warranty which is weird cause I thought it was themI have to send in a cancellation letter hopefully they stop taking my moneyReally upset I was breaking my back to pay for a warranty that covers nothing that will actually go wrong with my car unless it was a hundred years old

I purchased a car warranty on my vehicle through CarGuard Administration, INC that started on 4/22/This warranty was a platinum membership which covers my car from bumper to bumper for up to 100,miles or yearsIn return I’d have a monthly billSince 2/23/I have been trying to get my vehicles repairs to be compensated by CarGuard as promised, but when I filled the claim they took days to respondThey then sent an inspector to be sure that the repairs were legitimate and then declined serviceWhen I asked why they declined they said they need service records, mainly of oil changesI then provided them with several invoices of oil changes and a spark plug replacementAfter that I continued to try to reach out to them and am unable to get anyone on the phoneWhen I finally did speak to somebody they said that they are still discussing the claim and they would call me with the decision the following dayThis was on 3/1/I haven’t since been able to get in conta

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY YOU DO NOT HAVE A WARRANTY because they will dishonor your claim Ceci Harris, the administrator is such a bully and liar! We are in the process of filing a lawsuit against the company They are dishonorable and dismissive! They are conducting a legal RIP OF! You are better off with no extended warranty that to trust this company

I'm paying on a extended warranty with issues that are covered and it was denied

This company contacted my elderly Mother who told them that she had to review any items with me as I am on the title with her She then noticed a $item on her credit card and did not know what it was so she filed it as a fraudulent charge with her bank She then was called by this company and they told her she was the one who was committing fraud by negating a charge she authorized She did not sign anything but within days had a "contract" in the mail with $as her monthly coverage plan She then called to cancel and was told that she was immature, rude and that I would have to pay for something she committed to even though all she wanted was to cancel within her day window for compliance within the document contract for cancellation policy These people are the ones who are rude and try to intimidate people into accepting whatever they say They have no couthI am writing a cancellation letter to them today

They will do anything and everything not to pay a claimIt's smooth sailing when they take the money but you call for a claim and they shift masks

I recently made my first claim for a failed A/C system after paying the policy for about a year
The customer service were pleasant to talk to but contradicted each other and lied about coverage
Delay's in getting the adjuster/mechanical inspector to the shop cost time and money to address costs for component breakdown requested by the original claim adjusterAt the end of the claim a supervisor said they do not require breakdown and will not pay, even though I and the dealership representative qualified that on the phone together when directedIts seemed crazy as the leak was visible
The service rep and I separately had to keep calling for resolution
Needless to say they didn't cover the costs they insisted onThough they did pay for part of the failure
My concern after reading the Car Guard complaints is I see a standard operating practice that is designed to refuse customer claims and refer to the seller for reimbursement if not satisfiedThis is further reinforc
