What about tranaction [redacted]-343-BBY this was an exchange not a return. Purchased [redacted] TV [redacted] in exchange for [redacted] TV 74gb. Also [redacted]-400-BBY was recall of [redacted] which was recalled by [redacted]. Also,[redacted]-750-BBY was exchange of [redacted]. A6000 camera without lens for one with a lens. Also [redacted]-210-BBY was price match on [redacted] drone.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.{ The service provider has not responded to my concern of data security and why they use our government issued id and scan and store it in their system to track our return usage.  This is my specific response to their ( the business) question.  I was not denied a return, the return was processed succesfully and credited to my credit card.  However my private government information is now stored in your system and I want it removed.  I will not deal with any retailer or their third party who has to record my government issued private identification, which includes my address of residence, my birthdate and my unique government issued ID and picture.  The details of the specific transaction which resulted in this unfortunate situation is attached to this message and is repeated here: retailer: [redacted] - [redacted] - Fort Lauderdale, FL.  The date and time of the transaction: 4/24/15 3:41 PM.   The Customer: [redacted], the online return order # [redacted] amt (11.83).  The barcode information on my return slip [redacted].   I WANT my private government information to be permanently ERASED from  your system and confirmed to me in writing.  Also,  you should duly inform customers that you are collecting such information up front and that you will take full responsibility for any breach which may result should your data center and any customers' private information which you store in your system is compromised, and that you will notify the public immediately should your data get hacked, misused or compromised.  I hold you responsible for any risk of theft of my identity and/or associated credit, as a result of failure to comply with my request to erase any information about me from your system. }[redacted]

Just like a reviewer here who had a bestbuy issues with this company I am in the same boat. After being denied a bestbuy product return I called the compnay and requested a tranaction receit of all my returns. waited and waited.. it never came. so I called again and they said they were sending it and yet again it never came. It seems like it is always the same Indian guy on the phone.
When I finally got the report via email it was completely inacurate. Bestbuy had sold me a defective TV and I exchnaged it for the same TV but in working condition but for some reason that was counted as a return. Shame on you bestbuy and RE for treating customers like random numbers instead of people. I called and requested to file a dispute, 7 business days later and I am still waiting for the form in the mail. I work in IT and buy all my companies electronics from Bestbuy and now I will never shop there again. Please beware of how bestbuy has patnered with this company to treat long time customers like thieves. I have called bestbuy repeateadly about this and they have admited that they have gotten a lot of negative reviews of how the people receiving calls at RE are very rude and inhumane.
How I just have to keep waiting past the two weeks return policy from bestbuy then my claim will probably be denied. Bestbuy has lost a good customer and I will never recommend you to any of my friends, family, or clients. I intend on closing my best buy card and fighting this till the very end. To bestbuy and RE, you still have time to make this right before you lose more customers forever.

5th – July 30th. Please keep in mind that there are a few ways to prevent future denials for non-receipted returns with original tender of store credit.
 
-      Always keep your paper or electronic receipt. This speeds up the transaction time and makes your return a receipted return.
-         The most effective way to prevent future denials is to use credit/debit cards or customer agreements for your in-store purchases. This allows our cashiers the ability to use our Receipt Lookup functionality to locate your receipt on subsequent returns.
-         Store credits should be used minimally and as an exception only. Store credits typically arise from prior non-receipted returns. Receipted returns where store credit was used on the original receipt are treated as non-receipted returns and are therefore subject to system approval. Also, utilizing store credits issued to others can negatively impact your ability to make future non-receipted returns.
-         If you are a contractor or a PRO customer, signing up for the PRO Xtra program can help you maintain your receipts online, receive electronic receipts and offer many additional benefits. If you are interested in this program, please visit your local The Home Depot store’s PRO desk.

The return receipt does not contain a number followed by BBY. The only transaction number on the return receipt that seems to match is [redacted]. The warning was displayed on their computer system and required me to sign the payment pad to acknowledge the message.

[redacted] understands that tightening a return policy is always a risk to the
client experience they have taken that into consideration before doing so by
providing email receipts, printed receipts, gift receipts, and receipt look if you used your Beauty Insider account/Debit/Credit Card
or made your purchase online.  With that
said, just note that [redacted]'s POS only keeps purchase history in a rolling 365 days.

Return Equation:

is able to accommodate your request to have the [redacted] transaction
[redacted]-SPH removed from the Returns Activity Report since the original
purchase was located. [redacted] can also make exceptions and authorize a
non-receipted return that you attempt. By calling TRE you can begin the dispute
process to potentially have a non-receipted return go through. [redacted]
 has made changes to their non-receipted return policy and have placed
some limits. [redacted] understands that tightening a return policy is always a
risk to the client experience but [redacted] has taken that into consideration
before doing so by providing email receipts, printed receipts, gift receipts,
and receipt look if you used your Beauty Insider account/Debit/Credit Card or
made your purchase online. With that said, just note that Sephoar's POS only
keeps purchase history in a rolling 365 days. Please be advised that it is best
to shop with your receipt. Future non-receipted returns are subject to not
being approved in our system."
While The Return Equation offered to erase the specific
transaction that initiated my complaint to the Revdex.com, they did not address the
primary issue at hand: their storage of my personal data. Following is text
from my original complaint to the Revdex.com and my desired outcomes:
"1) I want all of my purchase history and personal
information ERASED from The Return Equation. I do NOT consent to The Return
Equation's storage of my personal information for ANY reason. To be completely
clear: I do not want ANY data related to me (driver's license, address,
birthday, etc) or my transactions at ANY store ([redacted], [redacted], [redacted], etc)
in The Retail Equation's digital or hard copy database. 2) I would like the Revdex.com
to be aware that [redacted] uses this inept third party to handle its returns
without being clear and upfront about the practice. I've now found the fine
print on the receipt - but there is nothing posted or verbalized when making a
purchase. I also didn't receive any kind of notice back on January 1, the last
time I made a return without a receipt. This is a deceptive practice which puts
the business before the customer. It seems less about fraud prevention and more
about discouraging legitimate returns to maximize profits."
The Return Equation did not address point 1) in the
slightest. To reiterate: I want ALL of my personal information removed from The
Return Equation's hard copy and digital files/databases. I DO NOT
consent to their storage of my personal information, including
my transactions at ANY store, my name, driver's license number, phone
number, email, or physical address.
