26th, 2014 was due to a high return rate. Please understand that The Home Depot does have the right to limit the return/exchanges that they process at their stores. However, The Home Depot would like to offer you a 14 day window (starting August 6th 2014) in order for you to return any unwanted merchandise back to The Home Depot.
Please keep in mind that store credit purchased items if returned are treated as non-receipted. Also please note that The Home Depot can retrieve receipt information if the original credit card, debit card or a blank check is present with the account numbers that were used to make the purchase. The use of store credits not issued directly to you or letting others use your store credits may also impact your ability to conduct returns.

I appreciate the transaction [redacted] being removed from my profile, but it is not even close to the resolution I asked for, and the business did not address any of my complaints.I want the FIVE returns I made with receipts to be removed from my profile, since they were legitimate and non-fraudulent returns. Additionally, what guarantee do I have that they will not just reject future legitimate with receipt returns? Can they provide that in writing? If they cannot, I will have to file a Revdex.com complaint against [redacted].

Please keep in mind that The Home Depot can retrieve receipt information if the original credit card, debit card or a blank check is present with the account numbers that were used to make the purchase. The use of store credits not issued directly to you or letting others use your store credits may also impact your ability to conduct returns. Also please note that store credit purchased items if returned are treated as non-receipted.
•Utilize credit cards and customer agreements for purchases. When you have to return something the returns cashier can utilize the receipt look up function using the card or customer agreement numbers used in the original transaction.
•Also be aware that using store credits NOT issued to you may affect your ability to make NON-RECEIPTED returns or receipted returns purchased w/store credits.
•If you’re a contractor, sign up for Pro Loyalty Program. You may then utilize and maintain receipts on-line as well as other benefits.

Please provide the correct transaction ID number located on your warning or denial slip. The transaction Id number you provided ([redacted]) is incorrect and does not exist in our data base. Please insure that the numbers are correct. We will gladly start a dispute process with the retailer on your behalf once we have the correct information.

With that said, we are unable to locate you in our database with the information you've provided. A name search, email search and phone number search did not bring up any of your information. This could mean that your information doesn't exist in our database or Bath & Body Works has yet to send us this information for us to store. However, a more conclusive search can be made by using the drivers license number which was used at the time of the return or exchange. If you'd like to provide us with your drivers license number so that we may search our database feel free to call the phone number provided in this response.

[I have a project that is now complete and have waited over 90 days since the purchase and am prevented from making my returns of new and unused items to Home Depot by The Retail Equation.Home Depot reports that The Retail Equation stipulated that I should wait an additional 90 days to be allowed returns again... I have waited another 90 days and still am not allowed to make my Hope Depot returns by The Retail Equation.I want to be able to again make returns to Home Depot and ask that my account again be enabled to do so by The Retail Equation]

When I went to return items I didn't take receipt because the cashier at [redacted] ([redacted]) looked them up on my credit card and found the purchases. Each time they ran my driver's license and I guess it went against me. My problem is three things:1. Retail Equation said record should have been cleared within a 12 month period. It's been 3 years since the last return. [redacted] is the only that does this against people's credit record.2. I took my son and husband in the store to see what would happen.  Their CA id's were rejected also. I want to know what my license and their license have to against my driver's license?  How is this connected? They have never even been in the store to shop.  I wrote a letter and did everything they wanted and they have no record of checking their id's with the rejected receipt. Now I would have to do it all over again. I keep getting the run around with Retail Equation. There not even in the US, other people working in India.3. Retail Equation has a lot of complaints on them against [redacted] and [redacted] doing this.  I don't have any problems with those merchants. I believe it is [redacted] doing this in a way that is not really fair.Could you look into a bit more. I just want my record clean. [redacted] can put a note anywhere they want saying that I can't return without a receipt because no one has to worry, I will never shop there again. The company has all the records. I don't know how to download them and it is a lot. Would be more waste of time. I have spent way to much time on this nonsense.  Also, I was informed that I can get a full copy of my file not just the return activity report. I asked RE yesterday and it seemed to be a no. I do not accept your answer (The Home Depot has temporarily (6/3-7/3) re-established your ability to conduct returns.) Why is someone points me where and when I should or I can go and do a refund or exchange. We live in a free country. I'm just following the law. If the policy says (Returns made without a valid sales receipt or an expired receipt may be exchanged or refunded to a Home Depot store credit or a Home Depot Commercial Account for the lowest advertised price).  I just lost receipt, I can not find it . Why do you deprive me of that right. Or someone said that I was a criminal. I did everything according to the law, and strongly ask you to follow the law, too. I just tried to return without a receipt once in the past year (and even then I could not do it) I want to remove my name from the list (blacklist)
