November 17, Hello [redacted] ***,After reading the letter from your office concerning [redacted] and pulling his file we received the Reservation Center Official Vacation Booking form by at the bottom [redacted] was requesting a refund for $We attempted twice to email *** [redacted] concerning his request to explain that the refund requested amount was never paid to [redacted] ***.I believe [redacted] has our company confused with the company that gave [redacted] our informationWe do not advertise or sell anything we are just the booking company that assigned [redacted] the booking codes to go on line to book the vacation of his choice.Please forward [redacted] request for the refund to the company that those funds were paid to for his settlement.Sincerely, Donna

May 19, 2015 Dear [redacted] ***, After reading the complaint from [redacted] and reviewing the email correspondence that was enclosed I wish I could answer her question as to why the quote changed. I can tell you that prices sometimes change due to availability. The booking companies we... use are not dishonest they do not mislead customers they can only give the price that the hotel, airline or cruise ship gives them. I truly wish I could answer the question better but I just can't.As to the refund request of $50.00 I can override the refunds department decision and give [redacted] the refund she is seeking. Please have [redacted] send the refund request to TCWWCustomerService@ [redacted] .com and have her place my name Donna, and my position as comptroller in the email and this will by-pass that department's earlier decision. Please have [redacted] place her current mailing address in the email this will speed up the process and I can process the refund immediately. March 6, Dear [redacted] ***, After reading [redacted] letter and in pulling her file this is what we have on recordNowhere in [redacted] 's file is there any mention of people she is activating for [redacted] activated for two people not peopleAlso it was for day and nights not the extended days she requested along with the additional travelersThe Travel Center and [redacted] are two different companies just as the company that the vacation was purchased fromAs the signed documents enclosed verify [redacted] had knowledge of this prior to sending the Travel Center any moneyThe Travel Center would never have told [redacted] that the airfare is included since the Travel Center is not the company that sold the packageSince the Travel center does not sell, advertise anythingAs to [redacted] statement that the booking processes took too long, since the Travel Center is not the booking company that company will have to answer to those questions.The Travel Center is not involved in a bait and switch scamOn the documents enclosed it is clear as to what services the Travel Center providesIt is clear that [redacted] does not read and retain the terms and conditions of the companies that have been involved in the processI cannot and will not allow [redacted] to group our company with the company that she claims had mislead her into believing that people can travel for the price of twoAs to vacation that was purchased from [redacted] that was not being listed on the booking company's website that the Travel Center provided [redacted] Then why submit for the vacation request quote to be given for something that was purchased and was not listed? A call should have been made to our customer service department to find out why it was not listed on the booking company's websiteUnless the bait and switch portion of this is coming from [redacted] 's attempt to get something that our booking companies cannot supplySince the Travel Center has no knowledge of what was purchased, as stated on the signed documentsThe Travel Center would only have knowledge of what our booking companies can supplyThe Travel Center cannot and will not be held responsible for the he said she said factor when all the documents | supplied from [redacted] and were signed by [redacted] say this fact.Since the documents enclosed verify our involvement as to only being the company that assigns a discount booking companyWe have no knowledge of what was sold / or given to any clientSince [redacted] has threatened our company on many levels all because she did not read and comprehend what she has either purchased or was givenSince [redacted] changes her story as to what was actually submitted to our company and in the letter to your agency what was purchasedShe continues to demand a full refund being issued from the Travel Center from two different email addressesNo further correspondence is required by the Travel Center since no refund is required due to the documents that were signed by [redacted] It is her choice to accuse us of things we had nothing to do with or had knowledge ofYou can read the emails to and from [redacted] enclosed as to why no further response will be forth coming from the Travel CenterSince her bait and switch tactic will not be tolerated by the Travel Center I suggest sugar is better than vinegar when dealing with signatures on documentsSincerely, DonnaComptroller

They had us leaving [redacted] airport at 11:at night the first day, staying that next day, the third day we would leave there at 6:am This is giving us hours there Would you or anyone else spend that much money to stay a day NO! To Whom it May Concern: My purpose for contacting the RevDex.com is to report the deceitful practices of travel agencies like the Travel Center. I did pay $50 to expedite the process of receiving 2 free plane tickets to our destination of choice. The Travel Center... keeps putting out more hoops to jump thru to expedite this process further. They require we now pay $25 for another "quote" since the destination we originally chose didn't have black out dates. We were not notified of this when first choosing this destination. August 18, Dear *** ***,After reading the letter and pulling the *** file it is clear that there is a problem with the booking company receiving the correspondence to start the booking processI have personally contacted the booking company and requested them to send an
email to the email address provided in the letter of *** to start the booking process if it has not been started.This should take care of the problem I know sometimes if all the boxes are not checked and all the information is not filled out the reservation is not submitted to the booking company as quickly or if the client has specific requests as to the hotel, airline or cruise ship roomsWith the online booking company contacting the *** party this should resolve the issue in the letterSincerely,

Thank you very much for your quick response! You have referenced about the response email on July 3rd which sorry that I did not receive any email from Revdex.com on July 3rd for the above ID#. Please re-open this complaint regarding Travel Center. This whole thing has got so far as a scam and please give me a chance to explain the whole things in detail and hope that you will have a better understanding of everything.
I had filed two complaints in June:

Since the package deals did not fall through with *** ***, they had refund me $(attached)Then, I tried to email Travel Center to request for the refund of the activation fee $in *** and their below response email:

Per Travel Center instruction, how could I not complete the registration formsPer their above response, it did not make any sense to request me to return the blank/not used or filled registration forms, in order for them to process my refund!

I am rejecting this response because: The Travel Center's response to this complaint is totally unacceptable and incorrect My specific response to their letter is as follows:
All of the complaint issues were certainly NOT covered in the documentation they attached I have the same documentation and more
We did not change our travel dates twice, as was written in their letter And that fact isn't even relevant to this issue We changed from April to November (when it was finally disclosed that April is peak season along with March - September) specifically stating on each document that we needed more information on the surcharge costs first Peak season was never clarified in initial documents….but it was stated that travel could occur within one year of booking date and not within days of a major holiday We still could not get specifics of costs of surcharges and travel dates, despite our inquiries to the phone number listed The check I sent was for $138.00, not $as in their letter….they should at least proofread their own letter The Travel Center number was in the documentation and I underlined it in order to call them, which I did many times and waited over minon hold, hanging up until finally we called and got a response No specific answers were given and we were told that only the booking company could give us those answers we needed in order to decide if we could afford our "bonus" vacation They are correct in saying their documentation does not say "FREE" vacation, but their phone solicitors most certainly described it as free Their documentation states "bonus vacation" many times "Bonus" to most English speaking people means something given at no extra cost, does it not? The dictionary would agree, and the presenters indicated this as well Yes, they finally defined Peak Season after we sent in our $138.00, but nowhere in the initial information was this defined as months of the year that you could not travel for this trip without surcharges and extra fees We never would have gone to the presentation because we are very limited in our travel times as well
I underlined "Monday and Tuesday departure dates" and the phone number on the documentation, because this is one of the things I wanted to ask about, not because I was OK with it And as stated earlier, we DID call, yet received no answers Minimally this company should allow a refund within a certain time period after full costs of their requested trip and travel times has been disclosed
At the Travel Center, they most certainly do NOT make any attempt, as stated, to disclose the specific amounts of fees and taxes before the deposit is nonrefundable That was the entire problem!! All we desired was full information in order to make a decision if we could take this "Bonus" vacation, being responsible with our finances It was a mistake to think the Travel Center would act with integrity when they told me by phone that the booking company could give me the information I needed, insinuating that I could find out the costs of my trip in order to make a responsible decision about taking the trip By the time we could contact the booking company, the deposit was nonrefundable Is that honest business practice??
They commented their opinion on spending $for a day/night/all inclusive with air as being a pretty good dealTheir opinion is beside the fact and irrelevant to the discussion What does "Bonus" mean…..if they told the truth initially,
many people would never step foot in the presentations….so they resort to deceitful wording and half truths to get people
in the door The initial phone solicitation was certainly all about "free."
We should have checked Revdex.com first to see The Travel Center's F rating on a scale of A+ - F Doesn't that support the validity of our complaints? We just spent far too much time re-reading the wording of all the documentation in order of receipt, and yes, it is deceptive business practice to make the deposit nonrefundable before full detailed costs of a particular trip are disclosed by the booking company We clarified on both pieces of signed documentation that we needed information on the surcharges first This company is no doubt "collecting", (stealing) money from unsuspecting people who read carefully, as we do, and simply want to be the recipients of their seemingly honest offer, but get frustrated with the process and either give in and spend money they don't have to spend, or give up and let The Travel Center keep the deposit, The Travel Center hiding behind their unclear wording as a disclaimer
We expect a full refund of this $ We don't have much extra money to put vacationing, as we have kids in college $is very little money to The Travel Center, but it is a lot to us, and to many people who fall into this same deceptive practice We are trying to make an honest and responsible living, careful with our money, and were truly looking forward to this vacation, but not at this cost We are entitled to our money back I have a day by day documentation of the information received, emails, responses and the order of information disclosed to the point of "non refundable," if needed, to take this further I am willing to fill in these blanks if necessary, but this letter is long already
REVIEW of information NOT DISCLOSED in the presentation that is necessary for deciding on a "bonus vacation:"
a Travel restrictions: day advance notice (allowing only months available instead of year promised for travel)
b "Peak Season" travel is March-September (allowing only months available for travel in the year promised)
c Monday and Tuesday departure dates only (this limits working people and increases the cost - missed work)
d Actual cost of "small administration fee" for changes was never disclosed at all
e The fact that details of the cost of the trip would not be given until after the deposit is nonrefundable
This should present clear facts as to why this case should not be closed and that The Travel Center owes us $ We have received absolutely nothing and they have kept our money, at our expense of a ridiculous amount of time and frustration on an amount of money that means nothing to them
