Dear *** ***After reading the letter from *** *** and pulling her file this is what we have in responseI have enclosed copies of the documents that we have on file for *** ***On the first document that *** *** sent in with her activation payment of $it covers some of the
issues *** *** brought up in her letter to your agency.The Travel Center does not sell, advertise or promote anythingThe Travel Center has hundreds of companies nationwide that use our company to provide discount travel to their clients from realtors, car dealerships, sports organizations just to mention a fewWe are not affiliated with the company Elite that *** *** said put on the presentation she attended.On the documents that *** *** sent to our office it states “Travelers are responsible for government taxes, cruise, booking, and processing and activation feesTaxes and fees for the vacation depend on the length of the vacation and season of travelA day advanced notice is required for all vacation packagesVacation pricing are subject to change prior to bookingThese vacation packages are to be used for off peak season travel.” This was the document that was given to *** *** for attending the presentationThis is the first document that *** *** mailed to our office with the activation fee of $On the Booking information needed form that was signed by *** *** it covers the refund issues “Once travel documents and booking codes are ordered and purchased by the Travel Center at your request, there cannot be any refunds of any fees collected by the Travel CenterThe bonus vacation that you have chosen is separate from the Travel Center and is not a Travel Center ProductThis bonus vacation will be handled by the chosen vacation providerThe Travel Center is not responsible for any advertisement of the product you purchased or written and verbal agreements made by the company you purchased it fromIf you have any questions about the package please call that company.” These documents should have made *** *** aware that the vacation was not free since the document that *** *** sent our office outlined the fees involved that *** *** would have to pay*** *** should have addressed these issues at that time she was presented the document from Elite or with our customer service department prior to requesting the access codes to the online booking company.As of this date the Travel Center has not received a request for a refund from *** ***Since all of her concerns have been addressed and all the documentation I have provided proves that the Travel Center has not duped *** ***I suggest that *** *** get in touch with the company that gave the presentation to address her concerns and to receive the FREE vacation she was given since the Travel Center does not offer FREE vacations., Sincerely,Donna Comptroller

Per your mailing regarding the complaint from Mr*** I have read over the
file and will do my best to answer any questions or concerns they have addressedAs this is a very short complaint from Mr*** We here at Fun Time do not have much information to go off of as far as the letter is concernedIt seems that no questions have been asked and their complaint is only partially directed towards our company so | Will simply give the information that I have and leave it at thatMr*** sent his registration fee of $in the form of a check to our company and it was received on 5/12/2015, on 5/14/their Registration Confirmation was sent the email that they provided on their documentation which was *** ***At this time it is the customer's responsibility to print out and fill out the documentation that they have received, returning it within a year to begin the booking of their vacationThey did not complete this stepThe next form of contact that We received from Mr*** Would be an email sent to Our customer service department on 6/25/asking us the status of their vacation also stating that they have not received their woucherOn 6/26/2015the customer service staff replied to that email asking Mr*** what his promotional code was in order to be able to assist the customer properlyThere was no response to this emailThis was the last Contact from this Customer that has been receivedTo address the claim that Mr*** has not been able to get a hold of our company for assistance, this is obviously untrueNot only has the document that Mr*** needed had been emailed but the one and only email sent from Mr*** was replied to with no response from Mr*** in our reply for assistanceIn response to the request of a refund from Mr***, we here at Fun Time will be more than happy to assist Mr*** with a response regarding his refund request once he requests one properlyIf Mr*** Wishes to request a refund it must be done by sending an email to ***, please ask that the registration name be includedPlease also ask that the amount paid to Fun Time and Fun Time only be included and that they give the reason for their requestAt this time it will take approximately business hours for a response from the refund departmentIt is not our job here at Fun Time to make sure a customer checks or responds to their email, unfortunately we cannot control this action nor can we control a customer calling the provided customer service numberIf there is any confusion or the customer wishes assistance they may contact the customer service line or the email customer service for a quick responseSincerely, The Accounting Department

Dear Traveler,We will be more than happy to process your refund requestUnfortunately because we have sent out the vacation vouchers to you the only way that we can offer you a refund is if you have not registered, written on or used those vacation vouchers in any way and can return them back
to us here at the Travel Center in the same condition that we sent them to youIf you can do this, we can offer you a partial refund minus the cancellation fee of $per person which will bring your total refund to $Please keep in mind our refund response is only pertaining to the funds given to the Travel CenterIf funds were given to any other company you would need to contact that company pertaining to those funds.Unfortunately if you have used these vacation vouchers or tarnished them in any way, we cannot provide you with a refund because as it states on the form that you signed and sent to us, in order to receive those vouchers, we do not provide refunds once the vouchers are sent out.Please let us know what you would like to do.Thank you

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: if your company is so innocent of no wrong doing, then why are there so many complaints against your company. You blame *** *** ***, however, you continue to do business with them even though your company's name is the one being listed all the time. I was requesting $1,total back as refund paid to all affiliates ($*** ***, $Travel Center, $***). Not sure where the other amount came from. See attached email, I asked about promotional dates, and got no response. Everytime you call number - it is busy and need to call back or send email. When you send email - you get response to call the number. And, if traveling outside the country is not on the bonus plan, then why is it available on the list of travel. And, let me guess, that is why you have us fill out the forms, even though all the information was supposed to be forwarded to you(see attached). When I spoke with someone on the phone, they said that I had met all requirements for my promotional package. Had to leave on a Tues or Wed, not travel within days of a Holiday and give day advance notice. This is what I was told. As for your terms and conditions, when you clicked on the link to read them it didn't even open. I am not the first nor the only one. And, I will file against *** *** also even though this seems to be all one group of people. I have not received a service, product, discount, nothing - so I should get my money back. And, when you gave me an itinerary - if we would have accepted it - we wouldn't have been able to stay at the hotel as you have to be at least years old. My daughter is and you have that information as I had to fill forms out twice with it. I want my $back from you and $back from your booking department ***. July 11, Dear *** ***,After reading the letter rejection letter it is clear once again *** ***s complaints are with the company that put on the presentationThe Travel Center cannot give quotes to clients since we are not the booking companyThe product that *** ***s received was purchased by the Travel Center as the document stated that was signedWe no longer have the funds that *** ***s paid to the Travel CenterPlease have *** ***s contact the company that gave the presentation to get the refund she is seeking since this is where the problem started and we no longer have those funds to refund.No further correspondence is required from the Travel Center so please close this case and send *** ***s to the first company that mislead her.Sincerely,Donna

***, as to our company terms and conditions and what our company the Travel Center would be supplyingAlso outlining guidelines, restrictions for the bonus vacation *** *** chose*** *** even signed these documents that I will be discussing in my reply to the refund request to your agency.The Travel Center activation document has the Promo Code: FST this was sent to *** *** from *** *** *** after the purchase was made*** *** *** should have enclosed other documents like their terms and conditions and customer service information for their companyThe Travel Center is an independent company we have hundreds of companies nationwide that send their clients to us, to provide a discounted booking company for the product they either purchased, won or were given as a gift, from a raffle or auctionPlease note on the very first document that *** *** sent to the Travel Center along with her activation check# *** in the amount of $not in the amount of $3,she is requesting to be refunded for the purchase priceThe Travel Center does not sell anything so no refund for the purchase will be givenThis document was signed by *** *** on or around February 23, states The Travel Center is only responsible for providing you the proper vacation vouchers, and is not responsible for the sale or advertisement of this productIf you have any questions regarding the purchase of your vacation program please contact the company that you purchased it from.On the second document the Booking Information Needed Form that *** *** faxed to our office on February 25, states “The Travel Center is not responsible for any advertisement of the product you purchased or written and verbal agreements made by the company you purchased it fromIf you have any questions about the package please call that company”This is the second document that clarifies we did not advertise, sell this product and to call the company you purchased fromHere at the Travel Center we only have one department that our customers can speak with and that is the customer service departmentSo the comment in *** ***'s letter stating that she spoke to different departments, she must be once again speaking about *** *** ***The Booking information form also covers the guidelines and restrictions for the vacations we offer such as “Please remember that day advanced notice is required for all of these vacationsThe advanced notice time does not start at time of sale, it starts after you receive your travel documents and codes from the Travel Center and you contact the booking company”*** *** submitted her vacation request dates to the booking company on May 18, and the dates to travel were for August 11, which was under the day advance notice.Also on this same document it states "This promotion is for non-peak season travel”August is peak season travel anywhere“Travel Times and departure dates may be bypassed with the knowledge that this violates your promotional offer and will subject you to a possible surchargeOnce travel documents and booking codes are ordered and purchased by the Travel Center at your request, there cannot be any refunds of any fees collected by the Travel Center"The Travel Center has to purchase the access codes to the online booking companySince the travel industry has changed drastically there are very few if any walk in travel agenciesThe cruise lines, hotels and airlines no longer pay commissions they just offer discounted prices nowSo in response to the refund request from *** *** for the purchase price of $3,the Travel Center did not collect that amount and we did not sell her anythingOur services were rendered to *** *** once the vacation quote was received from the booking companyI once again suggest *** *** send this request to *** *** *** since she has listed two company names in her letter that she purchased fromIt is not the Travel Center's or the booking company responsibility to make a customer's stay within the guidelines or restrictions of what was purchased, given or awardedWe allow customer to upgrade their flights, hotel and cruises all the time to enhance their vacation to meet their needs or for the best vacation of their choice and circumstances*** *** violate the following restrictions
Requested travel dates under the day advanced noticeChoose to travel during peak seasonChose to fly outside of the Continental United States
This voided her bonus vacation package, but the booking company gave *** *** the option to resubmit within the next year to meet the guidelines, restriction for the bonus vacation if she chooses not to book the vacation they quoted“The bonus vacation that you have chosen is separate from the Travel Center and is not a Travel Center ProductThis bonus vacation will be handled by the chosen vacation provider”The Travel Center even has the customer check a box and writes their names in hopes they will take to time to read what they are signing “By checking this box I accept the Travel Center terms and conditionsThere is no contract for goods or services created between the Travel Center and *** ***Any problems or complaints between you and the seller/promotional company regarding other promotions not contained in your promotional brochure must be addressed with the seller/promotional company only, and are not the responsibility of the Travel Center”So even if *** *** *** did in fact neglect to supply *** *** any documentation as stated in her letter I just do not see how our company information made it to *** *** since we do not advertise, and the document had *** *** *** promo code *** on itIt had to have been sent to *** *** from *** *** ***Since our service was rendered, the access codes were purchased, quote received there cannot be any refunds of the fees collected by the Travel Center*** *** has one year to use the access codes that the Travel Center purchased*** *** can call our customer service department to go over the guidelines and restrictions prior to submitting her next vacation quote to the booking company to insure she is staying within the guidelines of the bonus vacations we offer to receive the best discounted vacation, or choose to travel outside the guidelines and still receive discounts the booking company can provideSincerely, The Accounting Department

We first became acquainted with The Travel Center when we were given free certificates for vacation packages by attending a presentation for Destination Depot It turned out that we had to submit $to The Travel Center when we returned the paperwork That necessitated more paperwork to complete, and were then told to submit another $with a repeat of what we had just submittedWe complained, and now they won't do anything about our vacation packages unless we sign a statement that we will not sue them Beware!!

August 11, Dear *** ***,I am taking back my offer for a partial refund since *** *** continues to attack me personally and harass my staffI have enclosed our email correspondence for your records.Also our office received the booking documents back they were written on and the cruise portion is missing from the booking documentsIt is my understanding that our refund department requested via email that the booking documents be returned not registered, written on or used those vacation vouchers must be in the same condition that we sent them to youThis email was sent on June 4, for the partial refund to be issued if such documents were sent back.No further correspondence is required since there will be no refund issued and since this case has already been closed none is required.Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:
You were assisting me with a complaint I had regarding the Travel Center, and the case # you had given us was ***. In order to receive payment, they wanted us to close the case against them. Here it is October 21, and still they have not yet reimbursed us our $138.00.
We NEVER booked anything, so my husband doesn't feel that they should be charging a booking fee of $per person to refund the remainder. And I started the beginning of April trying to get them to help us with travel to get my husband out to Oregon for his stepfather's funeral - which they never responded to, so at that point requested our money backSince this is a "couples" program, I can only imagine how many others have been taken by this company and the ones that rent rooms in hotels to do their part of selling the travel package, and handing out paperwork to be mailed with a check to "The Travel Center" - even though they claimed there was no affiliation. REALLY? How did the presenters come up with the paperwork from them?
I want you to reopen my complaint against them. If I have to contact them DAILY until our money is refunded, I believe that is my right to do so. They are liars and thieves, as are the presenters!

In receiving your complaint from Ms*** I have read over the complaint and
will do my best to address each issue presentedThe first issue seems to be that Ms*** feels she was not previously informed of the “Booking Fee” and that at the time she was informed of this fee she was also told that she would be responsible for a specific amount offees for the resort fees that would be paid at the time of bookingUnfortunately we here at the Travel Center would have no knowledge of this information, the original company that Ms*** is referring to which is *** *** Travel should or would have let her know that she would be responsible for activation fees as well as taxes or additional surcharges for not staying within the promotion in terms of the vacationAt this time that Ms*** had decided to activate she could have contacted our customer service to ask questions if she was confused, not only is the customer service number provided on the original activation email provided, but the customer service email is provided on the busy message if all of our customer service lines are full and she is having trouble getting throughThis email is also provided once her activation confirmation was sent to herThe document that I am referencing is called the “Booking Information Needed” form, this document is sent out by our customer service department from Info*** ***, Mr*** references that she emailed a *** *** * ***, if this is the case this would not be one of our emails and would not get a response from our companyIn the “Booking Information Needed” form it states the following; “The Travel Center is not responsible for any advertisement of the product you purchased or written and verbal agreements made by the company you purchased it fromIf you have any questions about the package please call that companyThe offer is void where prohibited by lawAll vacations and pricing are subject to change without prior notice to confirmed booking“Below that with the signature line it than states: “Any problems or complaints between you and the seller/promotional company regarding other promotions not contained in your promotional brochure must be addressed with the seller/promotional company only, and are not the responsibility of the Travel Center.” This document should have either caused Ms*** to contact our company with questions prior to returning it or to email our customer service email with those questions if she was concerned about the vacation she was to be planningThis should have also covered the second issue that Ms*** brings up in her complaint pertaining to her stating that she feels the vacation was supposed to only cost a certain amountTo address Ms***'s third complaint it seems that she is stating that our customer service has been avoiding her calls and not answering her emails or questionsUnfortunately this seems to just not be the case as we have a multitude of notes on her file showing that she has been spoken to on multiple occasions and given much information pertaining to her vacationDue to her inconvenience the only thing that we can say is that we are sorry Ms*** feels this way, our customer service has done the best it can to assist herIt seems to resolve Ms***'s complaint she wishes a refund, unfortunately the amount of funds that Ms*** is requesting to be returned is not the amount collected by our companyOur company has only collected $in the form of a check on 3/25/that Ms*** sent to our company This means that she would need to contact the other companies that she paid those fees to in order to request refund from those companiesUnfortunately however we cannot provide Ms*** a refund because our services have been renderedThe funds that Ms*** sent to our company for activation on 3/25/would have been used to purchase the codes and information that was sent to Ms*** on 4/10/at her request by returning the “Booking Information Needed” form to our companyThis form was returned on 4/8/2015, on this form it states the refund policy to Ms***This information has been highlighted on the copy enclosed for your convenience and it states the following; “Any changes or cancellations made later may result in a small administrative change feeOnce travel documents and booking codes are ordered and purchased by the Travel Center at your request, there cannot be any refunds of any fees collected by the Travel Center.”
The documents referenced in the quoted information were sent to Ms*** on 4/10/via email and were redeemed by Ms*** on 4/17/At this time due to all of the information included in our response we feel a refund should not be issuedIf Ms*** has any further questions she may contact the customer service department at ###-###-#### or at ***The customer service department will be more than happy to assist Ms*** with information on contacting the other companies that she has paid in reference to her wanting a refund from themSincerely,

these businessesI am the comptroller for both companies as I am for various other companies in this area*** *** *** I believe is located somewhere in Albuquerque, NM and I am not there accountant.As of today's date I do not show a *** *** in either the Travel Center or *** *** *** accounting systemsIs it possible that the payment was sent in by another person or under a different last name then Webster? The accounting program I operate does not search by addresses so without the name of the person that made the payment to the Travel Center is under I have no way of researching his claimWith that said, If *** *** would like a refund the request must be submitted by person to whom paid the Travel CenterThe refund request should be sent via email to ***@***.com*** *** must have spoken to *** *** *** for the refund request because here at the Travel Center our customer service representatives would have given our refund email address, and time does not run out on refund requests here at the Travel CenterAlso the Travel Center does not sell, promote or advertise our company to the general publicIf *** *** has questions about what was purchased, and the quote that was given to him from *** *** *** that is the company that those issues need to be addressed toThe Travel Center cannot and will not give vacation quotes since the Travel Center is not the booking company*** *** *** should have explained the booking process better to *** ***There are fees, restrictions and guidelines involved in the bonus vacation *** *** purchased from *** *** ***There are restrictions as to non-peak season travel and days that the flights depart on also from where the cruise ships leave from and destinationsEvery traveler is responsible for government taxes, Hotel & Airline taxes, processing fees and cruise taxes also any surcharges from this is just to mention a few fees that will need to be paid by any travelerThe Travel Center has no knowledge of what was purchased or how much was paid to any other company, nor do we have access to any such documents or communications with that said company or even the product was purchasedI am truly sorry that *** *** *** did not explain the product or the booking process better to *** ***Please have the person to whom paid the Travel Center submits the request to our refund department and it will be processedSince no services were provided to *** *** per his letter to your agency.Sincerely,

clear that Ms*** has our company confused with the very first company that Ms*** contacted and payment was made toIn the correspondence to our company it seems that the very first company that the $payment must have been made to promised Ms*** things they did not provide and did not give full disclosure to Ms*** about the booking process of what was purchasedThe very first company must have given Ms*** incorrect information because the documents that Ms*** signed and sent to our office clearly state the facts to the process our company has and will provideI have enclosed copies of such documents for your recordsThese documents also cover our refund policyThese documents Ms*** signed should have made Ms*** aware of our procedures those documents instruct clients to contact the first company with any concernsHere at the Travel Center we do not sell anything and we do not advertise or promote our company to the general publicMs*** was sent to our company from another companyWe are just the company that provides discount online booking company access codes to their booking sitesThis is also covered on the documents I have enclosed that were signed by Ms***Ms*** did in fact start the refund process with the Travel Center but will not accept the fact that the money that is being requested was not paid to the Travel CenterThe Travel Center cannot and will not refund funds that were not collected by our companyMs*** only paid the Travel Center $This is the amount that needs to be requested no the $that Ms*** is seekingDepending on what access codes have been provided to Ms*** will decide the amount of the refund that can be processed for Ms***Since the Travel Center has to purchase the access codes from the booking company a full refund cannot be provided if the booking process has been startedThis is also covered on the signed document enclosedIf Ms*** would just email our refund department the correct amount that was paid to the Travel Center the refund process can start againI will release the refund department to correspond with Ms***It is our company policy that once legal action is threatened for any reason to any organization that the refund department is to stop all correspondence until all matters are cleared up and closedSincerely,
