I have never received my product.
6-7 years in... paid good money for a product that never arrived. So sad to hear of so many similar stories. I wanted to purchase some units during their crowdfunding stage, and I was impressed by the idea and the videos they had of the working model so after some deliberation, I made a transaction on my credit card.

Received a notification email. That was about it for 4-5 years. Since I was living abroad, I sort of lost track of the development of the product so I decided to try and find out the latest news. That's when I discovered the ocean of complaints of fraud and misinformation

These people are dishonest, shameful and are not to be trusted with any new ventures. Seymour Segnit is a scammer.

The customer was repeatedly asked to complete his shipping information, via emails on: [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] **Records show that each of these emails was opened and that the link provided to complete the order was clicked, but the customer chose not to do so.He was refunded on 8/**: [redacted] *** [redacted] *** Under the circumstances we respectfully have no idea what the basis of his complaint can be

We are very sorry that this person did not receive our response to their December [redacted] emailWe did reply at that time and we cannot be certain why that response did not reach themOcassionally emails to our supporters do get caught in spam filters and we are very frustrated when this occursAt this time we are creating a process to continue to follow up with our supporters when we do not hear back from them after we respond their questions to ensure that they have received our response and that they are satisfied with the outcomeWe hope that it will help to prevent problems like this one in the futureAgain, we are very sorry that they did not receive that December response.We are continuing to follow up with this individual and have provided them with tracking information for their package via emailAt this time [redacted] is estimating that their package will be delivered to them on Monday, February ***We will be following up with them again on Tuesday February [redacted] via telephone to ensure that their thingCHARGERs are just perfect

When this individual contacted us on January ***, we returned their email the same dayThey verified their shipping information the next day and their package was shipped immediatelyWe normally expect that supporters that contributed to our campaign early were fully aware of our crowdfunding status, but occassionally they are notWith crowdfunding, many people contribute a small amount of money toward a great ideaThe inventors take that money and turn it into a fantastic product, which we can then ship to the amazing people who supported usWe are so excited to be a successful crowdfunding campaign that is shipping as quickly as we can to our earliest supportersWe are shipping in the order in which we received contributions to honor our earliest supporters for the patience and their incredible support.It looks like this individuals package was delivered on January ***We hope they are truly enjoying cordless charging, but if they have any further concerns, we encourage them to contact us at [redacted]

BUYER BEWARE - my new motto after this experienceI placed an order for Thingcharger in September I saw that they were crowd funding but was under the impression that they were already making and shipping them It was not clear nor did I know that it would be months for me to receive them It was only after several weeks of not hearing anything that I found out they actually weren't shipping yet It took over five months to get my order When I received it, there were shipping costs that had not been clearly identified when I ordered - I paid almost as much for shipping as for the devices and was not happy - I would never have ordered if I'd knownNonetheless I was happy to get them Only after opening them did I find they only came with a micro USB tip, and not the [redacted] device tip - even though all photos of the device included two tips I tried to contact customer service They told me that when I ordered the deal was different than it is now I tried to get clear info about a promised 'free adapter tip' (for registering the device) that was in each box - and kept getting a reply that held no clear information - it talked about an upcoming campaign I finally had to bluntly ask for an answer to my question - which they did finally answer by saying I would be getting nothing freeI decided to go ahead and order four Apple tips, since the devices are useless to me without them Before ordering I sent one more email to customer service to ask about the free tip offer (if they were sending me free tips for registering, I wouldn't spend the money) I got the most ridiculous reply from Catherine saying she's thrilled that I'm happy with the device (I am not - I can't even use it) - then saying she's got some exciting promotion coming up but can't tell me moreI replied expressing frustration that she did not answer my question, and got the exact same (copy/pasted) reply from Angela - it is truly the most abysmal customer service I have ever seen everI did order the tips I need - and of course am paying through the nose for them plus shipping - but otherwise I have boxes of expensive junk sitting around my house - truly disappointing! (PS I would be returning them, but understand there's a $re-stocking fee per device - I will not be giving them any more of my money - and will be telling my friends and family to steer clear.)

When the individual first contacted us with his original questions we responded to him within minutes and continued to work with him to resolve the issueWe always feel bad when people end up in our campaign without realizing our crowdfunding status, and we always work with them to provide the best possible outcomeIn this case the individual wanted a refund and we processed one right away.At the time of the advertisement he mentioned, thingCHARGER was still in the crowdfunding phaseOur website, the video, and our FAQ’s all explained thisWe have information about this on the website in the form of the promotional video that auto plays at the top of the webpage and in the FAQ's as well as in our terms and conditionsWe also explain this during the payment process with a statement that says: Contribute now to our pre-launch campaign and receive thingCHARGER(s) as an awesome thank-you perk from us when we ship

I spoke with the customer this morning.Evidently the confirmation email had gotten caught up somewhere in spam or somethingWe shipped her package today via [redacted] and delivery is expected Thursday or Friday of this week in Mandeville, LA.Thank you both to her and to the Revdex.com for helping us clear this up immediately

We have answered this individual each time that they emailed usWe did notice that they seem to have some difficulty receiving our emails as they mentioned that they located at least one of our messages in their spam filter We are sorry that they have experienced frustration and have been attempting to resolve this with them.When they first contacted us in June, we explained our crowdfunding status and that we had not yet reached the shipping phase of the processWith crowdfunding, an inventor takes a good idea to the internetThere, many people contribute a small amount of money towards making that idea into a realityThe inventor then takes that money and uses it to create, manufacture, and ship the productWhen the product is ready, it is then shipped out to all the people who supported its creation, as a thank-you gift.Because of that process, there is usually a lag between when contributions are received and when perk packages are shippedThis can feel frustrating, but it is a part of crowdfundingWe began shipping at the end of September and have shipped to almost all of our and contributorsWe are now shipping to our earliest supporters.However, when this individual contacted us this week asking for a refund, we apologized for the wait and offered them the choice between shipping and a refundSince they did not confirm their shipping information, we were moving forward with a refund prior to our receipt of this complaint.We have emailed the individual to let them know that we have begun their refund and to allow 2-business days for that to process.We would like to assure this individual that thingCHARGERs are shipping to our supporters and that we are not a scamWe are sorry that the natural delay between contribution and shipping made them worryWe hope to have them back as a customer soon

This company advertised their charging device on Facebook and seemed legitimate I ordered one in December-- never received it even though they charged $to my credit card They are just now emailing to thank me for my "donation" to help start up their company!! That is not what their website said at all! And now in order to get my "gift" (the charger) from them they are asking me to put an additional $on my credit card and they will ship it! These people are scamming buyers and don't deliver on what they promised
