campaigns, there is a gap between when you pay for your items and when you receive themThe “crowd” helps “fund” this staand gets Special Deals in return as a thank you from our new companyWe have a wonderful supporter baseThe individual contributed to our campaign on the *** of November On the *** of December an email to double check their perk package contained all of the tips they needed and re-confirm their shipping address was sentUltimately the individual requested a refundWe processed a refund in the form of a credit to the cardAt this time all funds have been returned to the individual

We are so sorry for the misunderstanding*** and *** *** are a singluar corporate entityWhen we allowed a market test with Sam's Club, they were permitted place those items in either *** or Sam's ClubWhile the stores have different names, they are not separateWe were unaware that this individual was not aware of this and thought that we had adequately answered their concerns regarding *** when we explained the market test for Sam's ClubWe are sorry that this was unclear.While we attempted to ship to all of our supporters prior to Christmas, and early in the fall anticipated being able to do so, we truly were faced with insuffient production and delays in shippingAs a small, new company we do not have the same resources to motivate our suppliers that a large multinational might haveWe have worked incredibly hard to smooth out that process and add to our production and available units, but were unable to ship to everyone prior to the holidayWe are sorry that this individual did not receive this information, though it was avialable in our weekly updates leading up to the holiday.We are a young company and we are continuing to improve our tracking for contributors who are frustrated or impatient with the crowdfunding process to try to offer them more information and supportSometimes there are processes that we are just beginning to start up and in this case, we were not aware until after the holiday that this individual was both frustrated and not following our progress on the weekly hangoutsWe are sorry and we continue to work to improve this.We are also sorry that this individual was not fully aware of what tips were included in their perk package when they initially contributedWhile the tips that are included with the package are clearly listed on the website where they contributed, we are sorry that it was not transparent enoughLike most companies, we do not spend a great deal of time telling our supporters what they are NOT receiving and instead simply list what IS included in their package We were very happy to offer this individual the opportunity to get the additional tip that they required, but are truly sorry that they were frustrated.This individual has received their perk package and we continue to hope to fully address their concernsWe would sincerely like to know what we can do at this time to resolve the questions that are upsetting them and reach a satisfactory resolution to their complaint

We are terribly sorry for the upset this individual experiencedWe have reached out to this individual to offer them an immediate refund. Unfortunately this individual did not contact us with their concerns about the final checkout processWe would have been happy to help with
the process and to comp the $difference between the shipping credit that was donated at initial contribution and the actual cost of shipping the packageWe are terribly sorry that we were unaware of the issue and so were unable to correct itWe would have been happy to do so.At this time we have initiated the process for a full refund as that is what this individual would prefer

In crowdfunding, an inventor comes up with a cool ideaThey take that idea to the internetThere, many people each contribute a small amount of money towards turning that idea into a realityThe inventor takes that money and uses it to create and manufacture the product Then they ship it back out to all the people who supported them. Seymour and Amy started thingCHARGER back in as an idea in their basement and we started started shipping at the end of This process, and the time that it takes, are part of why there has been a delay in shipping your items and why the final checkout process feels so different. We finished shipping to our and contributors at the end of January and are working our way through our supporters nowWe are trying hard to ship to our contributors in the order that they supported us, in honor of their patience. When this person emailed us, it was clear that they were expecting a much earlier delivery, and we attempted to meet their expectations by sending them a link to confirm their shipping information.That final checkout looks so different because it was designed for our earliest supportersIt is a place that allows them to add on some of the upgrades and types of tips that we developed, at their suggestion, during the two years that we have been working on making this idea into a realityAdditionally, during that development time period, many people have moved, so we ask our supporters to confirm their current shipping information.We are sincerely sorry that none of this was explained clearlyWe will continue to work with our team to improve communication with our supporters and make sure that they are explaining the process, and why it looks so different, in cases like thisAnd as we begin to catch up to shipping to our newest supporters we will be looking into better ways to allow them to confirm their shipping information when needed.We are not sure at this time why our earlier email of their tracking information was not recieved, ocassionally this occurs when an email ends up in a spam folderWe have re-sent the tracking information to this individual and *** estimates that their package will be delivered on February ***. As a small crowdfunded start up we do yet have a full-time telephone support system, we do offer strong email support and a voicemail line where we try to return calls as quickly as possibleLike many companies, we experienced incredibly heavy traffic during the holidays and were not able to respond as quickly as we would have likedWe are very sorry.We ask that our contributors contact us via email (***) and make every effort to support their needs.
