Emailed back "All seating is guaranteed to be consecutive and filled according to the section and row range that you requested." 3/24/11:AM: Customer emailed in "Can you answer my question about what will happen if, for some reason, three consecutive seats in the section we paid for are not available?" Dear Revdex.com, Thank you for mediating this matterWe take financial matters like these very seriously [redacted] attempted to purchase some tickets on 1/for an event on 1/When the order was received, only a preauthorization was attempted and there was an error where the order didn’t get chargedIn this case, our process is to attempt another preauthorization in case the system had an errorWhen that came up as declined, we contacted the customer and had her verify that all of her billing information was correctWhen she assured us that it was 100% correct, we attempted a third preauthorizationWhen that didn’t go through we did reject the order, as we were not able to be paid for the order Preauthorizations can take 3-business days to fade off of an accountThis is completely out of our company’s handsThat is up to the financial institution of the cardThrough the many conversations that we have had with [redacted] she did mention that her card is a pre-paid card, which are notorious for having issues releasing preauthorizationsAgain, this is not due in any part to anything that our company does, it’s simply the processes of the card It’s very important for us to make it clear that we would never want to take a customer’s money and not provide a customer’s ticketsSimilarly, we would not provide someone tickets without being paid for the merchandise While we regret that we weren’t able to furnish [redacted] with tickets, we also did not actually withdraw money from her account Thank you again for taking the time to look into this matter, Doug

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: the full price was exaggerated and over the resale/current value of ticketsWrong tickets were sent and company is a client service driven business with poor client serviceThis should not be this difficult to realise the company was wrong in their part of this transactionA patron gets directed to this website to buy tickets and is upcharged and made to pay a fee for service that was more than the ticketsTicket Galaxy is doing wrong by their clientsIf you read ANY of their reviews online you see this is a regular occurrenceThey cheat people that are just trying to get a fair price Thank you! Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: First, please get my name correct as misspelling it many times is somewhat insulting Second, when I called, the rep told me that they are the same company as the main website, and they both operate as one Third, the language you copied is buried in the midst of volumes of webpages You still really need to make it clearer How about a large font description on your webpage that states you are NOT part of the venue or authorized sellers and are in face resellers The reason you put this all sales final language on that page is you are counting on people (such as myself) who fall prey to these tactics and refuse reasonable requests to get a refund There is no reason you cannot offer the refund I wish I had searched your main websote online as it would have led me to your other company Both have many negative comments on this same problematic predatory selling behavior I guess there will be just another one out there warning people with a possible search engine link that rates right below your company name to provide a warning to other victims Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I visited [redacted] with the intention of purchasing tickets directly from the venue My intention was to purchase tickets from the venue and pay the ticket price Without notice, I was surreptitiously re-routed to ticket galaxy's website I have never heard of [redacted] I was misled into believing that I was purchasing tickets directly from [redacted] (the venue) I completed the ticket purchase of $110.00/ticket, $delivery fee and $for a "MiscExpense" I paid this because I thought THIS WAS WHAT WAS REQUIRED BY THE VENUE!!!! I subsequently learned that ticket galaxy is not associated with the [redacted] and was charged more than 2x the face value of the ticket!!! Ticket Galaxy's practice and conduct in a clear violation of New Jersey's Consumer Fraud Act (NJCFA) in several respects and is intentionally misleading to the public I was defrauded and mislead into believing I was purchasing tickets from the [redacted] Instead, the company sold me tickets at 2x the face value of the ticket and charged me nearly $in fees I filed the complaint and write this rebuttal so that I can get a refund and so that there is a record of the fraudulent and misleading conduct of Ticket Galaxy or [redacted] Sincerely, Nicole Butz

Revdex.com, Again, this complaint is identical to the complaint [redacted] has already filed (complaint # [redacted] ) which has been responded to and appropriately closedHowever, in an effort to resolve this matter we will provide the same response to [redacted] here as well The tickets [redacted] received are 100% valid and legitimate ticketsAs was already explained to her the paper that the tickets were printed on is a copy-protected paperIn the background the word "void" is visible in a slightly obscured greyish toneIf [redacted] was to attempt to copy that ticket the copy would not be readable as the light greyish voids will appear black on the copy therefore obscuring the entire piece of paperIf s [redacted] still has doubts on this type of paper, here is a link with more information: [redacted] When [redacted] stated in her other complaint that the tickets were not valid we stated that she would be required to provide proof from the venue that this was the caseSince the event date has come and gone as of today’s date and [redacted] has failed to provide any proof or to contact our customer service department at any time, we are not able to investigate that matter at allHowever, in her previous complaint she stated that the venue would not accept the tickets, and also raised concerns about the obscured word void on the ticketThe event had not happened as of that date and she had already made claims that the tickets were invalidShe then filed this complaint with same claims based on the type of paper that the tickets were printed onIf there were any issues with the tickets when she used them to enter the event, we would need documentation or proof from the venue that this was the caseWithout any proof from the venue that there was an issue with the ticket we are not able to research this issue further Also, the terms and policies that [redacted] agreed to when completing her purchase state: Ticket AvailabilitySITE cannot guarantee ticket availability until USER is in possession of USER'S ticketsGenerally, all ticket listings on SITE are a unique set of tickets from an individual TICKET SELLERSome ticket listings on SITE may only be representations of available tickets and not actual seat locations or currently available tickets Occasionally tickets ordered may no longer be available at the price or in the quantity originally ordered at the time the order is receivedIf equivalent or better seat locations are available at the same price, TICKET SELLER will fill the order with the alternative seat locationsIf no alternates are available, either USER'S credit card will not be charged at all or the entire amount charged will be refunded, and USER will be notified that the ticket request has been rejected [redacted] willingly agreed to this policy and therefore although her tickets in section row Q could not be fulfilled [redacted] received tickets in section row Q which is the mirror image section of the venue [redacted] order was fulfilled in accordance with the policies she agreed to, and the tickets that were provided are valid and legitimate tickets no refund will be providedWe hope this fully explains the matter

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The business could not possibly have had the tickets to sell because none had gone on sale to the public on the day I ordered from them They priced gouged not only the tickets but the service charges in my opinion I was able to get tickets DIRECTLY from the vendor for much less The difference between the two costs is $ and that is MORE than the vendor charged for the tickets and service charges! Revdex.com, Thank you for bringing this matter to our attentionWe take customer service seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond to Ms McBride's concerns According to our customer service records MsMcBride has already been completely refunded in full in the interest of customer service When MsMcBride did place her order for tickets she did so through LocalTicket.com which does have numerous disclaimers that the tickets she was purchasing may be above face value and that she was purchasing on a secondary market, or resale websiteMsMcBride was also provided with an itemized list of her purchase which indicated the price per ticket on her order, the service fee per ticket, along with the delivery fee Since MsMcBride has already been provided with a refund we assume that this matter is resolved

Revdex.com, Thank you for bringing this matter to our attentionWe take customer service very seriously and would like to take the time to address MrPrestgard's concerns When MrPrestgard placed his order from his computer at the website, www.BoxOfficeTicketSales.com, he was obliged to review his order and accept that website's terms and conditions before his order was completeThese terms and conditions clearly state: General BoxOfficeTicketSales.com ("SITE") acts as an intermediary between buyers and ticket sellers ("TICKET SELLERS") to facilitate the purchase and sale of event tickets, and as such is not directly involved in the actual ticket sale transaction between the buyers and TICKET SELLERSAll sales are finalAs tickets sold through SITE are often obtained through the secondary market and prices are determined by the individual TICKET SELLER, the prices for tickets may be above or below face valueTickets sold through SITE are from a third party; therefore, the buyer's name will not be printed on the ticketsPlease note that the name on the tickets does not affect the buyer's ability to access the event The website terms and conditions were available to MrPrestgard as a scroll box during the checkout process and as a link on each page of the siteIf MrPrestgard did not click on the "yes" button on the checkout page that states "I agree to the Terms & Conditions," the software would have removed him from the checkout page and he would not have been able to go on to complete his orderAlso, the total price, including service fees and delivery charges, was given to him before he gave his credit card information and completed his orderMrPrestgard chose to comply with the price and the terms before sending his final order for processing At no time before placing his order did MrPrestgard contact our Customer Service Department with any questions or for any clarification of the pricing and terms and conditionsIf he was unsure about the order he was placing, he was free to call the Customer Service Department at the readily available number or to comparison shop at other sites before finalizing his order MrPrestgard was educated to the fact that tickets are in many cases sold above face value and that www.BoxOfficeTicketSales.com is neither a primary sale box office nor the venueMrPrestgard's freely-chosen acceptance of the price and the terms and conditions indicates that he did make a conscious and educated decision to purchase tickets at the price he agreed to There is no refund due
