APRIL 2018.....Sales agent quoted me a contract price ($4700)..Movers show up and demand $10,000...Haggle to 8000...demand $tip on credit card bill under duress, to continue...upon complainingthose laborers were not reliable and no longer work for company....too badcouldn't talk to sales agent about pricehe no longer works for the companytoo bad....Goods in storage till June..upon delivery.....unmarked boxes, missing boxes...damaged goods....Great difficulty contacting Traditional Expressno answered or returned calls difficulty getting claim formsCompany agent tells me he found some of the lost stuff and will send it outI held off on the claim till found stuff arrives never doesdifficulty making contact again....Now this agent no longer works for the company and new person will look into itstill nothingmade a claim to stop credit card payment in interim but the whole thing is still dragging out and it's very difficult to cont

We are making efforts to rectify this situationIn our paperwork we are required to bring an wheeler to the destinationIf a wheeler can not fit within a reasonable distance of the delivery thenwe are required to find a rental truck to move the items from one truck to another followed by
finding a parking space that is suitable for an wheeler with out putting other clients items at risk of theftIn any case the client is suggesting that many wheelers are capable of enteringI do not think this is at all verifiable at this pointPlease note that in any case our drivers on long distance trips are on schedules to make all deliveries in a timely fashion, having to utilize a shuttle to facilitate a delivery only adds many hours to the day of the driver as well as labor that the driver often wants to limitOur drivers do not want to ever want to be subjects to shuttle services because of the reasons stated aboveIt is a hard labor service job for these drivers and they rarely want to take part in this but they understand that when it calls for action that they must finish the job to the best of their abilityIn terms of the damages to the items, we have a claims department that works with our clients when damaged items are deliveredEssentially we must follow through with the claims department procedures which are in place for said reasonAny complications that you wanted to directly discuss with us, contact the office directly and we will speak with you on this matter. I, my wife and my two children move to *** *** from *** on 3/8/I contacted This moving company and signed the contract in ** and they came to our place in ** picked up my boxes and two big luggages on 3/4/2018, the pick up man told that my boxes will be arrived to my new place in SC in two weeks but it didn’t arriveFinally it arrived on 4/22/After loading my boxes from the truck I told driver there was missing my big blue luggage and he told me to call officeI called *** *** ***, she me transferred me to dispatch man Juan 818-397-and he told me that he will check for me, I called him next day and he told me that he could not get in touch with driver , every time I called him and he told me the sameAfter we completed take all things out from boxes, my wife discovered her eye lashes tools kit big bag was missing which was in another box we brought it from Viet Nam to ** the end of 02/before movingI texted him regarding anot

Really painful with work with this companyThey committed for shipment delivery from Boston to Dallas in less than daysit has been almost weeks, now they are saying , they can deliver next week
I moved to Dallas under the expectation of 5th July shipment deliveryi had to invest USD to buy basic household items just due to delay of TRADITIONAL VAN LINES shipment delay.horrible to work with these folks

WE ORIGINALLY SENT A CHECK FOR $WHICH BOUNCED DUE TO AN OVERSIGHT BY OUR SECRETARY. WE TOLD THE CUSTOMER TO RE-DEPOSIT THE CHECK , BUT HE DID NOT FOLLOW THOSE INSTRUCTIONS WE WILL BE SENDING OUT A NEW CHECK FOR THE AMOUNT TO COVER THE CHECK PLUS THE $BOUNCED FEE PLUS ANOTHER
ADDITIONAL $AS A SIGN OF GOOD FAITH TO THE CUSTOMER. WE ARE SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE TO THE CUSTOMER & WILL COMPENSATE HIM AN ADDITIONAL $FOR A GRAND TOTAL OF $FOR THIS ERROR. WE HANDLE SO MANY TRANSACTIONS HERE FOR CUSTOMERS, & RARELY DO WE HAVE ANY PROBLEMS. On Sept.10,I began searching for a reputable moving company to relocate myself & my year old daughter to Alabama after my mom passed awayAfter being solicited after numerous google searches & phone contacts from numerous companies bidding at lower prices I selected "Traditional Van lines express after speaking to whom I was lead to believe was a manager by the name of BLAKE,After expressing my concerns of finding a company that my personal belongings would arrive safely & be packed in proper boxes & secured so I wouldn't have to worry I at the time felt somewhat comfortable booking my move date with "Traditional express van lines express..BLAKE then proceeded to explain my contract & said I would receive accommodations of plus boxes to pack any items left after my initial pre packing of my own items bfre pick up date.I then explained that I would need mirrors & a bed a firidge & a couch & two dressers & a wardrobe closet & two flat

Traditional helped move my folks recentlyIt was very tough choice to find a mover but thanks to social media I was able to narrow down my selection to companiesI chose them based on two factors
1.The price was within a reasonable amount that I was willing to pay
2.Very polite and professional staff
The movers were great and carefulMy family was happy with everything so am IA+ for quality and service

Many of my colleagues had used them and I gave them a tryFast, efficient, responsible and honest group of people, can't ask for more from your moversI have used other company's and no other have given me this satisfactionsI moved out from a one bed room apartment to a house and they did it in less than hrs with a mile drive in between

We used this company to moveThey are holding our stuff and asking for more money to deliver it to us then what was originally contractedThey tell us something different every time we talk to themThe originally were supposed to deliver our items on the 21st and it is now the 23rd and we still have no idea when our items will arriveIf ever

This company breached the contract by refusing to move all items on my inventory sheet from NY to Texas After they loaded items on the truck driver demanded an additional Twelve hundred dollars which was fifty percent of the contract price now ai have to hire another mover to complete the moveBased on other customer reviews this company low *** the price as a fraudulent means to induce customers to hire them and once they start the job they extort more money if you want the job completedClassic bait and switch tacticsThey arrived in Texas three hours late and driver demanded additional money to unload the truck figuring he will hold my items hostage Company sent insufficient number of men to unload truck unloaded items in the darkItems were damaged or missing parts and some are vintage where parts are not readily availableWhen I requested property damage forms to file a property damage claim they didn't respond

Traditional express offered me a very good price for the moveI was hesitant to hire them as the cost was a bit lower than most reputable moversI felt safe however because my friend moved with them last year
All in all I would recommend them just be sure to give them a detailed inventory or send them photos, it appears that most companies under estimated my move but Traditional did an onsite survey and showed me that the size is greaterEven with the greater size the price was still lower than the next best thing
the company was careful and responsible, they treated my valuables with a lot of attentionI appreciated the drivers careful work and when all was completed I noticed they even picked up all their trash after them selvesThe crew worked thoroughly for their tip!
Hire them if you need to move across the country, I moved from Texas to BrooklynIf I ever need to move I will for sure hire them

The company does not abide by their contractThey are scammers and they do not provide the customer with customer serviceMy things were picked yo on 6/30/from NYPrior to that I made my deposit and that day I paid half of the remaining balanceI was given papers to sign and it reflected my remaining balance of I was told my stuff would be delivered on Augor beforeI was told someone would contact me days beforeThat wasn't the case I Had to call several timesI was given three rescheduled datesI was bribed to pay twice the price I was quoted for my moving expenses on the day of delivery which was days pass the date I was givenI received a text from an anonymous guy on aug 6, asking if he could walk to my houseHe said I had to pay so he could deliver my thingsHe stated the moving truck could fit in my apt complex and that unneeded to pay extra for a shuttlePrior to the move I was told my price wouldn't change and I didn't require any oth
