BEFORE YOU BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY READ MY REVIEWTraditional Express Vanlines changed their name a few days ago to *** *** to evade the update of my reviewI am going to do my best to shorten this review, but I can't promise anythingSo let's get to it! I initially contacted Traditional early this year about a move from *** to *** I called them to get a quote and I spoke to SamHe was very nice the first call and then the second call he began pressuring me to pay so I decided to do research the companyWhat I found was shockingAll the raving reviews were fake! YES, THE REVIEWS WERE FAKE! What I noticed was that the same people (numerous people) had given raving reviews to other trucking companies in the same week(Please see the screenshot of my initial review)After posting my review the company tries contacting Yelp stating that they had never spoken to me before and requesting that Yelp remove my reviewSo I had to prove to Yelp that I had, by sending the quote(Yup, I still had it in my emailThank you Google.) After they were unsuccessful in having it removed I get an email on 2/4/from Mitch asking for me to call himMitch tells me that he is the owner, he fired Sam and he would like to make things rightHe begged and promised me that he would give me a better quote than before and he would apply a discountI told him I had already booked with another company and he asked me to cancelSounding so convincing, I canceled and received my down payment backHe also asked me to take down my review until my actual move and swore to me in a bragging way that Sam made them look bad and they were this awesome moving companySo I changed my review stating that we were working to resolve the previous issue and that I will update after my moveMitch asked me to give him a list of my items but to make sure we had no mistakes on the price, per his request, I sent him a list and picturesHe then gave me a quoteI was happyMarch came and I contacted Mitch via text and told him that I decided to sell some items including the couches but we had more boxes(Please see pictures attached) He said, "oh well let me adjust the quote"He didFast forward to moving day April 28, 2018, I had to call him because I had not heard from anyoneHe apologized and said they should have called me the day beforeThe movers finally showed up and after they get everything on the truck, the mover says "Mitch did not put the right size items on the list" and that I would be charged more because "the items were bigger than notated on his list" He also said that we had more boxes than Mitch told himHe then added $to the quoted priceStating that we had cubic feet versus cubic feetAmazing! May 5, 2018, We also booked with them to have my car picked upYeah, you guessed it, no call no show(please see screenshots of conversation.) So I had to, at the last minute, find another company to bring the car to Cali I had been texting and calling Mitch for days and days no responseMay 16, 2018, I was contacted by the driver and told me he will be at the storage in minutes and if I was late getting there it will be additional $I then told him to stop yelling, that I was one block away and I will be thereI get to the storage and he tells me that he doesnt think he can pull in the storage because there is a dip on the entrance and that he was leaving with my belongings and you guessed itI would have to pay more money to get it Long story short I had to call the policeHe then changed his mind and said he was going to try to pull up over the dipI said okI then followed the manager down the aisle to my unitAfter mins we realized the driver wasn't coming, so we both went to the front entrance and the drivers truck was stuck on the curbThe police arrived and spoke to both of usThe driver tried to get the officer to agree that I should then pay $for a tow truckThe officer informed the driver this would be a civil matterAfter the tow truck moved the truck out the driveway the driver then tried to tell me I had to pay more money for waiting time because his truck was stuck I begged and pleaded with the driver to give me belongingsHe refusedThe officer then informed him that he is supposed to be a professional driver so it was his responsibility to make the decision on how to drive his truckHe still refused saying I need to give him more moneyI called Mitch several times he would not answerI called the company and Bill answered and said that Louis will be calling the driver to work this outFinally, Mitch text me accusing me of making his driver pull into a space that he knew he couldn'tTo sum this upThey put my items on the street and I had to get a Uhaul and move everything to my storageThen I get a text from Mitch asking for more money(See screenshots/pictures of conversation on Yelp.) Oh I had broken items as well and missing items

The only reason I selected one star is that there is no selection for negative starDO NOT BOOK WITH THIS MICKEY MOUSE OPERATIONI worked three months in advance for a cross country moveOn the day of the move the "supervisor" showed up and stated he needed four thousand dollars (50% above the original price) above the contract price to complete the move, essentially a hold up as I had to be out of the house the next dayLacking any choices I paid the additional however I told the "supervisor" this would not standSummarized, after numerous "hot" conversations with these people, I left them with a choice, return my money or get suedAfter I requested the full name of the individual, his boss and to confirm corporate mailing address to send suit papers, LIKE A MICKEY MOUSE CARTOON my money magically was returned to me after these dullards figured out this was a real world situationTheir email note was it was a "clerical" errorBe advised these people are crooks, the people they use to assist in loading are questionable craig's list hires, the positive reviews are clearly fake newsMy dear people you have ben warned!

***, we have thoroughly examined your complaintsThis is a tremendous move with tremendous problemsPlease call the office directly###-###-####

I had to call the police on the movers because of a money dispute and a furniture mixupAs soon as I paid my deposit and 50% of the total cost, everyone at the company seemed to disappearDespite claiming that all sales reps worked in the industry for 10+ years, they grossly underestimated (originally $1500, cost $2700)The movers were sketchy (removing drawers from dressers to add more space) and their "customer service rep" Tina had an attitude and did absolutely nothingBlake, the sales rep, told me to f* off and his boss Mitch wasn't any betterIf you want more stress in your life, use this terrible company

Really painful with work with this companyThey committed for shipment delivery from Boston to Dallas in less than daysit has been almost weeks, now they are saying , they can deliver next week
I moved to Dallas under the expectation of 5th July shipment deliveryi had to invest USD to buy basic household items just due to delay of TRADITIONAL VAN LINES shipment delay.horrible to work with these folks

I am having a very poor experience with Traditional ExpressFirst, while selling me on thier services, the sales rep told me I could pay for the deposit, the payment due at pickup, and the final payment all with a credit card on fileI had a confusing conversation with the driver who picked up my boxes and he told me that wouldn't be the case and "maybe you heard incorrectly"I wasn't able to reach anyone that weekend and spent the next week trying to get in touch with my rep to clarifyWhen I final got him on the phone (begrudgingly), he told me again that final payment by credit card was fine but had 3-4% service chargeThen he gave me another number to call for any future questions - it was clear he had earned his commission off me and didn't care do deal with my file any more
I then contacted the customer service rep he told me to speak withThe service rep eventually (after several emails trying to clarify) told me that no, I couldn't use the credit card method for the final payment unless I had "pre-approval prior to pick up" and she did not see that approval in the notes
Then there is the issue of scheduling the deliveryI was told originally during the sales pitch the delivery would happen sometime between August 8-Then after being directed to the service rep I was told August 13-14thWhen I reached out on the 12th to confirm I was told the delivery was now scheduled for the 17thWhen no one showed up or called on the 17th, I reached out and was told it was coming on the afternoon of August 18th
Today is the 18th, my second day of setting aside other responsibilities to wait for delivery, and the movers haven't shown up or calledI can't get ahold of the service repAll in all I have found the communication extremely lacking and feel I'm being lied toI didn't mind waiting a little while for a delivery, but I was given specific, incorrect information as a sales tactic and had the delivery window changed times

I read this response from the moving company." Company has made numerous attempts to contact the customer, not vice versa.Phone records (all calls are recorded) show no indication of the customer ever bringing up extra boxes before the initial pickup.Comparison of initial estimate and BOL will NOT be the same - corresponding paperwork can be provided upon request. It shows extra boxes AND pieces of furniture." I don't understand this response, sometime business is saying I should refer to BOL for figuring out the discrepancy and over the call they have told me several times and even in the previous reply by the company, they mentioned "complete and detailed BOL (Interstate Bill of Lading) was provided to the customer upon the delivery to examine and compare with his own paperwork to see the discrepancy".Now business is saying estimate and BOL will not be same, this doesn't make any sense to meI don't think they are providing any documents or paper work which shows total item's cubic feet is All I am asking from them is a paper work which shows how many cubic feet each item is of and the total of that should come to cubic feet, which they should already have it, right? I Reject this reply and I am not satisfied because they are not able to show any paper work which shows total item is of cubic feet. I'm confused which document should I refer to for calculating the cubic feet of my itemsif they have calculated the cubic they should have that documented or must have some paper workI want that break down of the cubic feet for each itemI think this is simple request, not sure why they are not providing any documents to me.Please feel free to reach out to me in case you need to talk and want some more clarification on this issue. Thanks,***

We are working to rectify the situation and will be in touch with the client in a matter of days to resolve all issues.

First of all, my wife and I had a bad experience with this moving companyWhen they originally packed us up on June 29th we had an agreement on the priceThey had a spreadsheet of everything that I had to move and it was for a certain amount of space on their truckAfter they loaded it up, they said we went over the square footage that was allowed and they charged me over $1,more than the original price, even though we sold some furnitureI contacted the manager and told him my situationI felt scammed, he did not get back to me for almost days after I kept calling and emailingHe said they readjusted my price to the original price after they double checked my loadThey get to my place finally in los Angeles from Ny and the said they can't fit their wheeler on my block, so they have to rent a shuttle and offload everything onto that then bring it to my aptThat was an extra $I told them they could park there truck in the front of the building and I even show

I wonder if they read my email and check all the receipts and evidence files correctlyI requested the refund of what I am entitled to receive and the compensation for the delay in the deliveryIt was very clear in the email from the beginning with all the receipts and evidenceI requested the refund of $($for the charge that the moving company did not exercise legitimate charging process plus $for the service that I paid but the moving service never provided.) This is the refund that I am entitle to receive definitely by custom's lawAdditionally, I requested the compensation for the delay as my shipment was over 3,500lb which is due for compensation if the shipment is delayedI submitted receipts for the air mattress and food that I had to purchase due to the delivery of shipment. As I got yelled and severely insulted by the moving company over the phone (which I also have a record of phone conversation if you want evidence; Texas is a one-party agreement state in terms of recording of the phone conversation), I have been seeing a counselor due to this very disruptive and hurtful phone calls from the moving companyI also have been seeing a lawyer as this all accident has been tremendously affecting my life mentally and physicallySo I strongly object to the company's forcing calls.

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY! They sent ONE mover, with a 50+ foot truck, to move my things He damaged my brand new sofa - once when he dropped it off the truck, and again when he sliced the fabric with his knife as he was cutting away the packing material The company did not deliver all of my items -- three weeks later, I have to assume they took them The company NEVER returned a phone call Their "manager" told me to call at a specific time, and then didn't answer his phone I left a message -- he never called me back Another "manager" changed his phone number after I called him twice -- no return call either A salesman for this company told me that they were very understaffed - many movers had recently quit - and that's why there was only one mover for the move in DO NOT USE THIS MOVER If I could give them zero stars, I would

This company has been rude and uncooperative from day they picked up my belongings I hired them to move two locations simultaneouslyMy California truck picked up on March and after not knowing where my stuff was for two weeks finally delivered my stuff four weeks after pickup
My Bed frame and a end table are broken and all my boxes are crushed and damaged I'm missing a box of clothes and a box of crystal glasses and a brand new SHOEI motorcycle helmet is missing I've called everyday and talk to a different person who says they will send me a claim form and/or try to locate my missing items and that's as far as I get No one calls me back or sends me a claim form I have been spoken to very unprofessionally and lied to by this company for the last three weeks I just want my stuff returned and replaced I have video of the movers just tossing stuff in my house - I can only imagine how it was treated moving into their storage and back on a truckI ended up paying $

This company was hired to move my belongings from California to Delaware They packed my furniture and boxes onto their truck on 4/17/ On 5/6/some of my furniture was delivered, mostly damaged About 75% of my belongings have not been delivered yet and this company is non responsive to inquiries I would like a refund for the damaged and missing items

APRIL 2018.....Sales agent quoted me a contract price ($4700)..Movers show up and demand $10,000...Haggle to 8000...demand $tip on credit card bill under duress, to continue...upon complainingthose laborers were not reliable and no longer work for company....too badcouldn't talk to sales agent about pricehe no longer works for the companytoo bad....Goods in storage till June..upon delivery.....unmarked boxes, missing boxes...damaged goods....Great difficulty contacting Traditional Expressno answered or returned calls difficulty getting claim formsCompany agent tells me he found some of the lost stuff and will send it outI held off on the claim till found stuff arrives never doesdifficulty making contact again....Now this agent no longer works for the company and new person will look into itstill nothingmade a claim to stop credit card payment in interim but the whole thing is still dragging out and it's very difficult to cont

Traditional Express damaged multiple furniture items upon taking delivery of our goods We paid $9,for the total move, which was $5,over the original quoted price- i'm sure my original estimation of goods was slightly off, but not off by double A long haul fee was added when items were delivered I have had other furniture deliveries since the move with traditional express and tractor trailers have been able to pull into the large circular drive This seems like a scam and an easy way to tack on an extra $ Among the reported damaged items, the damaged furniture I am most concerned with is the master bedroom set in which both the dresser and small chest are cracked on the right front corner on the top and bottom and there are multiple gashes/gouges along the front edge The damage is highly visible and these items were purchased only years prior to the move The value for these items is $1,500- $for the large dresser and $for the smaller chest On the
