Good Day *** We at Traditional Express sympathize with your displeasure regarding your recent move with usWe have had numerous phone conversations in efforts of resolving your matterWe were under the impression that your issue was due to the delivery delayIt was a
surprise and shock that you have left a review online and submitted the photos to us of your items claiming "damage" but the photos do not show any damage to your itemsI have also just been informed that you have refused to pay for the authorized charges on your credit/debit cardIf there were any lost or damaged items we would have gladly refunded your money but for you to submit a fraudulent claim based on a delivery delay is distastefulI also do not see any documentation or evidence stating that we "overcharged" you for any service during your relocation nor did you express this to me over the phone when we spokeThe only issue that you eluded to was the delivery delayIn conclusion if you wish to submit an authentic damage claim please do soOur claims manager is: *** *** ***
*** *** *** *** Sincerely, The above mentioned email was my response to *** *** complaint which was submitted on Friday 8/5/16.We were unable to respond until today due to scheduled maintenance work being done to our email servers and updated website.I am in consort with *** *** as we speak and will be more than happy to forward you the photos and correspondence regardingthis issue.

Traditional Express damaged multiple furniture items upon taking delivery of our goods We paid $9,for the total move, which was $5,over the original quoted price- i'm sure my original estimation of goods was slightly off, but not off by double A long haul fee was added when items were delivered I have had other furniture deliveries since the move with traditional express and tractor trailers have been able to pull into the large circular drive This seems like a scam and an easy way to tack on an extra $ Among the reported damaged items, the damaged furniture I am most concerned with is the master bedroom set in which both the dresser and small chest are cracked on the right front corner on the top and bottom and there are multiple gashes/gouges along the front edge The damage is highly visible and these items were purchased only years prior to the move The value for these items is $1,500- $for the large dresser and $for the smaller chest On the

These movers are highly recommendedThey’re greatThey were able to schedule our move right away the next day and offer a storage facility at a great valueGood pricing, Careful, attentive and professional moversTheir office staffs over the phone are very responsive to any concernsGood customer service; giving good satisfaction to customersI will definitely use this service again

Hello, Ms***, and thank you for reaching out to Traditional Van Lines! The reason for change in price is a significantly larger amount of items upon pickup in comparison with an estimate created upon reservationAccording to the paperwork you have electronically signed when reserving your
moving service, your estimate is binding and depends solely on the volume of items taken on the truck, with an according change in cost.Additionally:According to our company's policies the delivery cannot start before the final bill is coveredPer your relocation service contract, movers are not obligated for garbage and used packing materials removal as it is not the part of the service. As for the damages - a CC representative ([email protected]) has sent you a claim form both on Feb (PM) and Mar (AM) in order for you to get reimbursed through the insurance company(documentation proof can be provided upon request). Please reach out to Traditional if you have any further questions.

Have to be honest, at first they were great, but as soon as they packed my stuff they said I went over the square footage over $extra in feesAfter I complained every single day for about days then they email me that they readjusted my load and took off almost $ So that says the movers were originally trying to scam meThen when they get to my location there was no place in front of the building to park their wheeler to offload my stuffso they had to rent a shuttle u haul and transfer everything into that then offload it cost me an $just to do that! Then after I get my stuff moved in, it's just one guy trying to assemble my furniture whom I had to help (he was nice) but I was stuck putting every single thing together myself because it was almost am and the guy had to leaveI was left to unpack and put everything together and I have at least of their wrapping blankets that I am sure they neededSo many things had broke during the move, but I refuse to deal with them anymorejust stay away if you don't wanna be scammed like I was

Hello, *** - and thank you for sharing your experience about the move.Let me address everything in orderly fashion. As for delivery being longer than expected - an agreement was signed between you and the company before the service, stating that we legally have up to business days to deliver
your itemsIt is not at the bottom, nor is it written in small font or unreadableBy signing your moving contract you have complied with our conditions described in the latter. As for your missing item - the search for it continues and we're putting every effort into locating the helmetDespite the statements in claim, several conversations were held with Ms*** already, explaining the same thing. As for your damaged items - a CC representative contacted and provided you with claims department web-site and phone number, along with the useful information on how to claim your damages.Your move was covered by basic liability insurance, which will be honored by our insurance provider. As for the items you've described - an option of purchasing additional full-coverage or partial-coverage insurance was given to you before reserving the moveOnly in case of this type of insurance present would we been able to fully reimburse the damages. With that being said, Traditional Van Lines would like to respectfully decline the refund request due to the fact that your relocation service was completed on time, in full and according to the agreement. Please reach out to Traditional Van Lines via Customer Service e-mail if you wish to discuss the matter further.Thank you!

I moved cross-country from NY to Allen TxColonial movers contracted this company to help us with the moveWhen they were moving our property into the truck they dropped my large tool box chestOne of the guys bounced my washing machine down the stairs (I lived on a second floor)When we told they guy in charge, he said he didn't see itWhen our belongings arrived in TX, they demanded payment upfrontThe guy was rude and couldn't even communicate in the english language correctly with usOnce they started bringing in the furniture, I couldn't believe my eyesBroken bookcases, wooden butler cabinet was broken, clothes bins brokenCrushed boxesAfter the job was completed none of the garbage was removedAt the end one of the movers asked for a tip after his company over charged me by $dollarsI told him he had to be kidding most of my belongings where destroyed and over charged for it and you have the nerve to ask for a tip! I told him to get out of my house and go

WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE EVER I just used Best Interstate Moving and Storage to move between Boston and Abilene, TX based partially on their star rating on this website and partially because I needed an estimate by phone It was a TERRIBLE experience Everyone I spoke with at Best was friendly, but ultimately they were ineffective at helping me have a smooth moving experience First and most importantly, although they claimed they worked only with star rated moving companies, I was assigned Traditional Express Van Lines out of NJ Turns out they have an F from the Revdex.com My bad for not cancelling my contract right then because TRADITIONAL EXPRESS was HORRIBLE to work with! I have moved approximately times and this was BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE Not only did I not find out my pickup date until the day before my move, but the phone estimate was WAY OFF - more than $off And when it came time for delivery They couldn't commit to a date within a week of my requested delivery date In fact, I was in touch with Best every day for weeks regarding delivery While sleeping on an air mattress at my new house, I was promised delivery days in a row with no delivery and no communication from Best or Traditional Express I had to keep calling to find out what was going on Having Best as a middleman was NOT helpful AT ALL I waited at home all day days in a row because I was told "the delivery will be today between and 6, and the driver will call you" At the end of each day I never received a call from the driver, the dispatcher or BestFinally my items were delivered and the delivery itself I thought went smoothly, and everything was intact But when I finished unpacking later that evening, I realized I was missing a whole extra large box of items I left a message for the TRADITIONAL EXPRESS driver, tried to call the TRADITIONAL EXPRESS dispatcher, left a message for Best, but did not receive any return phone calls Only by email did I get a response from Best requesting my Lot no I gave them a week to try to find my items, but never got a response, only when I emailed back to Best was I told "the movers couldn't locate your items, so you'll need to file a claim" Talk about unhelpful So now I am in the midst of filing a claim, but based on the reviews at Revdex.com, I don't think anything will come of it Bottom lineDO NOT HIRE THIS MOVING COMPANY YOU WILL REGRET IT!

This company has been rude and uncooperative from day they picked up my belongings I hired them to move two locations simultaneouslyMy California truck picked up on March and after not knowing where my stuff was for two weeks finally delivered my stuff four weeks after pickup
My Bed frame and a end table are broken and all my boxes are crushed and damaged I'm missing a box of clothes and a box of crystal glasses and a brand new SHOEI motorcycle helmet is missing I've called everyday and talk to a different person who says they will send me a claim form and/or try to locate my missing items and that's as far as I get No one calls me back or sends me a claim form I have been spoken to very unprofessionally and lied to by this company for the last three weeks I just want my stuff returned and replaced I have video of the movers just tossing stuff in my house - I can only imagine how it was treated moving into their storage and back on a truckI ended up paying $

I made a contract at $1,for door-to-door delivery service including everything (long carry, stairs, etc), which is made in the form of Bill of LadingHowever, after the movers loaded my property in the truck, they made me sign another contract, which is a form made by the companyThe paper indicated some extra charges in the pick up locationAt this point, as they already loaded my property, I could not refuse to sign this paper hoping that Bill of Lading, which is the official moving contract, overrides this company-specific dubious form
On the piday, which was two weeks delayed than the promised date on the Bill of Lading, they arrived in my apartment demanded extra charge in cash for renting a Uhaul, and extra labor for loading and unloading UhaulI refused to pay as they did not notify me about the final charges prior to delivery or while in transit and the extra charge was more than $of the initial contract paper, which is illegal by lawThen, the movers ran

We contracted our move with *** *** *** who out-sourced our move to Traditional Express Van Lines It was a move from locations in NY and PA to FL The company showed up with a van that was too small for our move, and thus our possessions had to be packed/shoved to make them fit We were told (we did ask for a June date) that the truck would arrive on June by ***, but clearly there was no communication and when we flew to receive our house goods, after at least phone calls, found out our possessions had not left NJ Communication was horrible Once the truck arrived, the boxes had been dropped/thrown/were smashed A large mirror packed by them was smashed Only one piece of furniture packed by them had no damage A large glass ball that the movers had taken to the warehouse to “pack special” never arrived and has evidently been deemed lost We attempted to contact the driver who packed the ball to see if he could helpThe 2nd text message found us

Highly highly recommend this group! Many of my colleagues had used them and I gave them a tryFast, efficient, responsible and honest group of people, can't ask for more from your moversI have used other company's and no other have given me this satisfactionsI moved out from a one bed room apartment to a house and they did it in less than hrs with a mile drive in between

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:Traditional Van Lines has given us an estimated time of arrival for our items on two previous occasions. They have failed to meet both of those arrival estimates. Our first ETA window began on 4/24/and lasted ten business days
Since that time, we have been unable to get Traditional Family Van Lines to:Return a phone callDeliver our missing itemsFurthermore, we have been advised by this company to begin the claims process only after all of our items have been delivered.

This has become a larger ordeal that anticipatedFirstly, the client sent us an estimate of inventoryOur Sales rep made a mistake by not including the furniture in the list of inventory however the sales rep did over estimate the volume nearly double what the inventory the client electronically
signed off forThe total inventory that the client signed off for only had or so boxes in it, the actual inventory the sales rep did not include had furniture. On the date of the move it was a shock to both the company and the client that we had to move furniture because of course we did not have a complete inventory in the databaseThat being said, the actual volume of the move was close to our total estimate that we sent outWhat really upset the customer was he assumed we breached the contract yet he electronically signed off (the electronic signature is bellow the inventory) to the inventorySince the electronic signature is bellow the inventory we have to assume a client would do their due diligence and see that the inventory did not include any furnitureWe implore clients to examine the documents we send themThis showed lack of initiative by the customerWe had brought in a lawyer to help us with this clients claims because he became hostile and infuriated with our companyWe had since fired the sales rep Mike because of course he should have done his due diligence and included the new inventory into the company documents however the customer should have also noticed that the inventory he signed off to was by a long shot wrongIt would not be fair for us if he is claiming breach of contract if the customer never reviewed the inventory he signed off toIt makes one think why would any one do this? We already admitted to making a mistake and wanted to fix it by completing his move and getting those remaining items down to his new home for him Considering that if we had taken into account all items the inventory volume would have increased and he would have had to pay for those additional items volume anywaysThe customer claimed that other companies are charging him $to move the remaining items we could not delivery, that seems a bit far fetched and it leads us to believe the customer is stretching truths for his own gains We are absolutely willing to work with him yet he wont speak to anyone except for the Rep that we had already firedWe want to close this and solve his problems asap

First issue was additional charge of $1,on day of pick upI added bins, dresser, and packing charge for mirrorThe number of items increased from to piecesAdditional $1,was a shockImmediately after pickup, I called Traditional to confirm delivery on first available date promised or within day window that they guaranteedI planned to drive hours to South Carolina day before deliveryUnfortunately, no one answered phone even though I called multiple times every day and left messagesOn day before first delivery day promised, I began driving to South CarolinaAfter calling multiple times while driving most of the way, someone finally answered the phone and said that not only would they not deliver items on first day promised, but they could not provide a date when they would deliver, and that legally they could deliver items days after pickup date which was additional and one half weeks after their original promised dateThey also said that they did no

Hello again, Ms***!I'm truly sorry to hear that - I will double check with my dispatch to confirm on the fact of your discountOnce more, I can confirm that communication was kept between you and Customer Service at Traditional Van Lines. With all due respect, Ms***, I did not hear a single statement that indeed justified your accusationsMissing and damaged items are sometimes to occur during the service - this is due to various factors, and I can assure you that thievery is most certainly not one of them.As you know, you are not supposed to hear from us in regards of your claim - the insurance company issues a reimbursement to you directly.I have described most of our points to you in a previous respond, so I would seem it to be rude to repeat myself in regards to that.I would kindly advise you to wait for a response from the claims department in order to getting your reimbursement.Thank you for understanding

We moved on July 4th of this year from CT to NC When we first decided to hire a moving company I went onto a site where I hear back from moving companies who want my business The very first company I heard from was Traditional Express Van Lines Mitch was the representative I got to speak to We hit it off for probably an hourHe said everything I wanted to hear While we were talking I had many others trying to get through to talk to me about their companies but I ignored every one because I thought...how could I get a better deal than this?? Boy did he fool me! When the movers arrived they told me that only a third of my home was going to fit in the truck they brought I explained to them that I spoke with Mitch for a while about all of our belongings and he told me we would be covered and the price I was given was around $2, I was very pleased! hence why I didn't speak with any other company So when the movers arrived and walked my home, they told me they wouldn't do the job for less than $6,000.00!!! That's a huge mark up!!! I was so upset, I called Mitch right away He was like "what's going on Sarah" yeah, your buddy buddy talk won't work this time Long story short we ended up talking the actual movers down to $5,first half being a check the second half they only accept cash!!! The movers that moved us to NC seemed to wrap our stuff well I will give them that There were movers and the two young men did a great job wrapping up everything My biggest complaint goes to Mitch and the manager "G" that delivered our stuff to our new home in NC There were two other guys that helped out, I guess they were hired through craigslist to help outTheir names were Braxton and Scottie Who I have both of their information to back me up They say it all! They saw G mess up my floors, bang into my walls and best yet I have two pieces of bedroom furniture that are ruined! Nice furniture that now whenever I look at them I'm reminded of this horrible company! Now I'm stuck with about a thousand dollars in damage...due to these movers Plus the extra I ended up paying for the move to begin with Please listen to my warning! Shop around! Look into a company before you hire them! I'm a good person who just wanted a fair price....so unhappy with all that happened!!!

Movers picked up my belongings from Austin TX on 7/I was not present, but I spoke with the head mover, told him there were special requests, and that some items needed to be left behindI also sent him numerous text messages asking them to leave certain items behind, and to make sure they took everything else- including the TV and wall mount
I found out later that the mount for my tv was left on the wall, and several items were left behind including a large wire shelf, step stool, and patio rug
I was informed that they also took the items I specifically told them to leaveNow I'll need to pay to return these items back to Austin
They also left my front door and my patio door wide open and did not lock up after themselves
I sent several emails starting about days ago asking what they planned on doing about this and received no responseI have not received any response from anyone regarding anything
I heard from my mover today and he informed me that my
