We had an amazing experience with Traditional Van Lines from beginning to endThey moved us across the country from TX to ConnecticutFrom initial consultation to delivery in Connecticut it was flawlessWe have worked with a few professional moving companiesThey provided a comprehensive overview with step by step attentiveness to every aspect of our moveWe just couldn't be happierEveryone we worked with from the office were so helpful and nice and the moving staff was so efficient and professionalHighest recommendations for Traditional Van lines moving & storage company!

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyoneUnless, you call them up, no communication from their endThey quoted the lowest rates and once you had paid up the initial amount upfront, no response from anyoneThe guy who came to pick up my items had a binding estimate higher that what was given to meDespite showing the binding estimate, he refused to accept that and said call customer service to resolve the disputeThis process took more than a month to resolveWhen they agreed to resolve the dispute, it was as if they were doing me a favorThe dispatch people never pick up the phone and if by mistake, they pick up the call, they give all information that I will receive my items within daysAnd yet after all the assurances from dispatch, the items arrived more than days later They have a horrible customer service experience and I would NEVER recommend the company to do a cross country move

These guys are amazing! There isn't anything they can't do! And they really helped me out in a pinch! Great , hardworking guys!!! Will always use them in the future!!

My move was scheduled for 7/27/from Virginia Beach, to FtMyers, FLI scheduled time off to accommodate the pick-up, but then received a call at on 7/26/from Dmitry claiming that they were on their way and would arrive at I informed him that the pickup was from a storage unit that closes at but he insisted that they would be able to load before thenDmitry arrived at approximately in a moving van which I was doubtful would fit my 10xstorage unit full of household goodsI instructed him that it was imperative that the furniture not be damaged, as I spent the weekend prior double layer bubble wrapping each piece, which was then additionally packed and wrapped by the movers prior to loading into the vanAt approximately the van was fully loaded and when it was time to sign the paperwork, Dmitry was getting upset with my reading of the forms prior to signing because he needed to get back to DC that eveningWith the gate locking time rapidly app

Was given a move quote of $and was charged $when my items were picked up Told after everything was loaded and not made aware prior Had major issues contacting the company once they had my items with numerous phone calls not returned for several days Changed my delivery date and time to one hour prior only to tell me when they arrived they could not fit the truck into the loading dock The loading dock is shared with a grocery store so large trucks are in and out of there all day long When they arrived the following morning at 9, they had forgotten items in another vehicle and between them running around like is and refusing to start moving anything of mine until my credit card was validated for yet another $1300, they did not start until 11am I had the loading dock until and if course they ran over time so I had to pay an additional $for extra loading dock time They damaged many items in my new unit, delivered a box of my items to another customer, left

The only reason I selected one star is that there is no selection for negative starDO NOT BOOK WITH THIS MICKEY MOUSE OPERATIONI worked three months in advance for a cross country moveOn the day of the move the "supervisor" showed up and stated he needed four thousand dollars (50% above the original price) above the contract price to complete the move, essentially a hold up as I had to be out of the house the next dayLacking any choices I paid the additional however I told the "supervisor" this would not standSummarized, after numerous "hot" conversations with these people, I left them with a choice, return my money or get suedAfter I requested the full name of the individual, his boss and to confirm corporate mailing address to send suit papers, LIKE A MICKEY MOUSE CARTOON my money magically was returned to me after these dullards figured out this was a real world situationTheir email note was it was a "clerical" errorBe advised these people are crooks, the people they use to assist in loading are questionable craig's list hires, the positive reviews are clearly fake newsMy dear people you have ben warned!

We used this company to moveThey are holding our stuff and asking for more money to deliver it to us then what was originally contractedThey tell us something different every time we talk to themThe originally were supposed to deliver our items on the 21st and it is now the 23rd and we still have no idea when our items will arriveIf ever

First of all, my wife and I had a bad experience with this moving companyWhen they originally packed us up on June 29th we had an agreement on the priceThey had a spreadsheet of everything that I had to move and it was for a certain amount of space on their truckAfter they loaded it up, they said we went over the square footage that was allowed and they charged me over $1,more than the original price, even though we sold some furnitureI contacted the manager and told him my situationI felt scammed, he did not get back to me for almost days after I kept calling and emailingHe said they readjusted my price to the original price after they double checked my loadThey get to my place finally in los Angeles from Ny and the said they can't fit their wheeler on my block, so they have to rent a shuttle and offload everything onto that then bring it to my aptThat was an extra $I told them they could park there truck in the front of the building and I even show

We moved on July 4th of this year from CT to NC When we first decided to hire a moving company I went onto a site where I hear back from moving companies who want my business The very first company I heard from was Traditional Express Van Lines Mitch was the representative I got to speak to We hit it off for probably an hourHe said everything I wanted to hear While we were talking I had many others trying to get through to talk to me about their companies but I ignored every one because I thought...how could I get a better deal than this?? Boy did he fool me! When the movers arrived they told me that only a third of my home was going to fit in the truck they brought I explained to them that I spoke with Mitch for a while about all of our belongings and he told me we would be covered and the price I was given was around $2, I was very pleased! hence why I didn't speak with any other company So when the movers arrived and walked my home, they told me they wouldn't do the job for less than $6,000.00!!! That's a huge mark up!!! I was so upset, I called Mitch right away He was like "what's going on Sarah" yeah, your buddy buddy talk won't work this time Long story short we ended up talking the actual movers down to $5,first half being a check the second half they only accept cash!!! The movers that moved us to NC seemed to wrap our stuff well I will give them that There were movers and the two young men did a great job wrapping up everything My biggest complaint goes to Mitch and the manager "G" that delivered our stuff to our new home in NC There were two other guys that helped out, I guess they were hired through craigslist to help outTheir names were Braxton and Scottie Who I have both of their information to back me up They say it all! They saw G mess up my floors, bang into my walls and best yet I have two pieces of bedroom furniture that are ruined! Nice furniture that now whenever I look at them I'm reminded of this horrible company! Now I'm stuck with about a thousand dollars in damage...due to these movers Plus the extra I ended up paying for the move to begin with Please listen to my warning! Shop around! Look into a company before you hire them! I'm a good person who just wanted a fair price....so unhappy with all that happened!!!

Have to be honest, at first they were great, but as soon as they packed my stuff they said I went over the square footage over $extra in feesAfter I complained every single day for about days then they email me that they readjusted my load and took off almost $ So that says the movers were originally trying to scam meThen when they get to my location there was no place in front of the building to park their wheeler to offload my stuffso they had to rent a shuttle u haul and transfer everything into that then offload it cost me an $just to do that! Then after I get my stuff moved in, it's just one guy trying to assemble my furniture whom I had to help (he was nice) but I was stuck putting every single thing together myself because it was almost am and the guy had to leaveI was left to unpack and put everything together and I have at least of their wrapping blankets that I am sure they neededSo many things had broke during the move, but I refuse to deal with them anymorejust stay away if you don't wanna be scammed like I was

My entire move with Traditional Van Lines has been disappointing since I paid my deposit last SpringThey are impossible to get in touch with in the office and the lead foreman was a bullyHe threw my stuff around, bullied me into signing documents that I didn’t agree with and threatened that if I didn’t sign he would empty the truck onto my lawnSecond, when the foreman was making the bill of lading he did not actually check the conditions of my items, but rather took my inventory and copied it onto the sheet AFTER I had signed the paperworkAt the time I didn’t mind because my inventory was exawasn’t until I got copies that I saw he initialed “dinged” on all of my furnitureWhen asked, he replied “it’s just to cover my *** I don’t want to be responsible for small dingsYou can write a claim once you get your stuff”Obviously I wasn’t happy but he was now in a position of power and there wasn’t much I could do now as a young woman alone fighting with an older manMy p

Thank you for reaching out to Traditional with your issue!As a first, I can assure you that all our employees undergo an extensive background check and hours of training before going out in a field - thus eliminating the possibility of theft.In most cases, a misplaced TV ends up being found in a warehouse or left on a trailer.An entry was submitted to the warehouse management with a request to locate your TV.Our employees are scouring through the facility as this response is being compiled, and will let you know about any updates to the matter.Additionally, an insurance claim form has been sent to your e-mail in order to claim the missing item in case it ends up staying misplaced.Unfortunately, taking into account the industry specifics, the company is not responsible for full value of items being moved, limiting it to liability insurance coverage

This company is the most unprofessional company I have ever worked withI have moved across the country and back twice now, and this has been the most unpleasant experience yetNot only is the team completely unresponsive by phone and email, they damaged my furniture, delivered wrong boxes, and charged me 400% more than the original estimate (even though I provide an exact itemized list of all of my things, including the dimensions)This company lures it's customers in with falsely advertised prices and does not care for your items
