I went to a local FYE store and was signed up to their VIP pass without my consentI have been charged $for a service I did not consent to, want or useI have been charged for a total of $without my consentThey refuse to refund

I visited FYE in Florida while on vacation on Aug The lady asked me to sign twice on the pin pad but assured me the first transaction didn’t takeShe did also say I would get a 10% discount on the discount cardI asked her is it would cost me anything and she said noFast forward months& I am noticing charges on my card and received a magazine in the mailI called the bank and spoke with rep stating I didn’t make those chargesThe rep provided phone numbers for the places chargedI calledFood network magazine had charged me $but I didn’t orderI asked how they got my infoThey said fye promotion signed me up and charged me without my permissionThe guy was very nice and offered a refund easilyI then called FYEThe lady was rude and said I signed up for the program while in the storeI told her I didn’tShe said the lady gave me a card with terms and conditions and wasn’t there fault if I didn’t readI told her I didn’t get a card nor did the lady te

I shopped at the store in *** *** in JanuaryI purchased some *** *** dollsI rarely shop in the mallThe gal at the register stated that I could save a little with a rewards card that cost a one time per year While I am only in there a couple times per year, I thought it would be good to save on *** PopToday, I see a charge for this month from FYEI go and look at Feb and sure enough another chargeNobody ever told me it was monthlyThat would be a wasteI told her I am rarely in thereI am so mad at either her lack of training or deliberate misrepresentation

To me its like a slap in the face or haha we're not going to do anything for you that's importantThis is the worst custometr service through a company that's supposed to be for consumers!

I have only been to this store onceI bought a couple postersThe guy asked me if I wanted to be a VIP I said no I don't come here enoughHe asked if I wanted to save money I said sureI dont really look at statements but I just did and I see money being pulled out of my account from them after I said no I did not want itI called and they said that when the guy put the discount on it automatically enrolled me into the vipI did not want this serviceI do not go to this store

I was offered a FREE membership with this company upon purchasing something from them back in march of At that time I was never told about any continuing fees or anything of that natureAll that was said to me is that I would save a certain percentage off my current purchase upon enrollingI agreed to those termsHOWEVER, upon doing an inspection on my bank account after coming up short on money for the past couple of months I noticed that I was receiving a $dollar charge on my account for the past several months with the description as FYE Backstage membershipI was immediately concerned because not only did I never agree to being charged monthly for the subscription service, I NEVER at ANY point gave them my debit card or bank account information! This is not the worst scam in the world but it still sucksLiterally bought ONE dvd for nostalgia purposes and the kid at the register said hey, why don't you sign up for this & get 10% off, no fees mostly just emails letting you know about specials - harmless right? He didn't make me fill out anything except to give him my email and I figured whatever they have my email, no biggieFast forward a month later, FYE has taken $out of my bank account - how did they get this information unless they took the secure card info I used at their store and charged it without my consent? So I call, cancel, receive a cancellation email, and am refunded my moneyCrappy to have to waste my time for something I did not expect but it's done and over withNow here we are today, two months after literally just giving my email and I have officially been charged $20.00, this time to a Magazine Service for a subscription I never signed up for! I call the company who 'does not see an account for me' but then mysteriously the guy on the line has my address and is asking me to verify it so I can get my money backAfter I ask him how they got this information he says "well ma'am looks like you signed up through FYE." At this point, regardless of the amount of money, I am terribly annoyed that I even have to deal with this and monitor my bank account because you can't simply cancel something you'd promised to cancel months agoFYE / Trans World / whatever you want to call yourself, you are scamming sm and I am disgusted at the tactics you use to sucker your poor employees to manipulate people like me who never shopped in your store before minus the one time and definitely won't nowI understand that one person in the scheme of things means nothing but seriously, I hope you go out of businessThe way you obtain people's information is fraudulent and unlawfulThis review may also not matter but I hope it contributes in the fight to keep you an unaccredited business and keep potential customers aware of the dangers of shopping at your store, even if it is only for dvd

FYE (For Your Entertainment) offered me a 30-day trial for their Backstage Pass programThey never notified me that I would be automatically enrolled in it unless I told them I wanted to opt outThey took $from my checking account without my permission

This is about the FYE.com businessDO NOT USE THIS COMPANYThey always have promos online, so they have the best prices on the internetHowever, they make so many mistakes on orders that it's not worth itI've made about orders with this companyI've received exactly order that was mistake freeThey shrink wrap cds/dvds that look like they have been used as coasters and sell them as newThey mislabel movies and will send you the completely wrong itemThe biggest problem here is when you return things to them, they will NOT ever refund your purchaseThey have no customer service phone number, and they will ignore your emails or just flat out act obliviousI've returned orders, it's been about a month since they have received bothI've received no refund and they have just stopped replying to my emailsI've had to file bank charge backs, which I absolutely hate to do, to get my money backBUYER BEWAREThey have the best prices, but when they mess up your order, be prepared for a fight to get your money back
