Hello, While we would desperately like closure on this issue, the proposed solution is not acceptableWhile I would like to the Revdex.com for opening the line of communication with this company (as they have ignored me), the solution is far from acceptable at this pointI received an email shortly after the businesses response to the Revdex.com stating that they would reimburse me for costs after I locate my own repair facilityIf I cant trust these folks to do the right thing to begin with, I cant trust that they would reimburse me for the repair eitherI do appreciate the Revdex.com getting this companies position in writing thoughWith that being said, my report to the Revdex.com is not just to get resolution, but to serve as a consumer awarness regarding Haier, and their poor business practices In response to Haier, I would like to answer each one of their statements “Haier has provided a refund to the consumer who name is listed on the bill of sale *** *** We are aware o* *** *** statement that he actually owned the unit but since his name is not on the bill of sale we cannot provide accommodation as we have no way of knowing who actually owns the unit”. As I told Haier both over the phone and via email, *** is just the guy who picked up the ac unit for us, nothing morenothing lessIf I could take back the way I set up the purchase online, I wouldThe idea that they do not know who the unit belongs to is absurd! I physically own the unit(Which I have been trying these folks to pick up)I am the registered owner with Haier(The warranty is under my name)I have the receiptI am the one who contacted Haier over the brand new faulty unit(Had to call numerous times after being told they would send someone to my houseWas forced to take a refund due to this company not having a single repair shop that will work with them, but still refused to issue a check in my name) I am the person who filled out and signed Haier's forms for the warranty replacementI physically have the Mastercard gift card that the unit was purchased with(Included with this is the printout of the account summary) “In the opinion of Haier this is an issue which needs to handled between ** *** and ** ***, possibly in civil court” All *** did was pick up the unitNothing morenothing less! He did not put out a faulty product, lie about repairing it, leave me (the consumer) left holding the bag, and ignore any further requestsThat was HAIER! Haier sold a faulty product, and wont fully stand behind it.While I too feel as if small claims court is in the future, it will be between Haier and myself “Having said that, if the check is returned Haier has offered to pay the Labor and provide free parts on the condition that ** *** finds his own service provider” If this was the solution provided months ago, I may have taken itI cant trust Haier to do the right thing, and at this point, want nothing else to do with the company, it products, or its lies! The simple fact that they added that the would "reimburse" me for repair via email, but did not state that to you folks, should prove the ill intent of this company While I know that our situation is unique, If I were to purchase a Haier product as a gift for instance, I would not want that person to go threw an instance like thisWith their “policies”, consumers should be aware of this before purchasing their products as gifts as well In closing, I would like to thank the Revdex.com for reviewing this issue, and would like to ask for further assistance in tracking down the proper information on who to send legal paperwork with HaierI have asked repeatedly, but have been ignoredIf they truly believe that they have done the right thing, they should not be afraid to give the name and address of their registered agentI have no problems filing against them to rectify the situation, but need the proper information as to where to send the paperwork toAny assistance the Revdex.com can give us on this would be greatly appreciated Thanks! *** ***

Mr*** was sent a refund check for $on 6/29/*** tracking shows the check was delivered 6/29/ The warranty for HVAC products is years parts only there is no labor warranty We do not sell or stock this product anymore so we offered a refund Reviewing similar products (ton air handlers) which would fit into this application shows a list price of $Haier added an additional $as a goodwill gesture Our last communication with Mr*** was his acceptance of the refund amount Jim S

Haier is offering a return authorization through the retailer ** *** ** *** will offer store credit to be used toward a replacement unit

Haier has contracted with local appliance service providers to provide in-home warranty support as Haier does not have service technicians in every city in the USAccording to the notes in our Customer record # *** ** *** had reached out to Haier on 8/to complain the original service
company had not set up and appointment for serviceTo expedite service we reassigned the call to a new service providerThe new service provider notated that they attempted to reach out to ** *** on a few occasions the last being 9/when a voice mail was leftHaier understands concerns about the personal privacy and safety but we have no other way of providing in-home service supportIn the future extar effort will be made to ensure that our consumers understand the method of resolution that is being provided

Haier is arranging an exchange through the Retailer *** Ticket # ***

The Executive Office will contact *** *** to resolve the refund issue

As stated in our prior response, since the unit is being used commercially the product has a day warranty which is stated on page of the manual (attached) This is not a compressor issue so the year compressor warranty is not a factor

Haier refrigeration products are designed to work in indoor applications only as stated on Page of the operation manual. Using the unit in a garage or similar outdoor space violates the warranty. That being said Haier will offer a one time service accommodation to resolve the
issue

Haier is shady in their business practices. I will never do business with them again. I am out $because of their scam to sell a defective TV. Just Google them and see the thousands upon thousands of complaints against them. I wish I would have prior to my purchase. Revdex.com - I hope you take notice of their shady business practices. They sold refurbished television units on that one *** deal alone. This TV (among thousands of other TV's of theirs!) is defective! It will *never* work again. Obviously I do not want one of their repair servicers to come in to my home "as a courtesy" to attempt to fix what is defective and cannot be repaired. Deny the warranty and then when I show proof suddenly they will honor it but "only as a courtesy". Yeah right I simply want my money back. They refuse. Shady, shady scammers. Their customer service is still emailing methey do not have internal communication. Ridiculous! I am so pissed. Scammed out of $400. Thanks Haier!

The product in question has a year parts warrantySpecifically Haier will provide replacement parts as required for ten years from date of purchaseThe product is sold without a labor warrantyHaier would normally advise the consumer to find a local service company to service the unit and
contact *** option to arrange delivery of the replacement partsHowever as of this writing we are unable to share this information as the consumer is not answering *** the phone number provided
